Worst experience ever!
by Yash91 on 10/13/2013updated 06/05/2025Wow! what a great job done here to portray these [non-permissible content removed] as friendly salesmen. I had the worst experience at this dealership. My family was singled out because of our racial background and stereotyped by Mr. Tim F.… He repeatedly attacked my family verbally simply because we requested the price of a vehicle. He stated that " you Indian people walk in and think you can get the car slashed down by $5,000". There was no need for any of this verbal assault which was then followed by stereotyping and him asking "what do you do for a living, own hotels or something?". Wow professionalism at its finest, huh? You be the judge. This dealership is just a bunch of [non-permissible content removed] looking to steal your hard earned money. But hey all I ask is at least respect the people you are planning on looting Mr. Tim F. My parents, who are both aged above 50 and friendly, did not deserve this lack of respect and mistreatment by a [non-permissible content removed], who has managed to obtain the career of an "internet sales manager". I applaud you Mr. F, what a fancy and prestigious title you have. This position requires customer service skills and leadership, both of which you clearly lack. I'm sure this message will get deleted, but do not worry, in this modern age with all the technological advances available, I plan on spreading the word about my unjust and unfriendly experience. I am particularly interested in finding out what kind of grudge Mr. Tim F holds against the Indian community, which is a large demographic in Charlotte. (In case he has not noticed.) I am appalled to witness such ignorant and egoistic behavior on the part of an employee with the responsibility of communicating and leading a sales team. Blatantly, he is a blemish to this company's reputation. Thank you for your timeVery negotiable!!! Quick time in and out the door!

We stopped at Scott Clark Honda, and a very nice young man, Shane W, approached. He asked… what I was looking for, ad I told him. He was not pushy, and suggested a car (a one owner pre-owned Honda Accord). As soon as he brought it out, I loved it. We went out for a test drive. I really liked it. It was out of my price range. Shane worked very hard to get me in that car, within my price range. Shane gets big kudos from me. He was kind, courteous, and has a great sense of humor. If I'm ever in the market for another car, I will go to Scott Clark Honda of Charlotte. Hopefully Shane W will still be there.Best buying experience ever

We started our car shopping at Metro Honda in Union County where we were left in the dark for 3 days, really. We have bought a Honda CRV, Ridgeline and a Fit in the past… 7years. So we know the quality Honda provides. With that said, we left Metro feeling empty and at a loss. I know we are rebuilding our credit and things are tough but I knew this was not right. We also were trading in a fit that we were very upside down in. On the evening of that third day I went by Scott Clark to just look. The Odyssey Touring my wife wanted was right there, so why not ask about it. I was greeted by Steve B, sales, and told him my story and he made me feel like there was a chance. About an hour into the process I get a call from the sales guy from the other dealer. He said his finance guy could not help me. (This is the third day now). Another hour roles by and Steve introduces me to Robby P, Sales Manager, who said they have us at what we were looking to spend. But on top of this, they took my SUV with 220K miles on it and got me in a used (I promise in brand new condition) as well. But the service did not end there, when the following day came around, we were with Kristen W in Finance who gave my kids coloring books and crayons to use during the signing of the papers. I am General Manager of a Very high volume restaurant in town. We strive on customer service so I think I know it when I see it. The service was just awesome, the expectations met and the team there so wanted us to buy from them that they found a way. Hats off to the team! But both Steve and Robby really made us happy and did something their competition could not. Great job dudes....Excellent Customer Service from Tim Fox

by koubair on 02/02/2014updated 06/05/2025Disappointed with the sales ethics employed by Sales team at Scott Clark Honda. Really turned away a motivated buyer. Followed up an internet lead for Honda CRV top of the line and set up the appointment for the same. When visited was told… they cant locate the vehicle and I should look at "other options". While looking at the other options the great salesman says the vehicle I came by for is sold. And that it is such a hot item it gets sold at 7 AM in the morning. Really, do these sales team think we were born today? Have some respect for the customers who spend time to setup appointment and visit your half informed staff. If the vehicle I was come for is sold, then common work ethics and professionalism would have required the jokers to call up and inform the prospective customers. But rather they would just let you come by and hope you buy something else from their lot. The great salesman didnt even let me look around the lot to check out other cars. Sorry, you lost my business and recommendation. I am still buying a CRV, but from someone else.Dear koubair, I'm greatly bothered by your experience here at Scott Clark Honda. Greg B the internet sales manager at scott clark had explained in details with regards various models in Honda which made the life easy. Finally I would say Greg is man of… word. I had little miss communication with the finance department here which is frustrating.Financial Managers are LAZY at best

The financial manager, Tony, that I was taken to was absolutely horrible! He has no personality and only… cared about getting as much of my money as he could. He showed me extended warranties and when I told him they were out of my budget he MAGICALLY found a lowered priced deal. Two weeks later now he COMPLETELY screwed up my payment plan. I called and he offered no help at all. He just gave me a phone number! I got to calling it and had to change the account # he did wrong, as well as the draft dates (he put them on the wrong weeks AND wrong days of the week). If I were to judge my experience on his service alone I would have never bought the car there and would never go back. I hope I never have to deal with him again. Price on vehicle was in line with pricing recieved from other dealers, but attitude,… experience, and trade in valuation was horrible. They have the typical Honda dealership attitude of we rock and we don't have to do anything to earn your business. The trade in we got on our Honda CRV was the lowest we received from all the dealerships we are looking at, including non dealers. When I told them we had other higher offers, they said, oh well, guess you should go buy from them then. That is the one thing they got right.Great Honda buying experience

I would not hesitate to recommend him to friends and family. David was genuine and truly… cares. I would be remiss if I did not mention Scott E the Finance Manager. Oh my gosh! Who would have thought meeting with the finance manager could be a delight ? Indeed, he was awesome explaining everything in detail and kindly answered all of my questions. Still wondering where to find that red velvet cake though? Lastly, the lovely young lady who helped me with the "gadgets" in my car was so patient and sweet. She sincerely wanted me to understand and suggested that I practice along with her, no rushing. I am hoping, I did not drive her to drinking afterwards. Even though I am a 3rd time CR-V owner it was my first purchase with Scott Clark… Honda. Jayson wanted to be sure I knew of the newest features to be able to take full advantage of their use. My experience was wonderful. I took my time and asked many questions and was never rushed to make a decision.
