    I brought cash to buy a 2017 Subaru; no fewer than 5 Lithia employees including the "sales manager" tried to convince me to buy their financing. Did not appreciate their hard sale techniques. Also, car was not ready when promised (was dirty, purchased accessories not installed, no gas). Was also told no less than 6 times that Reno Lithia Subaru is #3 in sales in the US: I translated that as "we actually don't really need your business, so take the deal or not..." I bought the car, but thanks for wasting my time on what should have been about a 45min deal that spread out to 5 days and three trips to the dealership.

    Don't bring your family or friends to this business... I am a recent college graduate from Reno NV. I bought my Subaru Forester xt + extended warranty from Lithia Subaru Reno in July of this year. We worked out a loan for 14,000$ roughly with a two year warranty, which seemed to promise a smooth process that would put me on the road in my second vehicle. They held my Forster for a week to perform under the hood work + a full detail. When I received the vehicle the interior was extremely filthy; plastic and cloth surfaces were covered in grease and dirt. I returned the vehicle to complain and they cleaned it for me. However this was only the beginning to the inconvenience and stress this company has caused me. I also purchased a life time service of oil changes through Lithia. They performed an oil change for me during this maintenance week but did not place a mileage sticker in my vehicle to let me know when my next visit should be. This is a familiar service that every company I've visited provides, one that has helped me regularly maintain my previous and first vehicle, a ford escort 1999. I would have this vehicle serviced every three to five months with the help of my mechanics, and if I was ever unsure I could check my mileage sticker for guidance. Three months passed by with my "new" used vehicle as I scrambled for direction after college and I noticed there was no mileage sticker in my vehicle. I wasn't sure what my vehicles mileage range was; no car manual had been provided when I bought the vehicle but I knew it was time to be serviced. I checked my oil, it was low so I topped it off, and planned to bring the vehicle to Lithia the very next day. The vehicle was working fine at this point but I wanted to have the oil changed regardless. As I drove my car in, it broke down on the freeway mere exits away NO LIGHTS CAME ON. Lithia informed me first that the break down was due to the engine running out of oil. This was not the case, so they followed that the cause was either due to lack of maintenance or engine problems and at first wanted me to pay 780$ total to see if my extended warranty would cover what turned out to be a broken engine. My deductible for the warranty is only 250$. This irked me and I told them so and thankfully they were able to help me with the price for the costly inspection. Now I owe them 520$ for this inspection + the initial diagnostics. They claimed that lack of maintenance has caused the denial of my warranty and asked me why I didn't bring my vehicle in sooner. Yet when I asked them why my vehicles warning lights did not work, why they were unable to inform me of my mileage time frame after it's original oil change, and why I was not at least provided with an owners manual they literally replied with as follows "we do not have an answer for you and we're sorry this happened, we don't know why it happened...". Well Lithia is sorry and I have a broken motor. I am aware that I am responsible for my vehicle but I am no expert in this field and neither is my single parent mother who raised me. I find reassurance that my vehicle will be maintained from depending on the professionalism and accountability of the company I take it to. I have never had this issue before because of this reliability provided by others. But this unprofessional practice I've experienced with Lithia has left me distraught. I have a new vehicle, with a worthless engine, with an unusable warranty and a hefty loan that I still have to pay for. I feel like I'm being taken advantage of by this company and if there is anything I can do about it than I will. I'll be facing 5000-6000$ in costs to replace my engine on top of what I still owe Lithia 1600$ roughly for a warranty that won't apply to a new engine, 849$ for my oil service plan that doesn't include mileage indicators or a notice plan of any type. They did lower my final cost to 390$ for the warranty diagnostics as a courtesy. I still do not know why my engine failed, why my engine burned 5 quarts of oil in three months, why no warning lights came on, why Lithias service plan is no service, and why I have a new vehicle that is totally useless. I would warn any one who purchases a vehicle from this company to be cautious of the unprofessional practice that I have experienced.

    I enjoyed shopping for a new car here. Had not done this since 2001. It was a totally enjoyable experience. "Chuck" is a very friendly, and Not pushy car salesman. I give him an A+ all the way !!!!!

    All good things to say about Reno Lithia Subaru and our awesome salesman Homero Quinonez. No pressure,all straight up professional. They allowed me my research time on my preferred vehicle without hounding me for the sale. I let them know what my budget was and they worked hard to make it work for me. Very impressed!     This is my 4th Dubara and the best. Great price. Great job by the sales team, especially Brock Riggs, who got me the car I wanted and took a lot of time to explain how it works.

    We purchased our new Subaru Outback mostly online, as we were better able to compare features we specifically were seeking, from one dealership to another that way. Because we had been warned (as CA residents) that we should NOT buy from a Nevada dealership due to the DOC being many times greater than that of CA dealerships, we were hesitant to even entertain a quote from any NV dealership. Calin Varga at Lithia Subaru fielded the online request and worked with us, concerning our budget and vehicle features we wanted. He went above and beyond any sales person we've ever encountered in our car buying history. To us, buying a car is worse than getting a root canal! Calin Varga changed that for us, and in the future, when we are in the market for another car, we certainly hope Calin is available to help. We would refer our family and friends to him most readily.

    We were referred to Michael Lien. Within minutes we had an acceptable price below invoice. We picked a car off their to be delivered list. 2 weeks later Michael called and had our car ready. Paperwork always takes time. Michael explained everything and also went over the workings of the car. We drove off happy for making the trip from Minden.

    This is the 3rd Subaru I have purchased from Lithia Subaru. This might have been the smoothest purchase yet. Everyone was upfront, no last minute changes in prices, etc. Kudos to Salvador Fregoso. There was no hard sell tactics.

    I love my new car! I needed a compact car with AWD, large doors, significant headroom, and significant hip room. My roommate and I are both large people, and he is disabled. I am also not accustomed to driving on snow and ice. The Impreza suits all my needs and then some. Compact on the outside, once you sit inside you completely forget you are in a compact car! The luxurious feel and abundance of room allows you to feel as if you are in a full size sedan. Oh and how she handles! I love driving this vehicle. I have been renting numerous cars to learn what I do and do not like and this is the first one that actually feels good driving. As for the dealership I went here twice looking at used cars and once after I had decided to lease. There was always someone readily available to answer all my questions, show me around, and make me feel like it was my needs that were most important.

    My daughter did her research and wanted the Subaru Crosstrek. Lithia Subaru helped to make it a reality. Since she was a little girl, she has been saving her money. We noticed that they had a white Crosstrek which was within her budget. She's had the car for about a week now and could not be happier. Thanks so much for your outstanding service.

    I recently leased a Forster at the Reno Lithia Subaru Dealership. The sales person was Calin. It was a wonderful experience. I usually hate going into car dealerships, because the sales people can be pushy. Calin was never pushy, did not try and up sell us, or sell us add ons that we did not need. He answered all our questions and made the process quick and painless. I will be buying my next Subaru from Calin and I will recommend him to my friends and colleagues.
