WOULD NOT RECOMMEND
by like1000bears on 03/07/2011updated 06/03/2025We wanted a specific 2011 vehicle, with specific options. Metro Honda salesman said we can have the car in 'a couple of days', with a $500 deposit. He then called the following day with good news and bad news. He couldnt get the car we… wanted, but he COULD get one just like it with more options (and more money). He said well the car you want cant be found in New England, if anyone says they can get you this, they are lying. We said no thank you and cancelled the order. Then we went on the Honda website, and located EXACTLY the car we wanted at the Honda Dealership in Norwood, MA. We called them and confirmed it was in stock (and the right options), and put a deposit down over the phone. We picked up the car last weekend. We are still waiting to get our refund back from Metro, and they do not return phonecalls. Too bad Metro - I would have bought a car from you, but your salesman lied, and your sales manager Paul is one of the rudest individuals I've encountered. Talk about poor customer service. You lost more than the 35k we just spent somewhere else... you lost a customer with a big mouth and lots of friendsNo complaints here!..
by arm11 on 11/20/2013updated 06/03/2025I had a great expeirence at Metro honda today and I LOVE my new pilot! I was greated by a knowlegable, and professional salesmen who did not pressure me at all. It was a very refreshing change! Rui was great I wasn't looking to buy today… but he changed my mind. They had the truck I wanted and gave me the deal I needed. Anthony the finance manager was very professional and nice as well. He was quite patient considering that I had a million and a questions! I would recommend Metro honda and strongly recommend you ask for Rui M.salesman

by lapoupee on 03/24/2012updated 06/03/2025I leased a vehicle from Metro Honda. Seeing I had lived abroad for 25 years, I was totally ignorant of the process. As a result, they took me for a ride regarding the price of the vehicle and the maintenance contract. I reported them to the… Better Business Bureau. They are dishonest people and I highly recommend NOT GOING TO METRO HONDA.I figure I'll put in my $ .02
by cmj9120 on 03/31/2011updated 06/03/2025Lately I've been finding that many dealers treat internet shoppers like they aren't serious, despite the fact that I usually state flat out that sure I'm serious and that's just the way I like to shop. Still other car dealers don't send… anyone out to greet you. Last time I bought a car I visited three dealers where I literally walked around for half an hour and in some cases no one even bothered asking me what I was doing there... Anyway - after a lukewarm experience with Metro my first time there, I decided to visit them again (among others) and this time I have to say that I was treated fairly, well-informed, and at the end of the sale they were actually able to do a good deal all things considered. I think the key to car buying is to be direct. Car sales is commission-based. It is high pressure. It probably sucks to try to close these sales all the time with people that aren't serious, especially in this economy where people are probably much more careful than they would be otherwise. That said, this is no reason to make customers feel uncomfortable. If the deal can't be done, so be it. Don't fall for things you know in your gut you shouldn't be doing. And if you truly don't know what you're doing, bring someone along who does. I told the manager in advance exactly what I expected and in no uncertain terms would walk if I got the impression things weren't going to go in a way I was comfortable with. My salesperson was friendly and direct without being obnoxious and the terms were very clear. In any case, this time I think they got it right and I got the car I wanted with very little fooling around... And no, I don't work there.not to nice sales people
by adansereau on 05/06/2012updated 06/03/2025I stopped by to look at a new car, just to look but a salesperson insisted on helping me. After explaning that i wanted to look and see and then bring my wife by he keep with me. He tried to get me to commit today over and over and then… told me that seeing your not buying i am not going to spend time with you because i am on commission ! DUH ! Repeat, Im on commission and i won't waste time with you seeing your not buying ! Hello ?? I won't be back !!sales manager changed trade-in offer at last moment

by AnthonyF44 on 03/05/2013updated 06/03/2025I just recently graduaded College and am currently working full time while attending Grad School. I was not in need of a new car but was interested and was seeking advice to glance at opportunities. Metro Honda in Johnston had great… customer service and really helped me enjoy my experience and ultimately feel like i scored with an amazing deal. They were extremely knowledgable, with quality answers to every question i had and they were very reasonable with me. If i felt forced into something, i would have left instantly but they made me comfortable and helped me make a great decision. Every person i dealt with (Ben N., Matt So., Rob G., Ricardo C.) was very professional and were the reason why I made my decision. Ben thouoroughly explained all the features of the car and helped me tremendously. The car itself, 2013 Honda Accord Sport, fits everything i wanted in a car and the gas mileage is more than great. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for honest, reasonable, educated and high quality advice when looking at buying/leasing a new/used car. Overall, it was a great experience, I'm very satisfied and plan on staying loyal to this dealership, as i'm sure you would too if you give it a try.Very Pleased with Sales Experience at Metro Honda
by Musicman_sw22 on 01/05/2014updated 06/03/2025I had a very positive experience at Metro Honda, getting a very reasonable price and having pleasant, professional interactions with the sales staff regarding my purchase of a Honda Accord Hybrid in late December 2013. Initially I did… some homework on Truecar, finding out how much the Accord Hybrid cost the dealership, and what a good price would be, factoring in their destination charges. I made an offer with the Internet Sales person Brittany, who was very responsive and followed up several times to try to win over my business. She consulted with the sales manager, and we agreed upon a very decent price, which I think was helped by the fact that I had previously purchased two cars at a different Honda dealer which I told them, and that I had test driven an Accord Hybrid at that other dealership this time around. Also, I was helped by my having done the research at Truecar about pricing, and that it was the end of the year, and they wanted to sell the car on the lot. I agreed to finance the car initially (but plan on paying off the car within 3 months. Agreeing to the fiinancing helped the dealership to get end of the year rebates which helped with the pricing of the car. Jeff, the salesman at Metro was pleasant during the test drive, price discussion, and the signing of the papers. He also took time when I picked up the car to set up the blue tooth with the car with my smartphone and show me other helpful features. I also liked it very much that he did not try to sell me lots of extra packages and extra features. Though buying a car can be stressful, I found my experience at Metro Honda to be a positive one. Brittany and Jeff, and the pleasant business manager Juan C., all were personable and pleasant, and based on my recent experience purchasing a car there, I'd recommend other folks check out Metro Honda if you are interested in buying a Honda.
