Horrible Service Department

Without a doubt, it was the worst service department I've ever dealt with. At initial drop-off (on Monday), the service rep was slow to process my service needs and seemed disinterested in being at work. Another worker welcomed him back from vacation, so maybe that's why. He just didn't want to be there. 3 days later I was called and told replacement parts should be there the next day and may get the vehicle back after 5 days in the shop (Friday). No calls from the service rep by noon on the work status, so I called the dealership. They use an automated answering system, so I left a message from the service rep to call me with progress report. Apparently, no one monitors the voicemail box for this since no one called me. Called the following Monday twice (day 8 in service), of course only to be greeted by the voicemail system; no response from the dealership. Called Tuesday (day 9) 4 times. Left messages for the service rep and the service manager. No response. Called Wednesday 3 times (day 10), voicemail, no response. Called again, got through to a human and was told that "Abbie" would call me back with the status of my repair. No call back. Called 2 times Thursday (day 11), voicemail, no response. Received a call from the service rep Thursday afternoon and was told parts had arrived and the vehicle should be ready on Friday. Explained to him about all the phone messages I had left, and he said he never got any messages. Waited on Friday (day 12) for a call to pick up the vehicle which never came. Received a text message from the dealership on Monday (day 15) stating the vehicle was ready for pickup and the service manager had called and texted me on the previous Friday. Checked my phone records and found no calls or texts from the dealership. I responded to the text with this information and found out the service manager had used the wrong phone number and never followed up. The lack of communication from the dealership shows their total lack of respect towards their customers. Don’t plan on ever returning to this dealership even though I’m in the market for a new vehicle.
