I was to buy, but the manager was soooooo rude with us. They called to me all week for make appoitament. I went there… again today, to pick up the car, when I arrived there the dealer letting me know the Santa Fe was sold out. Why anybody let me know before? I lost my time.The manager was awful. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, polite, and patient. He was able to answer my wife and I… questions with great accuracy and detail. From the beginning to the end of our visit, which was over eight hours, he maintained a positive attitude. He didn't rush the process and because of this, my wife and I didn't feel pressured, but willing to make a deal. Now, I have a new car and a representative I can count on! by doty2126 on 04/05/2015Scott Clark Honda Sales Team is fantastic, especially David Rucker, he worked on getting me approved for 3 days and also didn't allow me to get frustrated with the whole process. I went in their with not so great credit, a car that was on… it's way out and not a large amount of money to put down but David listened to my needs and was able to put me in a car that a few other dealerships said was impossible. What makes David a great salesman is his upfront approach, it may not be what some people want hear but he keeps you from thinking to big and showing you the realistic options. I would recommend Scott Clark Honda and advise anyone needing too or just looking to purchase a new car to stop in and ask for David Rucker. by Bad_Sales on 04/08/2015In november 2013, my fiancee and I went to Scott Clark Toyota to purchase a used car for her. It started out great then went downhill. We had a trade in, our salesman kept jumping between us and other clients. He then had another salesman… take over our purchase. We asked for our keys to our trade in as we felt neglected and wanted to leave. All of a sudden, the keys can't be found, and the original salesman comes back and smooth talks us over. When it came down to the purchase, we found the car we wanted. My fiancee was supposed to be the Purchaser and I was to be her co-signer. The salesman assured me thats what was happening and it was not until late December when we got our first statement that my name was first as the signer. The salesman had lied to us. To add insult to this, while we were still their buying, I inquired about a car and the second salesman who I will keep unnamed, said "you can't afford that car". That should have been the last straw but my fiancee wanted the car so I walked off. This was almost two years ago and I just saw this link to rate them. I think their tactics are dishonest and am very dissapointed in those two gentleman on how they treated us. I gave Scott Clark Toyota 2 stars because the actual car we bought has been great! They sell good reliable cars but the staff there needs to be honest and respectful.I do hope that his other lots are more honest as I am shopping for a car now.Wait till you buy the car

New Honda Accord

by km9195 on 12/31/2014Working with David Rucker @ Scott Clark Honda was the best vehicle purchasing experience I've ever had. I had been in contact with multiple dealerships in the Charlotte area and had become frustrated with the the lack of specific… information provided regarding what was going to be a major purchase. The other dealerships were insistent on my committing to purchase before they would discuss sales price. When Scott Clark Honda called me back (I believe the representative's name was Amy), I had decided to delay purchase and explained to her that I had spent several hours on the phone and in other dealerships and still had no idea the sales price of any vehicle about which I had inquired. I explained that everyone I spoke with only wanted to talk about the monthly payment without telling me how much I would be financing. I was also given very low trade-in allowance from the other dealerships and explained that I was no longer interested in the car I thought I could comfortably afford (Civic) after test drive due to cabin noise and lack of comfortable seating. The person asked if I would allow her sales manager to give me a call. I agreed but held out little hope that another conversation would help. After speaking with David Rucker and JB at Scott Clark Honda, I was offered an Accord LX (loaded) as an alternative that would address my concerns about the Civic and at a lower price than I had originally been quoted for the Civic by one of the other dealerships. There was an extremely generous trade-in allowance and a low APR financing offer (0.9% for 60 months or 1.9% for 72 months). The entire transaction (email quote, drive to dealership, test drive/purchase paperwork/vehicle delivery) was completed in a few hours. The day after I purchased the vehicle, I called JB and David with questions and went back to the dealership. David showed me another trim level of the Accord because I was unsure if I had made the right decision. I decided to stick with the original LX because the differences between the two trim levels weren't that significant to me. Throughout the process, David was kind, patient, respectful, knowledgeable, direct, and extremely professional. After the sale, a representative (Brandie?) went over the features and operating instructions before we left and asked if we had any questions. It was closing time and very cold outside and raining, but she was very helpful and friendly and added to my overall positive impression of this dealership. It's worth pointing out that George Billett went above and beyond to not only get the price point close to what I was looking for in my new Honda CR-V EXL, but it was how… he demonstrated that Scott Clark's service and personnel would outshine Hendrick Honda. He already showed me this when I asked for a recommendation for an aftermarket rearview mirror that would give me the HomeLink buttons. He made some calls, sent me a text, and set it all up for me -- including negotiating the price! The reality is that the CR-V is the same no matter which dealership you go to. What really makes a difference to me is how well the personnel can demonstrate that they are there to serve you well beyond the signature on the contract. That's what makes the difference. To me, that's what makes a sale. If you make the deal just about the dollar then you've given in the commitization of auto sales. But, if you're able to take the time to show the service department, introduce the buyer to several different people and illustrate how they'll help you beyond the sale -- then that's when you have what are known as "Raving Fans". Its these fans that will help continually provide you with referrals. The more the junior sales reps know and understand that its more than just a dollar sign, the more they'll likely to close more deals then anyone else. I probably went on longer than anyone else has, but the point is a strong one and George has made me a Raving Fan.Sales Review

by jebm on 08/17/2014I recently purchased a crv from Scott Clark Honda. My purchasing experience was so enjoyable...my salesman, Simon D, was the perfect salesman...so polite. Simon took time to explain every question I could possibly ask. His sales expertise… was certainly impressive!! I had not planned to buy a car the day I walked in but I fell in love with the crv and the dealership's environment was comfortable and inviting. I called a friend when I got home for she,too,is starting a search for a smaller suv. I told her to go to Scott Clark Honda and ask for Simon D. He certainly has the right approach when it comes to selling cars!!!!Great Experience

I went in to get a smaller more efficient car and park my Ridgeline due to the ridiculous personal tax tht Mecklenberg charges each owner. After speaking with Dave, I decided to sell my… 2008 Ridgeline and lease a 2014 top of the line Ridgeline. Dave explained everything that I wanted to know and we settled on a good price for my used truck. He went beyond the norm to locate the truck that I wanted. ALthough, I wanted the blue, it could not be located and I settled on another black one. It was not the terrifying ordeal I thought it would be. 2 days later, I went & picked up my new truck. On Saturday June 21, 2014 I went into Scott Clark Honda on Independence Road in Charlotte, NC to get an oil change on my Honda Accord. While there I decided to inquire… with a sales rep on trading my car in for the 2014 Accord. In the previous months I was called a few times asking me to consider trading in my vehicle due to low inventory on the lot for gently used Honda Accords. The Sales Rep that assisted me was Luis Porras. Luis was very energetic and very personable. He and I started off by going over any changes that may have occurred on the newest Accord Model and then we went straight to viewing them. Luis was very knowledgeable regarding the Accord as to what features exists and how those features could benefit me. We ended up spending the ENTIRE day together LoL and I walked away with a 2014 Honda Accord EX-L with Navigation. Special note to the management staff at Honda who was also great and made my 2nd buying experience from Scott Clark Honda Awesome!
