Professional and very courteous staff
by James Barry on 07/08/2024Recently I had to return (again) to Lia Hyundai of Albany with my vehicle. There is no other Service Technician Representative besides Michael Carpenter that I would rather deal with. As soon as called and I notified of him of my problem,… he immediately scheduled me to return the vehicle to him and he worked behind the scenes with Hyundai Management on my Engine Malfunction for more than the 6th time!! Mike Carpenter, has ALWAYS gone above and beyond to address and attenpt to correct the many problems with my car engine.James, thank you for taking a moment to share positive feedback on Mike. He and the dealership worked with us over the phone on a car and the price since we live an hour away from the dealership. Their professionalism and lack of… pushiness in the stressful car-buying ordeal was comforting. They found a common ground on a fair price and we did not have to deal with the "dance" of buying a car. by Gil on 02/15/2024After narrowing my choices to 3 top makers and models, I test drove the three, and without reserve I settled on the Hyundai Tucson SEL. I was looking for a quiet ride, AWD, roomy interior with ample cargo space and a GPS system. The Tucson… checked all the boxes plus it combined a sturdy feeling and classy look that the other 2 lacked. With a top warranty and reliability rating that matches or exceeds the competition, it was an easy choice. I liked the ethnic diversity of the agency. There were no pressure tactics at any point. I got a very competitive trade in offer, and the price I wanted on the new car. My salesman, Shawn Vital, was very helpful and patient explaining any unfamiliar new accesories. The 35 mile ride home did not disappoint and gave me plenty of opportunity to enjoy the quiet interior and to get the feel of car. I have a good feeling about this car, and Im going to enjoy not poring through piles of specs and surveys to find my next car for a while.Thank you for this absolutely amazing review, Gil! I knew what I wanted to look at and hopefully test drive. I had some questions about the… car and Shawn knew the answer to everything right off the top of his head. I was amazed. He didn’t need to refer to any handbooks. Working with Shawn was a delight. We handled everything quite quickly. I hate the game of negotiating when buying a car but with Shawn we managed to come to an agreement easily. He wanted to make this happen and worked with me. Two days later I had my car. Shawn made sure everything was ready for me. I know he will be there as a resource of support, should it be necessary during my lease of this car. Before I left, Shawn introduced me to the service department and showed me the entire facility. It’s the kind of place where one can relax and read while the car is in for service. I couldn’t be any happier for choosing to work with this dealership and by the luck of the draw, to have Shawn as my salesman.Thank you so much for your amazing review!
