by Tommyville on 04/09/2015The overall experience was great, our sales rep. Lloyd Hayes was a pleasure to be around as well as the other members of the JT dealership. We would definitely return and would recommend to others looking for the right kind of contact… when looking for a new vehicle. We were pleased at the time and effort that Lloyd Hayes put into this, and the back-up he had at JT"s.Recent Jeep purchase

by Nrplayer on 03/15/2015George worked hard to figure out what exactly I would able to purchase with my current situation. He was very nice and helpful. I left the lot with a car I love and a great sense of satisfaction from the buying experience. I'm glad George… was the one to assist us.JT Dodge Rocks

by JAbarth15 on 02/22/2015I had an outstanding experience at JT's Fiat. The Sales Consultant that I worked with, Mr. Todd Shealy, was an absolute pleasure to work with. When I arrived at the dealership, the vehicle I was interested in had been pulled up to the front… and Mr. Shealy was waiting patiently for my arrival. During the test drive, he was able to answer all of my questions and explain all I needed to know about my vehicle. He kept me informed during every step of the process, and was very friendly and engaging. There was no pressure and I was given more than enough time to make a decision about the vehicle. It was a truly wonderful experience and I would not hesitate to recommend Mr. Shealy and JT's Fiat to anyone interested in a new vehicle.Easy buying experience!

by roefamily on 12/18/2014My salesman, Lloyd Hayes, treats me and my family just like family. We recently moved to the area, and Lloyd has been very helpful, including selling us a new Jeep last year, and there was no question in my mind that Lloyd would be my guy… for this used Dodge purchase....and future purchases to come. Historically, my wife and I (as well as our families) have primarily been GM buyers, but Lloyd has helped convince us otherwise. Lloyd has become a household name for us, we appreciate everything he has done for us.new car sales staff
by wmo21 on 12/04/2014The sales staff worked for several hours to get me in a new car. They did it too. Thanks for all there helpNo surprises, friendly folks
by WmMartin on 11/15/2014We already knew the vehicle that we wanted and had run the numbers through the Jeep website and TrueCar. There were no surprises. Very pleased to have received the 1.99% interest rate which made it possible for us to purchase the car for… our son at a monthly payment that he will be able to comfortably assume after he graduates college. Very nice test drive - a lot of dealers have you turn right out of the lot, turn right a couple of blocks later, then right and right again back to dealer. I was able to get a handle on how well the vehicle drove and how well it handled at various speeds, noise level, comfort, etc. I would purchase again from JTS.credibility
by ram63 on 09/19/2014I bought a new vehicle on labor day 2014. I was told that a new TV would be given to all new vehicle customers.its now 19 days later and no TV. I didnt and dont care about the tv,its getting jerked around by the salesmen that bothers… me. I have been buying new vehilces from JT but this has really turned me away from them.Ive been told about 5 diffrent times that the TV has been back ordered after being told that the TV would be there and arriving on site. I don't know if anyone else has had this problem. I do know that in the future I will look elsewhere for a new vehicle.HORRIBLE [violative content deleted]!!!!
by mrskoblitz on 03/22/2010My husband and I have been searching for a used car, more specifically a Jeep Cherokee, for some time now. We needed the second vehicle because my husband has a job 45 minutes away and I am currently 9 months pregnant, due in 12 days,… with our first child. We had been searching at all of our local dealerships as well as on Craigslist and on Ebay. My husband located a Jeep Cherokee on Ebay that we were very interested in, and since there was a phone number to reach a sales person, we called him to inquire about the car directly opposed to just bidding blindly. The salesman, Lloyd, told my husband over the phone that the car was misadvertised on Ebay and was being pulled off due to some cosmetic problems that weren't advertised and that it was to be sold at auction. My husband, who was still interested in the vehicle, asked what price the dealership would be willing to take for the car, out the door, as long as the problems were strictly cosmetic. Lloyd told us at this point $3200 and my husband told him that since they were closed on Sunday, we were going to come up on Monday as soon as he got off work, and would be ready to test drive and sign papers- we would have cash in hand. After this conversation, my father who lives and works less than 5 minutes from Mike Addy Harbor Dodge, Jeep and Chrysler, and who owned a car dealership for many years and worked in all areas of the dealership, went to look at the car. He called and told us that although he hadn't been able to drive it due to the dealership being closed, that the car was well worth our 3 hour drive the next day to see it and that he felt that it would be a great purchase. At that point we called Lloyd back and told him that we wanted the car and would be there on Monday by 5pm (my husband having to work and then both of us having to drive to the location, which was 3 hours away). We were very adamant that we wanted the car and that we had all intentions to buy the car and that we would have cash for them in full. On Monday I personally called Lloyd to make sure the deal was still on. I called him at 1 pm and reconfirmed the out the door price on the vehicle, which had now gone up to $3528. Although not what we had been expecting to pay we were still fully willing to buy the car and told Lloyd that we would be in Lexington to make the deal at 5 pm. At 2pm, while on my way to pick up my husband from work, I received a phone call from Lloyd informing me that the car had been sold. I was devastated. I could not believe that a car that we had thought was ours and had expressed our willingness to buy IN CASH was just gone. I got to my husband's work at 3pm and told him what had happened. He was irate. He immediately called the dealership and asked to speak with Lloyd who was not available, so he asked to talk with a manager. The manager, Lonnie, told my husband that since we hadn't put a deposit down there was nothing he or we could do to remedy this situation. My husband then informed Lonnie that if we had been told about a deposit we would have placed it but it hadn't been mentioned and that we had been assured that the car was ours. My husband even went as far to tell the manager that if we had known that the car wasn't being held for us and there had been any chance of it being sold before we had gotten there that we would have bought it over the phone, in full. Lonnie told him that we could have just bought it on Ebay and avoided all of this, but my husband then responded with what Lonnie had told us the day before about the cosmetic problems and the fact that it was being taken off of Ebay completely. We weren't willing to pay the Ebay price of $6000 for a car that was falsely advertised but were very willing to pay the $3500 for it. The manager went on to say that the person that bought the car paid more than we were quoted, which A. should not matter in the grand scheme of things after arranging for us to come buy the car and B. is bOutstanding Experience From Internet Manager Colby Alley
by bragg_colonel on 11/01/2009Purchased a 2010 2-door Jeep Wrangler Sahara yesterday (10-31-09) from Mike Addy Dealership in Columbia, SC. Made the 3-hour trip from Fayetteville, NC. and Colby Alley (Internet Manager) met me at the agreed upon time. Although this… was a busy Saturday afternoon at the dealership, Colby gave me his undivided attention as we completed a comprehensive walk-around and interior inspection of the two Jeep Sahara's I was interested in. After deciding on the Red Rock Sahara, Colby and I took a test drive that exceeded my expectations of the 2010 Wrangler (I previously owned a 1997 TJ). We returned to his office to discuss price and Colby was not daunted that I had done extensive price research (MSRP vs Invoice) and came armed all of the incentives I was entitled to (Owner Loyalty, Military and Dealer Discounts). We agreed upon a win-win price and since I brought my own financing, paperwork was completed in 15 minutes. Jamey, the representative who completed the closing paperwork explained each piece of paper I signed and provided me with additional information. Upon departing the dealership, Colby checked to make sure the staff had detailed the Jeep when he noticed that the gas tank had not been filled to the appropriate level. Colby accompanied me to the nearest gas station, then pumped and paid for the gas as agreed upon. As I left the dealership, two other salesman congratulated me on my purchase and wished me luck with the Wrangler. Overall, my experience with Mike Addy Jeep (and in particular, Colby Alley) was an outstanding one! I would recommend this dealership to anyone and would purchase from them again!Deceptive sales practices in the used car department
by jimmyla72 on 10/25/2008I recently traveled over 3 hours to Mike Addy Chrysler Jeep with the intent to purchase a used 2006 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. When I arrived to see the vehicle for the first time it was a very dissapointing experience. During the 15-20 minutes… I waited to speak with the internet sales representative I had an opportunity to look the vehicle over. My findings were far different than what the salesman had led me to believe. First, the vehicle had numerous scratches on the paint which are not visible in the photos posted on their website. Second, the interior was stained and severely worn which seemed peculiar for a vehicle with less than 10,000 miles. Third, a mold and mildew smell permeated the interior, reminicent of a vehicle that had prolonged exposure to rain and water. The damp interior made a perfect environment for waterborne insects to breed as evidenced by the large amount of flying insects inside the vehicle. Also the undercarrage of the vehicle had several areas of caked on mud which could have easily been cleaned had someone taken the time to do a satisfactory job of preparing the vehicle. When I mentioned to the salesman that I had been speaking with over the course of a week (who again conveniently failed to mention these shortcomings and deficiences, yet led me to believe I was buying a 'like new' vehicle) he seemed not only disinterested in my findings but was downright rude and condescending. His response to the interior smell was that it was a 'protectant' that is used inside all of their pre-owned vehicles. Needless to say I declined the opportunity to do buisness with them. In restrospect I should have been alerted to the type of experience I would receive from this dealership since the salesman began to decrease the value of my trade-in before he had the chance to actually see it. I would strongly advise anyone to exercise extreme caution in dealing with this buisness as full disclosure doesn't seem to be their policy.dishonest salesman
by lsountris on 03/03/2014updated 06/03/2025I recently purchashed a vehicle from JT's and when going over what I wanted the salesman said ok I will get the keys for a test drive for you. I specifically stated that I wanted a v-6 with a sun roof & leather I guess he figured 2 out of… three was acceptable. In all my experiences of buying new vehicles I have asked for specifics & got them so I didn't think anyone could be this way but I was WRONG. I have driven this vehicle now for 3wks & decided to check my oil when I lifted the hood I noticed that I actually have a Hemi! I have never looked under the hood of a new vehicle but this has opened my eyes & I believe he knew what he was doing because he took the cars paper in the window & placed it in the back face down I guess that should have told me there! Well now I know & this guy gives all the salesmen a bad name, claiming to be so honest! right.great service

by CountryGirlAW on 02/15/2014updated 06/03/2025After finding some choices via the internet and making an appointment the same way, I was contacted by two different employees before I arrived the next day. Seemed like the vehicles would be ready to be seen and driven. They were not! I… was hurried to a different vehicle, which was not to my liking. Next my credit was run for this vehicle I didn't want. Next, I was given a monthly payment amount but never any specific terms of an agreement. I had to tell the salesman, R., it was not the vehicle I came to see nor did I need to see numbers on this other vehicle. He says they don't have it. So why was it advertised and confirmed by an employee less than 24 hours previous? Why did they say I could see it if they didn't even have it? To top it all off, upon leaving, a long while later, I'm shown another vehicle. Still not the right one and even less likable. After telling R. I didn't like it he said, "Well I can't sell you something you don't like" then he got out out and walked back inside without another word just leaving me there sitting in their vehicle in front of the dealership! Courteous? No! Considerate? No! Kind? No! Pushy? Yes! Aggressive? Yes! I was never even given a choice of similar vehicles to choose from. Really bad business practices. It seemed like just another day at the office for old R.
