    Did a search on true value and stopped by Gen Kia first. The salesperson Johan was knowledgeable and helpful right up to the sales manager. The staff reached out numerous times after purchase to check on how the purchase went and new promotions /specials. If your shopping a new Kia give them call.

    Rating: -10 Stars My experience with this dealership was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. After contacting them about a vehicle and confirming its availability multiple times on June 18, 2024, I made a 2.5-hour drive to Bohemia, NY. Throughout the journey, I received calls from various personnel, including Jeff, assuring me the vehicle was still available. Upon arrival, I met with Carlos Johnson, the salesperson I had been in contact with. After a test drive, I was ready to negotiate, only to be told by Carlos that the vehicle had been sold. The reason given was that another customer had supposedly placed a deposit while I was on the test drive—a claim that I find incredibly dishonest. This experience has left me deeply disappointed and I would strongly caution others against dealing with this dealership due to their unscrupulous and misleading practices.

    I am a 5th time returning customer at Generation Kia. They really do the right thing. There is no bs and straight to the point. The sales team are the most upfront and honest group I have ever met. The give you the true value of your car for trade in and they sell a lot of cars cause they know how to do business. If u want a car with great service Generation Kia is where u should go. Our salesman Don helped us out tremendously, he got our monthly payments lower then expected. He was sincere and helped anyway he could. We appreciate everything the whole team did for us. They have such a friendly staff from sales to finance. We enjoined our experience and will only go there to purchase pre-owned cars. Thanks again Generation Kia you will have me for life!!!! Mike A.

    Customer service does not exist anymore; the sales associate I dealt with today was immature, unprofessional, and rude. I was told That I have champagne taste with beer money and was told the price is the price and there is no negotiations. Mind you the car I was looking at was below 20,000 and nothing fancy. I felt I was willing to go as high as I could afford (living on Long Island) and I was told no not good enough and that there was nothing else this unprofessional sales associate could do. Also when we were being shown the car he was smoking his vape cigarette and when we left he did not even shake my hand as I thanked him for all his time.

    Generation Kia has lied, scammed, and robbed me for a full year. I bought a used vw rabbit from them last February. The salesperson who sold me the car dismissed my concerns about the slight transmission issues on the test drive. I fell for the lies and bought the car. Within one week of having the car I had to bring it back to them to be fixed. No rental cars available for me, I missed out on work. They "fixed" the issue. Issue resurfaced again not too long after and I brought it back. Still no rentals available (promised when I bought the car) Another BS fix to try to go around the warranty / spending money on fixing the issue. What do you know? The issue gets WORSE . Third time bringing the car in for the same transmission issue and they do another BS fix (after this many attempts all you do is fix a leak in the tranny seal? That should be the first check) they tell me it's all fixed and I get the car weeks later and as I drive it three exits down it's at the worst it's ever been. Worse than when I dropped it off. I turn right around and brought it back. It has now been almost two months exactly since I brought it in. They sent it to VW to be fixed and the people at vw said that they were waiting for an OK from Kia to fix an issue to get to the real main fix of the problem. I guess Kia never fixed those issues because I just got a call my cars ready and all they did was flush the tranny fluid this time. Two months to flush tranny fluid? DO NOT SHOP HERE. ITS A NIGHTMARE. Their service techs are getting fired left and right and they do not communicate with you at all. No phone calls no updates no care.

    On Friday 19, 2018, I had an appointment to test drive one of the pre-owned cars at Generation Kia in Bohemia, NY. Because I wasn’t test driving a Kia; I thought I might not get the same treatment as a Kia customer. Nothing could be further from the truth. Upon my arrival, Luigi Ciorra greeted me as if I were going to buy one of the high-end Kia’s. Luigi was professional, friendly and willing to answer all the questions I had, and I had a lot. When he didn’t know the answer, he would jot down the question and when he had a few questions, he would excuse himself to get the answers. He spent quite a bit of time with me because the department that preps the cars for the test drives took an unusually long time to get the car ready. That is to say, it took 45 minutes from the time I arrived to get to test drive the car. Had Luigi not been so engaging, I would not have been able to endure the delay. If you plan to do business with Generation Kia, I would recommend you ask for the salesperson, Luigi Ciorra. Lynda

    I was shopping for a new truck & stopped into Kia in Bohemia & was warmly greeted by Don Polizzi. He showed several different trucks & I narrowed it down to 2 that I liked. The first one I test drove turned out to be not the one for me...too mannish .!Then Don let me drive the Kia Sorento which I immediately fell in love with !! The sale of the vehicle couldn’t have gone any smoother. Don is a great salesman, funny & answered all our questions to to T. Afterwards, I had the pleasure of meeting General Sales Manager George K. What a gentleman he is. I had some questions for him & he bent backwards going out of his way to accommodate me. I would absolutely, without a second thought, recommend Bohemia Kia to everyone I know. Nancy Prianti

    My name is Maricela Ortega, My sales person was Mackenzie Gallo and Juan Carlos. My husband Angelo and I just purchased a 2018 Kia Soul and they both were great. They answer all our questions straight forward, they were very patient and honest with us. I truly recommend both for your future car purchases.

    Sometimes its hard to get a hold of someone there when calling. I went to look for a pre-owned they had advertised on their site. Not only did I get a well spoken sales person but someone that was opened to listening to what I was looking for. Very friendly and helpful salesman "Mark Bonilla". I highly recommend him. Cool, Calm & Collective. Help me from start to finish. After a walk through their showroom you can tell this dealership moves volume. Very clean and well maintained. Mark was very professional and would highly highly recommend you see him too. I am very happy with my purchase and I am sure you will be too after you speak with him. I drove a distance both times, I will do it again if I have to.

    I purchased a Certified Pre-Owned 2015 Kia Sorento with less than 30K miles from Generation Kia in Oct. A month later the engine blew up while I was on the freeway at night in NC and I had it towed to the nearest dealer, who told me a complete lack of maintenance caused engine sludge and a new engine would be needed. However, the NC dealer said the master database had no information that the car was certified. I called Generation Kia who said it was indeed certified but over a week of my repeated inquiries and phone calls has been unable to provide any proof of certification. I spoke with Sales Manager George, Service Manager Luann, and someone in service named Manny. Now they are ignoring me completely and won't return my calls. They know MY FAMILY'S ONLY CAR IS IN A DIFFERENT STATE IN LIMBO AND THEY DON'T CARE. I called Kia Corporate today and gave them the VIN. They don't have records that it's certified either. I was also initially told by Luann in the Generation Service Dept that her manager said to email her my emergency hotel, car rental and Uber receipts and I would be reimbursed, which I did but so far there has been no follow up or refund. I will update this review once I have resolution one way or another. ** For helping me not have a nervous breakdown, I'd like to thank KIA Corporate, who has opened an escalation case for this, and also my employer's attorney service (an awesome benefit), who said the main businesses they sue on behalf of clients are car dealerships. Which I find both funny and sad.

    My wife and I had been through the ringer with car dealers for over a month. Then she made an appointment at Generation KIA. They were completely different. Steven, gave us all the time we needed for our test drive, actually over half an hour. He then gave us time to look around some more because we really didn't like that car. There was absolutely no pressure. He was polite, patient, and knowledgeable. He never tried to double talk us or push us into something we didn't want. We test drove the second car ,again for over half an hour, and my wife loved it. Here's the great part, we got a fair price for our trade in, and they did their best to work within our budget. Steven went to George (the sales GM) and they worked it out. We bought the car on the spot. They walked us through every step with patients and a smile. We will never go anywhere else. I f you need a new or used car, give them a try, and see Steven. I am sure you will have the same experience.

    Alex is a great salesman. He assisted me with finding the car that I've been wanting for years. He was able to relate to the car and was very informative. I know Alex will continue to be a great salesman here at Generation Kia. I have no doubt he will continue to do an excellent job.

    I priced out the KIA Optima EX and by far Autoworld KIA had the best selection and price. My car sales consultant Matthew Olive took my wife and I for a test drive, answered all our questions and made the decision to purchase a heck of a lot easier than my previous car purchase experiences. Upon delivery of the car, Matthew spent as much time as we needed to go over all the features of our new Optima EX. This really helped put us at ease with our new car before driving off for the very first time. Matt knows the KIA car line inside and out. I'd recommend him highly to anyone I know for a car purchase or lease-THANKS Matt!

    Terrible experience! I will warn any/all friends, neighbors, co-workers, etc. to stay far away from this dealership. They worked out a deal that my son could do to stay within his budget, then at the last minute, they changed his loan from the agreed upon 60 months, to a 72 month loan, at the same monthly payment! So now the vehicle will end up costing him over $4,000 more than he agreed to. Worst car buying experience ever!

    I was at generation Kia yesterday and I used to sell cars the salesman that helped me gentleman's name is Kyle was phenomenal he had the right approach the perfect attitude he was definitely going to make a sale and I knew that within the first 10 minutes and I am a car salesman with over 18 years experience he went over the vehicle perfectly has to get my friend interested in the vehicle he has a very tactful but subtle approach he was very personable and probably one of the most impressive salespersons that I've seen in a long time he could definitely set an example for the younger generation of ssalesI feel that generation Kia is extremely extremely lucky to have a Salesman like Kyle

    I've had my 2008 kia sportage for two years. I get every oil change, tire rotation, etc at the bohemia location. I had my last oil change this past Friday July 29th. It will also be my last!!!! This was the third screw up. The first screw up they never replaced my oil cap. Luckily no major damage was done and yes they replaced it and gave me two free oil changes. The next issue the cord that pulls open the hood was pulled out. They never told me nor replaced it, I had to. This past Friday I dropped off my car and was told 1 1/2 hours to have the old change. I never received a call and came back 2 1/2 hours later to be told "Only a few more minutes". Well another 1/2 hour later and still nothing I went to the service man and told him to please forget my complimentary car wash and just give me the car as it's over 3 hours already. My car was done about 15 minutes after that. I drove the car home. About two hours later I started my car to go out again and the back pipes were smoking as if it was on fire. Luckily my brother in law who is a mechanic was there and looked as I told him the only thing I had done was an oil change. Come to find they NEVER emptied the old oil. They did however ADD the new oil on top of it so there was about 3x's the amount there should've been. This is ridiculous. Three strikes and you are out. I'm so disappointed as I love my Kia and have always felt the staff there is very pleaseant and courtious but i'm done!!!! I will no longer go to your dealership for my care nor will I be recommending it. I did not waste my time calling and complaining as what's the point???

    Great experience all round......special thanks to my sales rep Patty and service rep Luann. They were extremely knowledgeable and just all around helpful in all aspects. Always cheerful and made you feel right at home. I felt very comfortable purchasing my 3rd vehicle from them.

    I received a call from the dealership the next day after I brought them the bill from Kia Finance. We agreed to go through the inspection report line by line and agreed on a settlement that made it easier to pay off Kia Finance. (We agreed to pay for a lost key and we split the rest of the wear and tear discrepancies ) - so I would like to change the star rating to 4 stars and they did not renege after all the documentation was reviewed the next day

We agreed to go through the inspection report line by line and agreed on a settlement that made it easier to pay off Kia Finance.     Oh my gosh, I dont know what to say. I went to KIA in East meadow, NY on Friday June 10, 2016, expecting to be turned down for a car and a trade in. Well was i completely wrong. The Saleperson Gregg and the rest of staff were soo friendly. Given my situation with bad credit and currently going through cancer, they didn't shun me but welcomed me and helped out sooo much. They even told me what i need to do it to fix my credit, what car dealership does that. I will be more then happy to refer friends and family or anyone who will listen to go them..I cant thank Gregg (sales person) and Joe (manager) for all they have done for me, they made me who is going through a very difficult time a little brighter...go to them you will not be disappointed at all...

About our dealership
