  • Horrible Service Department

    Without a doubt, it was the worst service department I've ever dealt with. At initial drop-off (on Monday), the service rep was slow to process my service needs and seemed disinterested in being at work. Another worker welcomed him back from vacation, so maybe that's why. He just didn't want to be there. 3 days later I was called and told replacement parts should be there the next day and may get the vehicle back after 5 days in the shop (Friday). No calls from the service rep by noon on the work status, so I called the dealership. They use an automated answering system, so I left a message from the service rep to call me with progress report. Apparently, no one monitors the voicemail box for this since no one called me. Called the following Monday twice (day 8 in service), of course only to be greeted by the voicemail system; no response from the dealership. Called Tuesday (day 9) 4 times. Left messages for the service rep and the service manager. No response. Called Wednesday 3 times (day 10), voicemail, no response. Called again, got through to a human and was told that "Abbie" would call me back with the status of my repair. No call back. Called 2 times Thursday (day 11), voicemail, no response. Received a call from the service rep Thursday afternoon and was told parts had arrived and the vehicle should be ready on Friday. Explained to him about all the phone messages I had left, and he said he never got any messages. Waited on Friday (day 12) for a call to pick up the vehicle which never came. Received a text message from the dealership on Monday (day 15) stating the vehicle was ready for pickup and the service manager had called and texted me on the previous Friday. Checked my phone records and found no calls or texts from the dealership. I responded to the text with this information and found out the service manager had used the wrong phone number and never followed up. The lack of communication from the dealership shows their total lack of respect towards their customers. Don’t plan on ever returning to this dealership even though I’m in the market for a new vehicle.

    so for my recent visit I want to give a big shout out to Abigail, who is amazing. She did such a great job getting me into a rental keeping me updated and even going the extra mile to help me get the rental car returned. She’s a rockstar. This is the third time I’ve taken the truck back for the same issue. All the staff there really did a great job!!

    Dropped off my Charger for some repairs. Andre is my regular service I had a new rep Floyd and he did a great job. He made sure to keep me informed, sent me pictures, gave me the breakdown of the cost, and even accommodated me picking up my vehicle after they closed.

    We feel it took to long to get our truck fixed. We told the techs when we brought it in that it had to do with the reprogramming of the throttle body and modular. After 2 different times of being told it was fixed just to drive it off the lot and turn right around and cripple it back to the mechanic was frustrating. We dont think they even test drove it. We asked them to please test drove it before calling us again. After a month they changed the throttle body and test drove it and we were finally able to drive it home. We also paid more for the work than we were quoted. We had a new battery in it when we took it in and after 3 weeks they told us our battery was dead and would not take a charge so we had to pay for another one. An expense that we feel was the dealership's fault. We got our truck late in the day on friday and sunday the check engine light is on though the truck is running good. We had to call them to find out how the truck was coming along and felt like our truck was just sitting there, it wasnt til we let them know that we were feeling neglected that it seems they got to working on the truck. We realize they are very busy but in the end the problem turned out to be the throttle body and had they listened to us in the beginning they wouldn't have had our truck for so long. We should not have had to pay for the battery had they got the job done sooner instead of letting the truck sit.

    Took wife’s car in for an oil change, it’s been two years since I took it to the dealer for an oil change. Estimate they gave me was for $54.29. Actual price was $133.17, Ouch ! Labor - $45.00, 5 qts oil - $44.55, filter - $9.99, MOA oil treatment - $22.99. Misc charges - $3.83, Tax - $ $6.81. Not sure what the quote covered ? Look at last oil change two years ago $61.94: Labor - $30.00, oil - $24.95, filter - $6.99

  • Bad Brakes

    I purchased a 2018 high country from Auto Nation with “new brakes”. 2 months after the purchase they were still squealing and the service adviser recommended OEM pads. The dealer said they wouldn’t fix it since the brakes work… They claim another store put the non OEM pads on so it’s out of their control now… Beware, they cut corners and don’t stand behind the quality of their work on small things like brake pads. I also had to call my service adviser for updates. He said he left a message but then didn’t ask for my number to verify he had it right… If you’re going to lie, at least make it believable.

    Since buying my SUV my yearly interactions have been remarkable. New faces have changed my perception. Lots of chatter, clowning around. Customers standing at front desk including myself awaiting to simply be acknowledged. Are we conducting business?, or acting like grade school dudes. I wasn't at all happy this visit, not sure if I would return. It was a bit much this time around. Take care of your customers, with our us, there is no GMC
