Lucas Does It Again! (In a good way)

The only minor complaint from this visit is the didn't wash my car. This may have been due to the… construction. by firedude69 on 08/18/2014My 2014 Chevrolet Silverado had a couple of recalls that needed to be performed so I contacted Gene at Lucas Chevrolet and scheduled my vehile for it's second oil change and to have the recalls fixed. While it was at the dealer, my salesman… (Ryan G) noticed a defect with my front bumper and brought my service rep Gene out to have a look at it. Gene K agreed that it was indeed a defect and had my bumper replaced at no additional charge under warranty. During this entire process, Ryan let me use his vehicle so I wouldn't have to miss work while my vehicle was being repaired. It's people like Ryan and Gene that make every experience for me at Lucas Chevrolet a good one. I hope these surveys are actually reviewed by upper management because Ryan and Gene are the reasons for these high ratings and should be recognized for their outstanding customer service. Could not ask for a better Sales Team! A+++
by gsharp on 12/30/2007Bravo to this great bunch of people! I had visit many dealerships looking to be treated fairly, most dealers failed. My team at Lucas was internet Sales man (Josh) and the in-house Sales man (John) and both men were incredible! My… experience started with e-mails back and forth with Josh. No playing games, very honest and up front with his communications. I came down to Lumberton (which was a very long drive) and met with John. He let me test drive many models of the 2008 Chevy Equinox (the FWD Sport and the FWD LTZ with a few different packages) and he did not use the line... "All equinoxes drive the same". Then Josh searched the internet to locate the exact vehicle with all my required options. Not at any time did they try to make a deal with their on the lot inventory. I did my homework and they knew that, they did not waste any of my time. John gave me a price the first time around which was perfect, no pricing games, no insulting offers with the bottom line price. They never questioned me how I was paying for the vehicle or tried to push me into financing like some other dealers. Highly recommended and would definitely purchase from Lucas Chevy again!Great Sales Team

Ryan G. = People Person... Not a pushy Salesman

That was not the case with Ryan. He definitely, without a doubt made my experience… there a very positive one. He wasn't pushy, didn't come outside to me as soon as I started getting out of my vehicle like a vulture going after a fresh piece of road kill and didn't push me into a deal that I wasn't happy with. Instead he asked me what exactly I was looking for, took me for a test drive and worked with me over the next few days to help me achieve a payment I could afford. Ryan is an outstanding salesman and an asset to your organization. I hope he is still there when my lease is up so I can make another purchase through him. I will recommend Ryan to my friends as well as my family so they can have a pleasant experience like I did.Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. Ryan's ability to listen to client and meet their needs with low-pressure sales techniques make him an irreplaceable addition to our team. Unethical sales tactics
by 2013malibu on 07/03/2013updated 06/05/2025Im really surprised that a General Manager and Sales person at any dealership would stoop as low as they did at Lucas Chevrolet with my new car purchase, and I was a repeat customer ! My previous new car purchase several years before was… pleasant with Lou. I asked for him when I entered the showroom and was told he was off for the day, had I the foresight of the deceit I was in store for I would of left. I purchased @ MSRP/Sticker price so quite a profit was made on my sale between, invoice, holdback on MSRP, & resale of my trade. I resent having my car key's not returned to me after the Manager took the evaluation drive in my trade in so I could not leave the dealership ; then I find that the drivers side seat is pulled apart from the support frame and the manager tells me it was like that when he got in the car, when I asked if he would correct what he did, he stated "It's our car now, so calm down"....the sale was not closed on yet ! I was retained at this dealership for nearly 4 hours while these two conspired on how to bleed me. The salesperson had the nerve to tell me"he was only making fifty bucks from my sale after all the time he spent with me". 20 mins. test drive ?? Really??? We have several Chevrolet dealerships here in So. Jersey and I doubt if these same sales tactics are promoted in them. I hope that all the money you guy's made off of me was worth it to have a repeat customer sharing their new car buying experience at your dealership.SALES

When I Made My Choice it did not take long for me to close the deal with Lucas Chevrolet. I am very pleased with my experience with sales and all the team players at Lucas. Smooth sailing after a rocky start
