I called other dealers in the Salem/Portland area and was not satisfied with their customer service and lack of response. I email Kendall Honda and received an almost immediate… response from Paul Casey. He gave me a quote including the value of my trade in. When I drove down to Eugene, I found the purchase process to be seamless and transparent. All pricing stayed the same including my trade. I have been purchasing vehicles for years, and found this purchase through Kendall Honda to be straight up and honest!! We had done our homework, knew approximate dealer cost, trade-in value range for our old Civic, and had… our figures. We asked Elizabeth to provide quotes, and she exceeded our numbers, which she did not know. She was courteous, professional, answered all questions, and took us on an excellent test drive. We did not want any extras, and she conveyed that effectively to management. Perfect car, perfect purchase experience, perfect sales. Elizabeth is the best.Extremely happy

Although the models I wanted were not available he took everything into consideration and found a car that met everything I needed and was looking for in the other cars. I am… very happy with the car I ended up with more so than if I had gotten one of the originals I had in mind, less expensive with more features! by crvowner16 on 12/31/2015My husband & I went Kendall Honda in Eugene to see if they had any HRVs in stock {{which there wasn't}} but Elizabeth Anderson was sincerely apologetic & explained that we had other options to choose from or that we go on a waitlist for HRV… if we did t mind waiting for it. We started to look around & we went over to the CRVs & needless to say I fell in love with one after a test drive. All of the features it has are wonderful, really feel as if you get your monies worth. Elizabeth was very helpful & friendly, she didn't pressure us to anything, it was pleasant. The customer service was excellent, which is very important to me. My husband and I appreciated the "extra mile" and the… attention to detail that we observed was given to us and our car by the service rep. Vernon. He noticed a couple of issues with the car in the course of him checking the car in for the repair and returning the car to us for pick up. It was refreshing to know that he was really paying attention to our car and to us, and not just rushing people through. Thank-you!Outstanding service as usual!
by 62Uni on 12/30/2014I dropped my car off at 8:00 AM and waited in the customer area. I ate my breakfast that I brought with me, watched a little TV and got a cup of coffee. At 9:10 I was brought my key and told my car was done and the problem, which was a nail… in a tire, was quickly found and corrected with no charge. I enjoy bringing my car to Kendall Honda. Every time I bring it in I am greeted with courtesy and the environment is very comfortable. I take it there for service when due even though I could do it myself because I have been a mechanic for 40 years. Thank you so much for another enjoyable service visit!! Note: No quote was needed and no price was paid for the service so my answer was no on both. Would have been "N/A" if the option was provided.Kendall treated me like crap
by marclp on 03/21/2008Back in early 2005, I bought a 2004 vehicle at a big Memorial Day sale that Kendall was having at the fairgrounds. The only problem that I had at that time was that the salesman was not sure what the interest rate would be. I told him… that I was not going to sign anything until I knew what the interest rate was. He went and talked to 3 or 4 different people, including a manager, and then came back to me and told me that it would be 9%. Since I was recovering from a recent bankruptcy, I thought this would work for me. So I signed the contract and took the car home. A few days later I got a call from the salesman and he then tells me that there is a problem and that they couldn't get the 9% interest rate that they had said I was getting and that I signed a contract for. So I told him that I was just going to bring the car back and that they could have it back. He said to just keep it and that he would see what he could do. So I waited a few more days and when I tried to call him, he wasn't in. So I thought the best thing to do would be to just go in and talk to a finance manager. When I got there I explained the problem and said that I needed to talk to a finance manager. I was told that there wasn't anyone there that I could talk to and that I should come back another day. I then asked to talk to a manager. A manager came out and I again explained the problem. He took me back into the finance manager's office (the one that was apparently off that day) and asked me to explain the whole thing again to him. He looked up my contract and just said, "Oh, yeah, this one has gone through and everything is fine.". I asked him what that meant. Did it mean that I had the 9% interest rate like they originally told me I'd be getting or was it something else? I asked him if he would call the person at the bank that was supposedly handling the contract so that I could speak with him myself and he gets on the phone and calls someone and he tells me that its the person I wanted to talk to but he wouldn't let me talk to him. After a couple of minutes he hangs up and says that there's no problem and that everything has been taken care of and that my interest rate that they gave me was 14% so there was no problem. I said that 9% to 14% was a big problem and that I felt like they suckered me in with 9% just to get me to sign the contract and then changed it to 14%. I then asked him why he didn't let me talk to the guy and he tells me that I didn't need to talk to him, that he took care of it. I told him that I didn't hear him taking care of anything, that the whole phone call was him talking real buddy-like to whoever was on the other end of the phone. He said that they guy was at a bar-b-q and that was why he was talking to him that way. Then I told him that it almost sounded like he was talking to a friend that he just called up because he didn't know the number of the guy that I wanted to talk to. This is where things went from bad to really bad. He got really mad and started telling me that he was done with me and that I needed to leave. I told him that I wasn't leaving until this whole thing was straightened out. He just kept telling me to leave and I told him that I wanted to talk to his superior. He said that he was that person. So I decided that there wasn't much point in my staying any longer and that I would just get in touch with the owner and let him know what was going on. So I'm on my way out to the front door and he starts in telling me what a scumbag I am for accusing him of lying and I guess I wasn't moving fast enough because he starts putting his hands on me to escort me out. I told him to take his hands off of me because if he didn't I was going to start something right there in the showroom. I was so angry that I stopped because there was a couple at a table by the front door talking with a salesman. They were getting ready to sign some paperwork and I said to the husband, "Just be careful
