    Everyone I met at Romeo Chevrolet provided exceptional customer service—from intern Tyler, to up-and-comer Billy, to Devin and Markos. However, Andrew N. truly stood out. I was introduced to Andrew in June of this year. He took the time to listen carefully to my needs and preferences for a truck, and he delivered without a hitch. His guidance was spot on, and his deep knowledge and recommendations were outstanding. What impressed me most was how consistently he followed up with me, always welcoming my feedback and never pressuring me into making a decision. Andrew made the entire process feel comfortable and unrushed. He patiently provided all the information I needed and remained respectful and professional throughout. What really resonated with me was Andrew's commitment to ongoing customer care. He assured me that our relationship didn’t end with a handshake—and he meant it. Just hours after we concluded, he reached out to check in, and when I followed up with additional questions, he answered them thoroughly and promptly. Thank you, Andrew N., and thank you to the entire team at this location. The experience was truly exceptional.

    I am thrilled to write a review about my experience at the Romeo Chevrolet Buick GMC dealership in Lake Katrine, NY. Without a doubt, it was the best experience I have ever had at a big name dealership. Without sharing any negative details about other dealerships, I was keeping a positive outlook that I would not have the same experience at Romeo’s as I have had at other places. I was glad to have kept a positive outlook because Romeo’s proved to be a wonderful experience from the beginning communication over text, to when I actually drove to the dealership (2 1/2 hours from where I live) and met the car sales representative. A few names I would like to highlight are Arianna, Ethan, Jon, and Nick. All fantastic employees in their designated department. Arianna, who works in Business Development Center/customer service was the first person I communicated with through text messages. She answered all my questions about the vehicle I was interested in and even sent some extra photos to me that she personally took. She went above and beyond to take an extra look at the interior and exterior and that honestly gave me peace of mind. Even after I was considering not taking the drive, she remained pleasant and didn’t consistently try to pressure me into coming. I finally made the choice to come in for a test drive and did not have a chance to thank her in person for her excellent customer service and her nice way of communicating simply through messaging! Ethan was the Sales representative that I was working with. I do not have enough good to say about him! He had a calm demeanor, was a good listener, relatable, honest, and confident but not pushy. He was very easy to communicate with and even was polite when I tried my hand at negotiating. He went above and beyond to make sure the exterior and interior of my vehicle were set for pick up day. He did more than I could have asked for and sadly didn’t see him on my actual pick up date. Nick was the salesman that finished with delivery and pick up day. He was also wonderful with good customer service! He did a final walk through of my vehicle and shared an app that I could download to see information about my vehicle including the option of starting it right from my phone. He was also polite in his interactions with me and my dad who I brought to both appointments. Jon from finance last but not least, made all the financial aspects and paperwork easy and so smooth. He was very clear in everything he asked for and explained things very well. I appreciated his humor as well and that was just a nice perk as I was signing paperwork and handing over my payment for my vehicle. I also want to point out the mechanics/detail department. I will never know any of your names, but you took off a stripe decal that I didn’t care to have and made my vehicle look beautiful for pick up day. Thank you to all who worked on it! You all deserve just as much credit :) All in all, everyone I encountered at Romeo’s dealership in Lake Katrine were friendly and polite. I highly recommend this dealership and will gladly drive the 2 1/2 hours again to do business with them in the future! If you’re sitting on the idea of a vehicle on their lot, take the time to visit…you won’t be disappointed! It took me 6 months, but I finally found exactly what I was looking for!

  • Best dealership experience ever!

    This was one of the best dealership experiences I’ve ever had. Commercial customer looking for the new Brightdrop van with very specific options needed. Spoke to Christina initially and she answered right away! Asked for pictures of the van when it arrived and got them before 9am in the morning. Connected with the commercial sales manager Marques who was updating me every couple hours and made me feel as if I was his only customer. I’m from another state so after the deal was made Marques drove my new van 3 hours to personally deliver it ! The best type of service by far I’ve ever experienced. He’s even been in contact with me after purchase which means a lot. Highly highly recommended. Beat every other dealers price by far ! Marques is the go to!

    I absolutely love Andrew n Markos. They stuck with me through a wreck n getting the right numbers and took a part from another car for me.They are the best , even called while I was in hospital to check on me..     I met Andrew when I was looking for a used truck, he offered me some options in Chevrolet, but when I told him I would really prefer a Ford, he quickly got me into contact with Romeo Ford and worked with the sales team there to get me into the truck I wanted. Excellent service and selfless dedication to the customer even if it meant he didn’t get the sale himself. Top notch professionalism!!

  • Horrible Customer Service, Horrible Mechanics Except One

    My wife and I had an issue with Romeo a few months back which was handled by Patty who was great.. I removed that review where I gave 3 stars and now I have another issue and this review won’t be removed… I was there Saturday 10/12 to have new tires put on my truck (2021 Chevy Silverado 1500 Custom Trailboss). We waited were there for 3 hours.. Upon leaving, the tires were not balanced and the none of the 4 tires were seated on the rim at all.. We called mechanic Johnny on his day off (he’s great by the way) and he told us to bring back Monday and not to drive it. I then brought my truck back on Monday and upon arriving, everyone in service knew why we were there as Johnny advised them of the issue. I was there for 2 hours while they had someone else (not Johnny) fix the issue. Upon arriving home, I noticed my rims had multiple and digs in them that were not there when I brought it to them originally.. I called and asked to speak to a manager. I spoke with Manager Matt over the phone and he said that the damage could not have possibly been them as they use a touchless system and blamed me for the scratches and digs in my rims.. I’m not looking for anything out of this. I am no longer purchasing anymore vehicles from Romeo although Chris in sales is great and no longer bringing my vehicle to Romeo although mechanic Johnny is the only one from now on allowed to work on mine and my wife’s vehicles. This place is a waste of your time. Also, it should be noted that as it took them 3 hours on Saturday to put new tires on my truck that wasn’t even done right, there another gentleman that waited 3 hours just for an oil change.. an oil change! 3 hours for an oil change?? He had an appointment at 9am and didn’t leave until after noon! Won’t be back, I want nothing to do with this place.

    I brought my truck in for its 50k checkup. Juan Rosa and the technician were very helpful in letting me know what service was required and what the rates were. I was very pleased with the work and time it took to take care of what was needed. I’ll definitely head back there for any future work needed.

    Marcus was wonderful to deal with. He was great at communicating during the whole purchasing of our vehicle. He went above and beyond picking us up at the airport staying late to finalize the deal and even followed up with us a couple days later on how it was working out for us.     What a painless process this was! Marcus found me the exact truck I wanted and never gave up on it. We had spoken a couple months prior and called me out of the blue to let me know he found me my dream truck. It was good to deal with someone that prides themselves on professionalism.   • Disappointed

    Brought me new truck to have my door repaired that was damaged when I picked up my new truck and get an oil change. Your dealership put 100 miles on my truck while it was there. Sean the service manager could not give me a legitimate reason and then stated “ I don’t know what else you want me to tell you”. This was after waiting 3 months to get this appointment. Very disappointed.

    I have to say my experience at Romeo did not start as a positive one. However, once I connected with Jason Peterson, Parts Manager, everything turned around. He provided excellent customer service, developed a remedy to the issue with my 2015 Acadia and connected me with a different Service Advisor, Bobby Leichter. Bobby brings many years of on hand experience in the industry. He therefore was able to explain exactly what was being done to my vehicle and provided me with status updates during my visit. Both men provided top notch customer service..... A job well done !! Romeo should be proud to have both Jason and Bobby on their team.

  • Poor Service

    I took my car into Romeo Chevy to get the engine service light corrected. They told me that the problem was corrected for $1000. When I took the car home, my code reader indicated that I had a permanent code, and the check engine light returned. I took the car back to Romeo and again they said that they had corrected the problem – this time for $650. Before I left, I showed them that my code reader still had a permanent code, and they said that I should drive for 100 miles to see if the code cleared. The next day the engine service light illuminated, so I called to schedule an appointment. They said that they could not schedule an appointment for another month. I asked to speak to a manager and was forwarded to an answering machine. As of this writing, I have not heard from him. I called the Chevy corporate office who said that they would contact the dealer, but it is a privately owned entity. I cannot get my Chevy to pass inspection.

  • So good, and so bad…..

    Well certain aspects of this dealership were phenomenal. Steve the finance manager was epic. All car sales representatives should be modeled after him. And Ashley the sales girl was amazing. These two saved the deal. Because oh boy…… Well even though Edmunds said my trade in was worth $7,300, the [non-permissible content removed] used car person offered me an insulting $4,000. Then tried to look like a hero and offer me a $500 rebate THAT WAS ALREADY OFFERED TO ME!! It KILLED me to shake his limp hand….. Had I not driven two hours to seek out the truck I wanted, I would have left as soon as he opened his yap… Now as far as the truck goes….. it’s stunning! My dream car!! Except the back lift gate opens when it wants to…. I was assured it was fixed when I left…. So now I need to burden a dealership local to me to get it fixed. But again, the only reason this deal was made because of Steve and Ashley!! A rocking duo!!

    I have never had a better experience buying a car in my life!!! My brother had his heart set on a particular truck that had a great price but we were from out of state. Everyone we spoke to was so pleasant and helpful, but Troy Chadwell went absolutely above and beyond for us. He answered every question, sent us pictures of the vehicle, and was always reachable. Steve Vitiello was tremendous getting all the paperwork finalized by the time we got there, and thoroughly explained each document, which we were so appreciative of. There were no hidden fees or surprises, no one pressured or deceived us, and it almost felt too good to be true. Not only were we able to drive home the truck the same day to avoid multiple long drives, we were in and out in less than ONE HOUR, with a full tank of gas. That is just unheard of in my experience. Apparently car shopping doesn’t have to be painful, you just have to go to the right place. I truly can’t say enough great things about Romeo Chevrolet Buick GMC, and I will happily make the drive again to purchase my next vehicle.

    I enjoyed my experience with the salesman, Kincaid Smith.l, when purchasing a 2023 Chevy Bolt. He was very respectful, no pressure, no overt sales pitches which was refreshing! Especially when as a woman, can be intimidating or just plain rude. Kincaid was very knowledgeable about the Bolt lineup. I am now a happy owner of a Bolt EUV Yay!!!!🤗

    I can't thank George and his team at Romeo GMC enough. I drove over an hour and a half to use them because they are the most professional and courteous team I ever dealt with. I happened to call George on his day off, and he still went out of his way to help me out. The sale process was smooth and honest. You have to use them if you are in the market for a GMC, Buick or Chevrolet!!
