    I recently traded in my Lexus IS250 for an ES350. Deeply enjoyed the experience facilitated by the salesman Paul Vallejo. I found Paul to be professional, thorough, patient, and accommodating throughout the process. He tried to make my transaction work after hours and over a few days which was very convenient for me. Paul was helpful without being intrusive. Car is outstanding and I would highly recommend Paul and the team of ray Catena Lexus of Freehold to anyone looking to buy a car. Great job Paul Vallejo. Thank you for everything.

    I have been a customer of Ray Catena for many years and most recently leased my 4th car with them. I HIGHLY recommend anyone to visit them for a great car buying/leasing experience! and don't forget to ask for my sales guy, Paul Vallejo, he really made the experience even better!

    Entering dealership was the start of a good experience. Front desk people were welcoming and friendly. Meeting Paul Vallejo was even better. He is one professional sales person and me and my husband Dave really enjoyed his services. Paul went out of his way and did everything possible to make this sale smooth. After sale also he is constant keeping in touch and always there with a smile on his face all the time. Its welcoming place compare to our few months back with 2 other Lexus purchase at a different dealership. Thanks Anju and Dave

    If you're looking for a luxury vehicle at an affordable price check out Lexus of Freehold. Great service and better prices. My salesman Paul Vallejo did an excellent job in ensuring I get the car I wanted at a good price. I would highly recommend this dealership and salesman.

    This was my 4th experience with Ray Catena but my best experience by far. Paul Vallejo is the best. He did everything right, from getting me the best deal to the personal touches after I got my car. Definitely see him next time you need a car.

    THIS WAS MY FIRST LEASE EXPERIENCE (thankfully with Paul) - I got (literally) THE BEST deal in the tri-state are on my Lexus GS, not even the 3rd party dealers (with no overhead) could match the price that Paul came back with after a long battle. He literally fought till the end, most likely making pennies on the deal. He worked with the bank to get my "not excellent" credit approved so that I still had the best rate on the car. I would highly recommend dealing with Paul. He is quick, organized and highly professional. Stayed at work almost 3 hours late and made his co-workers stay late just so that I can make it to the dealership after work and have the car inspected/polished and paperwork all ready go. He also sat with me, carefully explaining every single aspect of the documents I was signing and taking home. Then, he explained every single button in the car. Overall, I had an AMAZING experience. Thank you so much Paul. Hope you make a killing this year. See you in 27 months.

    Paul Vallejo was the most friendly and sincere car salesman I ever bought a car through in the past 20 years. What surprised me, was he didn't push anything onto me and only wanted to make sure I got what I needed and wanted. I'm a mortgage banker so financing is my specialty, I have to say Paul really understands the finance and lease programs available. He also knew everything in detail about the gs350 fsport I purchased. I didn't' tell him but I did extensive research on what the lease payments should be and he actually beat them all without me even mentioning another dealers price. Hands down, go to Paul Vallejo you will not be disappointed.

    Our sales person Mick H was very professional and knows how to assess a customer disposition to a hard sell or a soft sell. He did not put any pressure on us and explained all of the features of the SUV, went with us on the test drive just describing features as we ask for them and as a rule did not use superlative adjectives to sell the car. He had all of our minor complaints fixed before delivery like loose spring or missing fittings done. The car was clean and wax when we picked it up. I would definitely buy another car/SUV from Mick H at this dealership if I needed another Lexus and would recommend him to anyone looking at this car brand.

    I dealt through the internet, did not buy it from them, but a great impression was left. The price was excellent and so was the communication and politeness. Dealt with J.F. through the internet and phone. He basically had the best price beaten by a $1000 until another dealer who was close by come in on the last second and beat his price by $200 and guaranteed me a price on my trade. Other than that I would have ignored the distance and closed the deal with them. Even as I was closing the deal with the other dealer he wanted to know if there was anything that could be done to secure me as a customer. The interest rate was a decimal pts (.4) higher since they do their own, I could not get a guarantee minimum commitment on my trade in whereas the other dealer guaranteed the trade in value regardless of the carfax report (I did have a minor accident, but nothing major). The only issue here was the 32 miles trip/no guarantee on the trade in and the slightly higher percentage. J.F was polite even as he hung up. Would recommend this dealer anytime. Since I am not sure about the trade in value they would lock I will not rate it. He would even go at invoice price had I choosen him.

    I submitted my enquiry to several dealers using edmunds and got a call from about 5 dealers. All of them quoted a price on the phone and Ray Catena offered the lowest price right of the bat. They explained everything on the phone and I just went to pick up the car - it was ready and the whole process was very smooth. I dealt with Robert and Pete and they are great guys. I highly recommend the Ray Catena dealership, Freehold

    I was at this dealership on May 28 at 2pm, in a suit dressed from work. I walked around the lot with my wife, after no one came out to greet us, I then walked through the show room, still no one said hello, or introduced themselves. I then walked over to a hybrid vehicle, opened all the doors, sat in the car, opened the trunk and still NO one said hello or came over to help us. It was if we were invisible. We left and bought a new vehicle from another dealer 3 days later. Your loss.

    Did everything over the internet and phone. They gave me the cheapest price of any dealer. They sent me a quote over the internet.

    I cannot speak highly enough about Ray Catena Lexus of Freehold as a dealer, and Paul V. as a sales person. The entire purchasing process was stress free, low pressure, and respectful. The negotiated price was excellent, and the follow up great. Will definitely come back to them et then end of my lease.

    Three weeks before I bought my Lexus CT200H, I asked my sale rep: "Could there be a replacement part delivered shortly in case of car accident?" I was assured by the dealership that it shouldn't be problem. Unfortunately, an accident happened and it turns out that the part delivery take 3 - 4 weeks at least. This implies that Lexus sells cars that are not serviceable in a reasonably short time.

    As much as one would like to buy a car at cost to the dealership, they also need to make a profit. The challenge is to figure out what is "fair" price and no one actually knows other than the dealership itself. So, one guestimates. I went with that notion to the dealership. I spent about 3 hours at the dealership. We looked at various interior and color combinations. We changed our minds couple of times. Kudos to the our sales consultant - Flavio - who was patient, courteous and always respectful. We all know how the dealership works. This was no exception. After 3-4 back and forths, we agreed on a price. Was is the best price I could get? Who knows. Was it the worst? I don't think so. I would like to think it was fair. I paid $39,989 for a 2011 Lexus RX 350 with the following options: 1. Premium package 2. Heated and ventilated seats 3. Leather and wood steering column 4. Rear view camera in the rear view mirror 5. Tow prep package 6. Preferred accessories package. Is it a good deal? I do not know. It is slightly less than Edmund's TMV, about $200 less. Flavio was excellent, so was Joe Coen, the sales manager. Would I buy a car again from them? Possibly. Would I recommend them to my family and friends? Definitely.

    I recently bought a car from Ray Catena Lexus in Freehold. At first I was not considering buying a Lexus, but the salesman there, Paul, explained the Lexus IS250 F-Sport to me very well. He took his time to answer all my questions and did not pressure me into buying a car. Because the salesman did such an amazing job, after going to other dealerships and looking at other cars, I came back to Ray Catena Lexus to purchase that car. When I gave Paul a call about 15 minutes before the dealership closed, he still said it was okay for me to come in, and he stayed with me an hour after closing to sign the deal. My experience with this dealership was excellent and beyond my expectations. I highly recommend this dealership and especially Paul to anyone.
