    The North Shore Honda dealership is always a pleasure to do business with. The sales staff are so friendly and courteous and are always very patient in the process. Harold W. showed me all of the new features in the 2013 Accord and gave me a very good price with my budget in mind. Eddie H. make the paperwork process go so smoothly and always keeps me informed every step of the way. I would definitely recommend buying a vehicle from this dealership.

    My wife and went shopping for a new car starting in Sept 2013.We wnet to Toyota,Honda,Car max and more dealers here in Charlotte NC.After a week or two we were frustrated and very apprehensive about the whole sales process.We had leased and purchased many cars before so it was really not a new thing to us but we just got fed up with the process and put it on hold for awhile.Then in April we decide to try again,we had a 2005 Honda Pilot with 193000 miles on it to trade in.Many dealers here in NC gave us a trade in price of 3000 dollars and told us that with our credit history it would be impoossible to get us in a lease with Honda.We met Phil through a friend and told him our situation and he said he would be able to put us in a lease that would be suitable for our needs and within our financial limits.He and the staff at North Shore Honda were true to their word.They got us into the CRV that we wanted ,and some extra perks,with the payments we were looking for and did it so pain free that we drove from Charlotte NC to Long Island NY to trade in our Pilot,which they gave us 500 dollars more for than the dealers in NC had offered.We will now be traveling back to New York to get our vehicles from our friends at North Shore Honda.     I recently purchased a 2014 Honda Civic coupe from North Shore Honda & my experience with both the sales manager, Phill H & sales associate, Jack, was outstanding from start to finish. Anyone looking to buy a car from a dealer with no pressure or nonsense should definitely go see these guys! Their word is good, there were no hassles & the car was delivered immaculately.

    A pleasure to purchase a car!!!!!!!!! This is my 3rd car I have purchased from North Shore Honda. I have had John S for my salesman on all 3 cars. I have had John on all 3 cars because he has never but any pressure on me to buy the car. He is a very experienced salesman that helps you out in any way he can. For me a car is a big purchase that should be enjoyable experience without stress. I have gone into other dealerships to look at cars and 5 people approach you like hawks. They all say they can do this price with these options and then you go to sign papers and it's all different numbers sometimes $200 more then they quoted you. That was before I met John and all the people at North Shore Honda since the first car I have purchased from them around 5 years ago all I have to do now is go see John he tells me about what the car will cost. After that I go to finance department and the numbers are what John estimated what they would be. I sign the papers and an hour later I am out the door in my new car without all the games other dealerships play. Every time on my way home I find myself saying to my wife that's how it should be buying a new car Fun without stress. And while we wait for the car to be prepared for us we always have fun talking with the people at North Shore Honda. Let's just say I will be buying all my cars from North Shore Honda in the future and a note to John please do not retire for awhile because we enjoy the car buying experience with you. I rate North Shore Honda and John 5 out of 5 Stars. By the way I love my new Civic Si Sedan. Thanks for everything Michael M.

    I had recently stopped into the North Shore Honda dealership with interest in a used car hoping to trade in my Toyota Prius. After speaking with my parents we thought that maybe I should be looking into a new car instead, so we walked into the dealership and were greeted by Harold who was very nice and eager to help, he sat us down and went over the pros of purchasing a new car as well as informing me of the warranty for a new car and the types of services offered with the new car. After going over some numbers and discussing what i may possibly receive for my trade in value I felt that if i were to purchase the new car the leasing option would be right for me. I came in a few days later, again greeted with a smile by Harold to put the deposit down for the new Honda Accord as well as to get the Prius appraised. Harold was kind enough to offer me a test drive where i was able to ask some more detailed questions about the car, in which he was very informative. I came back later that night to work out the last of the paper work and was then introduced to Eddie for the finance end. Eddie was so kind and friendly the entire time to my parents and I, I felt so comfortable to ask him any question i had. After spending about an hour with Eddie i felt that my family had just made a new friend, making my first car purchase very comfortable and less stressful. I feel that the North Shore Honda dealership is one of the best i have personally dealt with, being a young girl going into a car dealership alone to ask about a car i never once felt pushed to purchase or belittled for being a girl. The entire experience was easy and enjoyable, I would recommend this dealership as well as mention both Harold and Eddie for anyone in search of a new car. I am proud to say i am a first time car owner and couldn't be happier with my decision thanks to everyone involved at the North Shore Honda.

    This dealership is full of [violative content deleted] and a finance person (Karl) that doesn't know what he is doing. Never walk into this dealership... you will regret it! They will ruin your credit, overprice, and hold your deposit. Who takes two weeks to say they can't help you!? These Complete [violative content deleted] Do!!!!

    My experience at North Shore Honda was great! Everybody was very polite and super helpful. The salesman were not pushy or high pressure at all. Brian, the Finance Manger, was REALLY helpful. Also, their service hours are accommodating as well because they are open 7 days a week.

    North Shore Honda For Life I recently leased a 2014 Honda Pilot from North Shore Honda. My experience could not have been more positive. The circumstances surrounding my lease were unique, to say the least. Two days prior to my lease (and me turning in my 2011 Pilot), my car was hit in a parking lot. The staff at North Shore Honda reassured me through the very stressful process, honored the commitments that they made, and made the process move extremely smoothly. The service department took care of my old car and worked with my insurance company. Their goal was to just get me in a new car with minimal stress for me - they took care of everything. Without question, I felt welcomed and valued. It was very clear to me that my business meant a lot to the staff at North Shore Honda. In fact, I happened to meet the North Shore Honda Service Manager in passing who said to me, "Welcome to the family." That means a lot and I'm going to return the favor -- I will stay North Shore Honda in the future and I live 2 hours away, passing 6 or 7 other Honda dealers along the way! Phill H., the new sales manager, has been our "guy" for three years now. Moving to North Shore Honda recently, we followed. We were luck enough to be paired by Phill to Barry S. who processed my lease (and my wife's, on the same day -- I'm sure she will write as well!). Barry made us feel right at home, made sure each of our needs was attended to, and that everything ran smoothly. He's a kind and knowledgable salesman - fair and honest! The Honda product speaks for itself. But Barry and Phill spoke for North Shore Honda loudly. They turned my family (and anyone who will listen) into North Shore Honda customers and we're not looking back.

    From start to finish this was an excellent car buying experience. Michael was friendly, helpful and informative without being "pushy". This laid back approach was a welcome experience compared to just about every other car buying experience we have had through the years. We first went there on a Sunday afternoon and although they didn't have the CRV model we were looking for onsite, they located one for us and we drove away on Wednesday. JP communicated with us regularly as we were deciding on payment details and new vs. transfer of plates making the process smooth and easy. Barry took the time to touch base with us as well, making us feel welcomed and valued. Without hesitation we would return here and would recommend the dealership to others who want to avoid double-talk and pressure. Great experience North Shore Honda!

    Initially I got not a good deal and everything was in haste but later finance manger Eddie and sales person Micheal helped me and gave a good deal . At last I am very happy with my car and experience , I hope my service experience will be good as we'll . Best dealership in Long Island .
    • Some money just detected from my account. When I searched , I knew that it was the money they took from my first finance deal , which I canceled . When I called the finance manager , he shouted on me and ask question which I don't know . Guys it was the worst experience of my life . I will not recommend you to go to that dealership , even not a new car , just buy a old car with out any finance problem .

    • So here is the update, I called intellipayment , they told me that they will re deposited my money back to my account. I also sent an e mail for cofirmation and documentation. I will recommend you all to read each and every paper very carefully before signing. Sales people push you but take your time and read , ask questions, use interest calculator, if not sure halt the deal and come back next day , but do not rush to sign any thing.

    Have been a customer of NS Honda for close to 20 years. Their attention to customer service is unparalleled. From Harold in sales to Jack and Carlo in service, I haven't had a situation that was not resolved to my satisfaction. When our '04 CRV blew its A/C condenser last year, requiring the complete replacement of the A/C system, Carlo was able to convince the corporate office that they should honor a just expired recall notice as I was a preferred customer. Those efforts saved me over $2000 in repair costs. They may not be the cheapest dealership around, but as the saying goes "you get what you pay for" and the slight difference in price is more than made up for by their continued efforts well after the contract is signed. I made the mistake of buying a car elsewhere once and vowed never to make that mistake again.

    This is the second CRV I purchased from North Shore Honda. I was so satisfied with the service and knew I would get the same again so I decided to purchase a 2014 from them. My fist one is a 2002 and I still have it with 182,000 miles.

    I have a 2003 Accord that was serviced at North Shore for several years when living in Nassau County. My husband and I moved to Suffolk and attempted to have the car serviced by Nardy (to no avail). We were not expecting a 4 day wait (for it to go undiagnosed) and a $100 per hour charge for the mechanics to diagnose the problem (at our expense). This was unfortunate for Nardy- as shortly thereafter, we had to replace the Accord (since it was unusable) with a brand new Prius. Since we did enjoy the Accord, we did eventually bring it to North Shore (over 1 hour away) since we had a history of service with them. The sales and service staff were incredibly accommodating and kind. The problem was diagnosed in one hour! This was remarkable! I'm not sure how two Honda dealerships have such a difference in quality mechanics/service but it is true. I will always continue to service my Honda at North Shore Honda even though it is an hour away from my home. It is worth the piece of mind. So happy that North Shore Honda is honest, respectable and does not charge customers outrageous prices.

    My experiences at North Shore Honda have been so outstanding I countinue to buy my cars there for this very reason. I have been a customer since 2002, leasing then purchasing my last three cars from them. I am not as much a Honda enthusiast as I am a loyal patron of North Shore Honda. I am always treated with the highest degree of courtesy and the gentlemen consistently try and find ways to save me money while keeping my car in tip top shape. I am so thoroughly happy there that to be honest, whatever they are selling I am buying!

    I got a Edmund price promise for a honda accord sport from Northshore Honda. I spoke to both Dave and Corey on two separate occasions to make sure that the price was valid. On both occasions I was insured that the price is valid and the only other charges that would apply to the price promise would be taxes and dmv. Which is what I was expecting. So obviously I was excited and made an appointment to go in to buy the car. Of course I was in the dealership and once I spoke to the sales person about the deal, he immideiately said this wouldnt be valid, but he would confirm with his manager. And obviously the manager said the price isnt valid and that I would have to pay another $800 for destination charges. So when I told them that their own people told me otherwise, the managers reply was that it was a mistake and that they wouldnt hold true to their word or the price promise. So of course like any other person, I left the dealership. So a few days later I checked online to see if that price was still valid, because I got a email from Edmunds saying that my price promise is set to expire. So when I check online both on Edmunds and NSHonda's website, that car is no longer online. Why am I not surprised?? So told, I get a call from the same sales person, Barry, just a while ago, who said they cant give that price and wont even give me the price that was quoted at the dealership (Price promise + destination). He stated that they quoted the wrong car. This is [non-permissible content removed]. Al though the car isnt online if you type in the VIN # (which I have) on google you will see that the car is a sport, and the link is to their website! But Barry simply kept stating that he wouldnt be able to accept that deal and that I would have to check the price online. I even told him that I would buy the car including the destination price if he would honor his and his managers word. However, Barry was kept saying they cant lose money and since I walked out that they wouldnt honor their price. This isnt the 1st time this has happened with this dealership. I was looking into cars in late 2013 and had a similar quote for the same sport model. And I still have this quote printed with VIN #. When went into the dealership I was given the same excuse that this was the wrong model and that they wouldnt be able to match that price. Luckily I wasnt a serious buyer and I didnt think twice about it. However, since this has happened to me again, I just looked online and that car is till online and it is a sport model. I must say, they have a nice way of getting you into the dealership and then getting away with not holding true to their word. But this doesnt surprise me. I would understand that if I tried to bring in another dealerships # and they said they couldnt match that. But this was their own quote and confirmed multiple times. This over all expeirence with this dealership has been horrible. I was willing to accept the $800 fee if only they held true to their own word. I'm also very disappointment with Edmunds for not having a way to hold these people accountable. I'm going to post this review on as many websites as possible so I can get my word out.
    • The bottom line is we made a mistake on our pricing and we were going to honor the price you had plus destination which by the way is in the disclosure on every price promise but you walked away from that deal. You then called a few days later wanting the deal and we said it was too late that deal was only good for that day. Im very sorry things did not work out and would love to work out a fair and comparable deal that will make you happy. please call me at 516 676-2290x101 Thanks Dave, GM

    My new Accord, my new Dealer I just recently leased my third Honda Accord, this time a 2014. I had worked with Phill H. as a salesman for my second and followed him to his new home as sales manager at North Shore Honda. This time, I worked with Barry S. and I am just as happy! I have always been a Honda lover - the product is high-quality and dependable. What has made me committed to North Shore Honda is the personal approach and caretaking that are so obviously important to them. From the moment I walked in and started working with Barry, to the moment I pulled off the lot, everything was perfect. My needs were met, my budget was respected, my questions answered, and my business was appreciated! What more can you ask for as a customer? I live nearly two hours away on the east end of Long Island and I will pass numerous Honda dealerships on the way to North Shore Honda, some in my own backyard. But, North Shore made certain to let me know that I was welcomed and appreciated. That goes a long way these days. I consider Barry and Phill friends and will not only be getting my future Hondas from North Shore, but telling anyone in the market who will listen to get there ASAP.
