This Dealer is NOT Worth Wasting Your Precious Time!!

They committed a price of $ 25,550 including Destination Charge for a Sonata Limited 2.0 T with Navigation package over the phone. I asked their sales rep. Al...t couple of times that… do not deceive me with bogus discounts & lucrative numbers but he kept on re-assuring me that this is what they could offer n he even checked with his manager the price n everything & checked his car stock & confirmed vehicle MSRP $32900. I couldn't believe my ears but after several reassurances decided to visit the dealer. I was at the dealership in an hours time & took my family along hoping against hope that this might not be a LEMON......but unfortunately that's exactly what it turned out to be!! The moment i entered they called the sales guy who spoke with me over the phone & he immediately introduced to another sales guy S...v. & left the scene. I insisted on meeting the manager A.... but he wouldn't come. This S guy ADDED $ 500 to the price they had committed over the phone. On further pushing he called the manager & he said that you need to pay Fees & Destination charges EXTRA, adding another $810 + $300 Fees ( in ADDITION to the Documentation charge) to the committed price. I didn't waste any more time got up & left. Good thing I reached home in time for the kids to go to bed on time! I would insist on NOT relying on anything these guys commit! All the Best to those who want to still deal with such dealers!!Joe and Semos...You Guys Are The BEST!

We bought 2 cars there and Joe and his manager Semos were TRUE to their word and delivered on every aspect… of the deal! I have referred, and will continue to tell others about, this dealership. Joe was the sales person who was wonderful with a great sense of humor and awesome product knowledge. Along with Semos, I feel they worked with us and got us a great deal. They need to make some profit and I need to save some money. It was definitely a Win-Win. It was also assuring when I saw other returning customers while I was there; I knew this must be the way most are treated. Giveem a shot I dont think my experience was an isolated event.Very pleased!!!!

by katerinat76 on 03/09/2011updated 06/07/2025just leased a brand new Hyundai Sonata SE from Lynnes on December 28, 2010. I have to say I never leased a car so I had no idea what to expect. It was probably the easiest car experience I ever had. I traded in my old car as the cash down… for the lease. They gave me a more then fair value for my old car. I had initially test drove one Sonata but when it came time for delivery of my vehicle there had been a small mixup (my guess was someone beat me to the car because the dealership was so busy being it was month & year end) and I ended up with a better car with a couple more add ins for the same price. The deals Lynnes were advertising were significantly lower then what was being advertised nationally. The sales manager, Semos Kostidakis, did all he could to get me the lowest price possible and he far exceeded it. I was researching on forums and I saw what some people were leasing similar cars and I was shocked at how great of a deal they did for me. Almost $100.00 less in some cases. The thing is I was willing to work with them. I told them what I really wanted and what I could do without and they more then took care of me. The day came for me to pick up my car. It was 2 days after the blizzard hit the northeast. My salesman, Dennis Monaco was there waiting for me at the door. He could not have been more attentive and helpful throughout the entire process. He was running around the icy lot putting in my mats and making sure everything was ship shape with my car. I was so worried he was going to slip in the icy lot with his dress shoes. He even went as far as setting up the blue tooth on my car, stopped traffic for me so I could easily pull my new car out of the lot with no issues and when I realized I left my EZ-pass in my car and called the dealership he was there waiting for me with it and something else I didnt even realize I left in my car. Recently I sent him a text message and he got back to me immediately (even though he was on vacation).Outstanding Service

But, when i came in to the dealership the car was being sold, luckily for me i got to speak to the manager Mr. Al Albik, and he… was very nice and professional he came up with a better deal for me. He did everything is his power to make me happy with my brand new car, i didn't get the car i originally wanted, instead a got something better, i highly recommend this dealership, especially dealing with Mr. Albk, and the sales rep, Oscar. thank you guys at lynnes!great experience

I always believed that those words could never go hand in hand with auto sales, but Boy, was i pleasantly Surprised, John… was my first contact, the internet guy, and my favorite Car salesman Doug Summers, you have got to ak for him by name. Not only is he knowledgeable but very curteous, polite, and very human. Not sleeze, or looking out for his best interest, no he was a pure joy as well as every one at Lynnes, from the receptionists, to Carlos the finance guy. Would I recommend, That is a yes, to everyone I know to my family and friends. I wish and pray that Doug Summers has a very successful career, and evryone there ,May god Bless them all. If just out of curiosity, please go and check them out. You will not regret it. They will make you feel comfortable and never pressured, and that to me equals excellence. This was the first time I bought a car and they made the process easy and took into account all of my concerns. From the… sales representive I dealt with to finance, any question I had, even if I repeated myself, was answered with patience and respect. I have been present when others have bought cars and they were not treated the same, even when the car bought was new. In those situations, the company acted as if they were doing us a huge favor. Not taking into account that we were doing them the favor by doing business with them. It is hard to find a company that treats you with respect, patience, and understanding. It is one of the reasons that I believe that Lynnes stands out. I would not only recommend Lynnes to others, but will go back to them when the time comes to buy another car.Lynnes systematically defrauds our military people

Offers special military price to the military for a specific car (by VIN), I confirmed this 6 times through John and Jim in the internet group and Oscar on the sales floor and they all said the… checked with the manager (Semos), but Semos, the self described "Crazy Greek," tried to tack on 5 separate charges into the final contract. I walked out there through a bad neighborhood, trusting that they actually care about the military, but it is just a good old-fashioned "bait and switch" fraud. Shame on you Semos! Semos says that he does not honor his certified offer for the military and that there is nothing we can do about it! If you hate those serving our military, then you will love what Semos does to us!Completely Satisfied

Courteous staff. We went for a test drive and fell in love. We told them what we… wanted, they gave us an amazing price. Although they didn't have the car in stock or on it's way, they located it in Albany and had it in my hands 6 days later. Ask for Joe Cassesse. He was great. Will recommend to anyone I know.Satisfied

by laybug8 on 10/14/2011updated 06/07/2025I leased a 2012 Hyundai Sonata from Lynnes Hyundai in Bloomfield and I am very happy with my purchase. My sales person was Domenick (sp?) He was very pleasant to deal with and introduced me to Semos that crazy guy on the billboards and to a… few other people. I informed my sales person I wanted a white Sonata with black leather interior and at an affordable lease. After a few months the car I wanted finally came in he gave me a call and I was at the dealership within 2 hrs making a deal. The car was perfect and so brand new I couldn't wait to drive it off the lot. Domenick was very patient and explained everything from how to program the radio to how to set up the blue link (new on 2012 models). I am enjoying my Sonata and would definitely recommend Lynnes HyundaiFantastic!!!

General sales manager Semos was great and very helpful as well. I had so many questions and they really took the time to answer… them and help me find the best car for me. I was very happy with the experience. The manager Semos was incredibly helpful and answered all of my… questions. He really took the time to try and find the best car for me. I have had my car for a few months and now and I am very satisfied. I hightly recommend going to this dealership.A big ripoff
by cpangan on 02/26/2014updated 06/07/2025I am a second owner of a 2011 Hyundai Sonata. The check engine came on with 19K miles. First, I went to my reliable mechanic and told me it's the gas sensor but good news is because it's under warranty, I can take it to any Hyundai dealer… to get it fixed for free since it's under 5 yrs, and below 60K. The lady I talked to in the service dept. told me right off the butt, that they don't honor other diagnosis other than their service guys and it'll cost me already $120 just for diagnostic! Then they will let me know if the parts or whatever service they will do is under warranty! These people will do anything to find fault to a car so they can make money!Dishonest, Deceptive Dealer
by johndebole on 07/26/2012updated 06/07/2025I submitted a Consumer Reports Price quote and was issued one by Lynnes Hyundai and another two from other hyundai dealers in Bklyn NY, A salesperson named Aisha sent me emails re: the vehicle and I told her that although their quote was… pretty good I had a lower quote from a Bklyn Dealer, Ms. Aisha told me that if I could bring in the printed quote of the lower quote into their salesmanager they would either match or beat the quote by as much as $ 300.00. So yesterday we went in to speak with the salemanager as Aisha was off, when Semos Kostidakis , the general Sales Mgr came out to greet us, we explained the details and presented him with his quotes and the other lower quote, he then stated that they had sold the last Hyundai Elantra Gls but they were expecting more in next week and then he referred us to a salesman whom we presented the same information, he then went to get a list of the vehicles they were receiving next week and there were some models to fill our needs however he then proceeded to tell us that unfortunately the vehicles that were coming in had a higher MSRP $1145.00 more than the original MSRP of 18470.00 and that as such the best price they could give us was $400.00 off of Invoice, so not only did they not beat or even match the price, they actually raised the price they originally quoted, therefore not honoring their own Quote. I truly despise dealing with dealerships just for these reasons, its as if they cannot be honest and respect their customers time. It is inconceivable to me that the MSRP of a recently released 2013 model could go up in price, months after its release if anything the released price one would think would be the highest MSRP. Lynne's doesn't honor their agreement with Consumer Reports and attempt to fool the leads provided by Consumer Reports. I will be reporting this to Consumer Reports to see if they wish to include them in their auto buying program. Stay away from this dealer or Be Aprised as they do not appear to be very honorable in their business practices.
