Expensive repair
by Anita on 05/20/2024They worked with a fused and the starter and I was charged 1500 for everything. The cost of the starter was in the upper 4hundred and almos 1000 on labor. I needed to used my savings and ask for a loan. They never offered a payment plan… and I also asked for one.Anita, I'm sorry to learn about the financial strain this situation has caused. Very disappointed

Solved a tricky problem - good job!
by Skip Tarrant on 01/24/2024We did not buy our Subaru Forester at Subaru World of Newton, but they are now the closest dealer to us, so that's where we took it with a problem. The passenger's air bag light always said "Off" even when someone was sitting in that seat.… We were concerned that the air bag was not working properly, so off to the dealership we went. They provided a courtesy car for the duration of the time they spent working on our car, which ended up being almost four weeks! They even got some Subaru engineers involved in looking for the solution to this issue. They did get it fixed and explained to us what had to be replaced. Happily, they also honored the extended warranty we got from Subaru when we bought this vehicle, so all we were out of pocket was the small deductible. The staff at Subaru World were friendly and professional throughout this process and were a pleasure to deal with. We will be back when/if our Forester needs their attention.We're glad to have been able to assist with your Subaru Forester's airbag issue. It was important for us at Subaru World of Newton that you felt confident and secure in the solution we provided, even if it took a bit longer than expected! Everyone is very helpful, and courteous. Our sales representative Kyle Hunziger went above and beyond for us, and… took care of a couple of very minor issues with the car without us even asking.
