Dealership Sales Review
Im really surprised that a General Manager and Sales person at any dealership would stoop as low as they did at Lucas Chevrolet with my new car purchase, and I was a repeat customer ! My previous new car purchase several years before was pleasant with Lou. I asked for him when I entered the showroom and was told he was off for the day, had I the foresight of the deceit I was in store for I would of left. I purchased @ MSRP/Sticker price so quite a profit was made on my sale between, invoice, holdback on MSRP, & resale of my trade. I resent having my car key's not returned to me after the Manager took the evaluation drive in my trade in so I could not leave the dealership ; then I find that the drivers side seat is pulled apart from the support frame and the manager tells me it was like that when he got in the car, when I asked if he would correct what he did, he stated "It's our car now, so calm down"....the sale was not closed on yet ! I was retained at this dealership for nearly 4 hours while these two conspired on how to bleed me. The salesperson had the nerve to tell me"he was only making fifty bucks from my sale after all the time he spent with me". 20 mins. test drive ?? Really??? We have several Chevrolet dealerships here in So. Jersey and I doubt if these same sales tactics are promoted in them. I hope that all the money you guy's made off of me was worth it to have a repeat customer sharing their new car buying experience at your dealership.
