A completely satisfactory experience as always. Dave knows exactly what I want. When I go in here to trade, everything is done in a very efficient manner. Dave takes time to explain all the paperwork plus the vehicle features. Perfect… as always.

Thank you,
by Marrietta on 10/13/2014updated 10/31/2014from the time we walked in we were treated like family. The receptionist was friendly, smiling, offered to help. Dave could not have been more professional. We talked, we told him what we wanted and liked his suggestions. I liked the car… and the rest is history--we bought, came home and VERY satisfied.Great Experience throughout the many years.
by turnmirej on 09/29/2014My wife and I have been dealing with this dealership for over 30-years between the two of us and have never had an unpleasant experience. We will continue to purchase our new vehicles with Dave Kehl Chevrolet. See you next year...DO NOT Buy from Here
by jbpickle on 09/24/2014What ever you due, Do NOT buy a vehicle here. Our transmission went out 12 days after purchase. The owners told us it was not their problem. Over a hour away and didn't care that it won't run. This is the first and last time I ever buy from… a dealership. Family of 6 needed a reliable vehicle that needs 2000 to 3000 worth of work to the transmission, now sits in the driveway with 30 day tags on it that can't be driven. Thanks for taking advantage of us Dave Kehl Chevrolet and how you took advantage of our family.Don't Care Whether We Sell or Not
by nelsonlsn on 03/16/2009Recently I called ahead to advise this dealership that I was travelling from Dayton, OH to Mechanicsburg, OH a distance of 50+ miles one way to look at their stock of 2008 used Uplander vehicles. I specified that I wanted only the color… silver. I arrived on Friday the day I said I would and was greeted by one of their salespersons. I was escorted thru a cold wet field and was pointed to a couple of these vehicles and when I looked around the sales associate had disappeared only to reappear a few minutes later with a box full of key fobs. After dumping approximately 25 of these on the hood of the van that I may have wanted to purchase he finally found the one that opened the vehicle. I fumbled around trying to familiarize myself with the attributes of the vehicle only to have the salesperson disappear again only to find that he had gone to try to open another of the vehicles. Both of the vehicles he showed had one or more flat tires and the vehicle that had the power side door had a diminished battery which was insufficient to operate the door. Needless to say that a test drive was not possible nor offered. As I departed the dealership the salesperson said that he would call me back that afternoon to tell me approximately what he would offer me for my 2005 Impala that was in excellent condition. I remembered explaining that I had qualified for a loan at a local credit union and that the good rate I obtained would expire the end of the month, or the next day. I did not receive a call from the dealership that day or the next day so on Sunday I submitted an offer for one of the vehicles and waited. After approximately 3 to 4 days I sent a message via the internet asking the status of my offer. I heard nothing. I then called the dealership after another couple of days explaining my situation. I was told that they had tried to call but did not receive an answer. The number I gave them was my cell phone which has voice mail and the salesperson was unable to tell me the number he had called. During the conversation no mention was made by the salesperson concerning my internet offer / inquiry but the salesperson did remember me and I was told that I would be offered a reasonable amount for my trade in and the amount he would accept for the sale was the difference based on full asking price of the vehicle. I thanked the salesperson and hung up. Two days later I faxed an offer to the dealership and the offer I made was $2,100 less that the asking price or 11.5% less. I was called the next morning and was told that the price on the internet was the lowest acceptable price. Now I am a reasonable person and I understand that a profit must be made but here is my perspective: 1. This is a used vehicle which was originally titled to Avis and then bought at an auction by this dealership. 2. This vehicle has been discontinued by General Motors and based on everything I have read and observed the interior seemed to be an afterthought by the engineers since it is not well laid out and none of the seats fold down. Bottom line it is not in high demand and the dealership had over 10 of these vehicles on the lot and when I again visited the dealership this past Sunday to make sure the vehicle I was going to make an offer on was not damaged there was only one bare spot in the Outlander section where an Outlander had been parked (I assumed that this one had been sold) but it appeared that all the others were still available. Oh by the way, the two vehicles I looked at 2 weeks before still had flat tires. My opinion of this dealership is that of the foreign car dealership from years ago that basically had the attitude "we are the only show in town". I am not trying to steal the vehicle but I do know that the $6,500 I was offered for my Chevy was a low ball offer but I accepted that but what I don't accept is the fact that they are unwilling to enter into discussions and arrive at a mutually acceptaNo interest in sales
by buckeyefan3 on 05/29/2013updated 06/03/2025The sales person was more interested in corporate sales on the phone than making the sale of a used truck to an individual. After waiting on a reply to an Internet inquiry, an email reply was received -"sorry truck sold." That was the… entire reply, and it was a lie. After waiting a few days my husband had gone to the dealership before receiving the email. The truck was still available, but the salesperson would not take the time to go to the lot or move the truck for a test drive. It was also clear that there would be absolutely no discussion on price. This was truly a bad experience.
