The Great Service Department at Subaru World of Newton
by Tom Butter on 07/02/2025I recently visited the Service Department at Subaru World of Newton for what I believe is my 11th time. Marc, my service advisor, was very well organized. He pulled up my service history and described in very clear terms the requirements… for the 96,000 mi. service on my Forester. He also squeezed me into an early morning slot ahead of time. Marc noted certain previous maintenance steps already taken, gave me an estimate of the cost. He sent me a video of my Subaru in the shop, with the technician who was doing the work narrating. The tech showed the uneven wear on my tires and explained why I needed a wheel alignment. The whole process was clear, and very thorough. Marc's estimate of both the cost and the time necessary for the job were accurate. In fact my service was completed ahead of time! At the end of the visit Marc gave me a summary of the very thorough inspection and service the technicians provided. I am very satisfied with the entire process and would recommend Subaru World of Newton as being a honest, thorough, and friendly Subaru dealer for all aspects of both purchasing and servicing a Subaru.Tom, we're delighted to hear about your positive experience with Marc and the service team at Subaru World of Newton. He called me within an hour and said my car was ready. I was provided written detail about what was… completed and checked. This is my 2nd car I purchased from. Took awhile for parts

Fortunately we were provided a loaner car but it did take a very long time for part to come in. I would recommend this dealership great staff 5… stars based on the interaction with the staff. Best service department around!

Edgardo,the service technician, is very thorough and knowledgeable and definitely an asset to your dealership! Other dealerships make you wait… forever, and never know where you stand. However the service department told me to take about an hour and it xactly did. Quick oil change

My only complaint was that they claimed to apply a discount coupon, only to end up paying the same… as the usual price.Thank you for sharing your experience with us at Subaru World of Newton. Service above and beyond for a simple oil change

Who likes waiting around while your car's oil is changed? Not me but the team at Subaru World of Newton tries to… make your wait time as comfortable as possible. A+ experience even when the install took a big longer time. The biggest minus is the very bad selection of TV… channels during the wait.
