Our salesperson, Ms. Anna Johns, is as cheerful as she is well-informed, as exemplarily professional as she is helpful, particularly as regards providing complete tutelage in the new audio/phone and Eyesight Driver-Assist systems. The finance manager, Dave D., was equally helpful, personal, and professional, transforming what can be a stressful experience into one that was transparent and stress-free. Though a large dealership, # 1 Cochrane Subaru understands that the quality of its staff is as important as the quality of the vehicles its sells, which is why we are thoroughly pleased return customers who are delighted to recommend # 1 Cochran Subaru with unqualified enthusiasm.Great car, great price

I worked with Steve P, who made the whole experience a true pleasure. All of my questions were answered, and he took a bit of… time going through all of the features on the car with me. Steve also went out of his way to help me through an issue with getting my title on my trade in on a vehicle which had just been paid off. As a female, I really appreciated that Steve never talked down to me. I know a bit about cars, and it was nice to work with someone who treated me as though I knew what I was talking about. Professional and friendly without being condescending, all of my questions were answered and I was made comfortable by everyone I talked with. When the car I wanted… wasn't available in the color I desired my salesperson Garret kept me informed while finding a match. When my car came in he took his time making sure I was comfortable with all of the controls and assured me that I could call with any further questions that I may have. I also feel I ended up with a good deal. It was a fabulous experience all around.A very pleasant experience

Everyone from the manager, the sales person and finance department were great and very knowledgeable. Everything was very smooth and there was not any surprises. The car… wasn't available at the time but due to their sales volume the wait was minimal and worth it. The car is exactly what I wanted and my wife and I was enjoy it for a long time. I highly endorse Kelsey as the sales rep. She may be new to the business but her knowledge and help was second to none. by sub11 on 06/24/201012 requests for quotes via Edmunds yielded 11 prompt and courteous quotes from other dealers, and 7 emails from a very pushy saleswoman at Cochran who refused to give a price. She claimed not enough information despite the very clear… listing (via Edmunds) of the exact vehicle being enquired about. Edmunds has so much great information, and the vast majority of dealers I contacted offered excellent prices and were most helpful. But I would never now even consider doing business with Cochran. They don't seem to know that their hard sell games do not work on a well informed consumer. Thank you Edmunds!new car purchase

She walked me thru the entire process. Helped me choose the car that would best fit my… needs. Answered all my questions.Assisted me with setting up the Bluetooth. May need a little more help there. Followed up with a phone call. She will be available with further assistance. They called my insurance company and I have received my temp. card. So far am loving this car.Best experience I've ever had buying a vehicle

by mlogan2 on 11/27/2013updated 06/12/2025Highly Recommend going to Cochran Subaru in Monroeville to purchase a vehicle....Ask for Harry to take you on a test ride to experience what the XV can do....I was sold after the test ride....No added pressure from the dealership even when… doing the paperwork (Extended warranties and add ons) The XV has plenty of power to do what is necessary for everyday travel and then some....Traded in our 06 Rav4 which has been an excellent vehicle as well with the 2.4 engine....didnt notice any difference in power (start out or passing )or road noise on the test dive and the 30 minute drive home on the highway compared to the XV which has the 2.0....The CVT is different but nothing earth shattering....XV is a good bit smaller than the Rav in size and cargo space but passenger space seams comparable. It definatly is not a race car but it is alot of fun to drive and handles extreemly well!....Having the all wheel drive with the fuel mileage is just Iceing on the cake!...Looking foward to many years with this Vehicle.Love the Forester

David is friendly and very thorough in his overview of the financing. This is our 4th Subaru/3rd from… them (first one was bought in California). Very knowledgeable and helpful. Got a great car at a great price. Always a pleasure to deal with them. Service Dept also great. Used them for my LL Bean Wagon I brought from California while they were still Langston Subaru. When I moved farther away from them in PA, I tried a dealer closer to home for maintenance and ended up coming back. Resulted in buying next three cars there instead of the closer dealer. Ken is a great service manager, always taking calls and answering questions (I quizzed him about the design and reliability of the new CVT and he made me comfortable with buying it). Charlie goes out of his way to get things done.Sales Experience

I just got my first real job after graduating college, so I'm still in a "frugal"… mindset. I fell inlove with Subaru when I worked at a dealership my senior year of high school, now I'll be 25 in 2 months HAPPILY shouting out to the world that I purchased my dream vehicle! I told them everything I wanted and vice versa, it happened within 4 hours. I'm extremely outgoing and instantly felt like I became best friends with everyone working there! They were wonderful and it never felt pushy or shady like you'd hear about back in the day. They used Edmunds.com so you automatically get the market best price that you'd probably research before visiting any dealership! They surprised me by detailing it and filling the tank up so I could take my fabulous dark gray Forester with me until I go back on Wednesday when my mom's available to sign the title over from my trade-in..and all my signatures to officially become a Subaru owner :-)!!! I will be recommending everyone to go to #1 Cochran, see Tim if possible, or even Jeff (I think) who gave me an extra $300 towards everything just to help me out since I was in tears earlier that day! I love them so much even though they got the sale, I got my dream car at the exact $ per month I wanted and the most reliable vehicle out there! It doesn't feel real yet! This is my third Tink Mobile and I can't wait to drive it everyday for the next crazy amount of years! :-) Much loveBest car buying experience ever!

Right out of the gate, my interaction with Charmaine S. was… personable, honest, and straight-forward. I had a lot of questions, and a list of specifications that we were looking for in our 2013 Subaru Outback. With clarity and confidence, her diligence left a lasting impression before we even set foot into your facility. With my wife, 5-year old, and 5-month old in tow, we made our way to #1 Cochran Subaru of Monroeville and were greeted with a warm welcome by your receptionist. We were politely introduced to Richard E. and David D. as they helped us get settled in and even put on some cartoons for our kids and provided coloring books as well! The information exchange between Charmaine and David was seamless. Given the short amount of time between my initial request and getting final pricing, I was almost certain that something would be miscommunicated, but I was presently surprised when the comprehensive and professional attention to detail of the team proved me wrong. David was extremely concise in bringing us up to speed on the pertinent details of the finance and insurance aspect of the purchase. I was impressed with his thorough explanations and genuine interest in making sure we understood all of the details of the purchase. My wife and I were very appreciative of Richards willingness to review the manuals, making sure we were familiar with the controls in the vehicle prior to leaving. With temperatures hovering around 23F and snow coming down, Richard made sure to answer any and all questions we had before we came back inside. I was expecting to get a good deal, but I was not expecting to have a restored faith in the way a new car purchase should be. It is with pleasant gratitude that I am writing to review my experience at #1 Cochran Subaru of Monroeville. I look forward to referring my friends and family with a full vote of confidence.
