Milan was very polite, knowledgeable and friendly. The last time I bought a car I was there about 4 hours, to my surprise this time I was in and out in about an hour. Gordon the… finance manager was also fantastic, he got me a lower rate than my own bank.

by jk7597 on 03/21/2014updated 06/01/2025Terrible, terrible, terrible dealer. I say this because i didn't just deal with one salesperson, but several. The communication is probably the worst. Don't every try to call them, they won't answer. And they won't return return calls for… days, if ever. Everyone seems incompetent, they act like they can do things for you, but when you ask them to they fumble around and come up with excuses. Get everything in writing, even down to the smallest detail!!! The minute you put a deposit down they will switch around numbers and change their story. The good old days when someone's word means something is long gone. If they don't have the exact car on the lot you want, go to a different dealer that does. They will discuss a price as if it were a car in their inventory, but then raise the negotiated price because they had to "trade it" from another dealer. I have never had such a terrible experience in my life and will never, ever recommend this dealership to anyone. Also...they have terrible facilities, with no free food or drinks, just vending machines...It was all about me!

Adam was very helpful speaking to my wife on the phone prior to the visit; she was confident that this is a dealership we should… work with. We came to Dean Team after a Sleazy experience two days prior. The Dean Team was a model of customer service, knowledge and professionalism. I never sensed any uneasiness, edginess nor uncertainty among the staff we worked with nor anyone else. I wouldn't be surprised for them to entertain any reasonable request from a customer. They all seemed to be happy to be there and take pride in their interaction with customers and prospective customers. I'm sure they sleep well at night. Many thanks.Great car buying experience!

by podlady on 04/13/2011updated 06/01/2025In March 2011 we purchased a used van, a 2002 Mazda MPV, for my daughter from Dean Team Hyundai. She found it via an on-line search. I went to look at it and test drove it. It came with a 2,000-mile/60 day warranty. That same evening, my… husband also came in and checked it out. We were told again of the warranty, which was also pasted to the window of the van. He put $500 down on it. The following day (March 8) my daughter and I came to pick it up and give them a check for the balance. We were forced to wait over an hr. She signed various documents, including the warranty, and we were told the papers would all be mailed to her. On the way home, the transmission went out. Dean Team sent a tow truck and provided her with a rental van at no charge. After a week, she tried to find out the status on the repair. After days of phone calls not being returned, one guy finally told her to stop calling and talk to the sales guy (Andy Miller) who she had also left msgs. with. A month later, the car was finally finished. When she picked it up and took it to the license bureau, the inspection was expired. She ended up getting it re-inspected at her own cost, and was told to mail Andy the bill. She has yet to be reimbursed. The inspection showed that the van has a cracked left boot and needs a new left axle. The mechanic at the transmission repair place told her that the boot was already in bad shape when they repaired the tranny, that Dean Team was informed, and that they did/said nothing. She has the receipt from them also stating this. Needless to say, none of her phone calls have been returned. The papers she received in the mail show that the warranty she signed was altered to As-is, No Warranty (even though the box showing that there IS a warranty was still checked). This is fraud. Since she has been unsuccessful in getting anyone there to speak with her, she has filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I will update this review if/when there is a resolution. My daughter, husband and I were treated extremely rudely by these people, in particular Andy, who raised his voice to me on the phone when I called about the inspection, and basically said that they were doing us a favor by selling us this piece of ___. I wish we had read the negative reviews here before doing business with them.Great customer service

by investbanker on 10/08/2011updated 06/01/2025We had 3 different sales people(one the sales manager), and all three of them were emotionally manipulative, financially untruthful, and flat out lied about the history reports and rarity of the cars. One of the car reports they gave us was… a car fax report for a similar vehicle, but my wife noticed that the VIN numbers were not the same - neither was the miles, condition, or amenities. When I calmly said 3 times that I was no longer interested in a particular car, they threatened to call the cops and have me thrown out out for my "disrespectful and non compliant nature", because I would not sign the papers. They had my wife in tears and were laughing and bragging about it. This is the only place I know off that lives up to the "used car salesman" notoriety. I have bought more than a dozen of used cars from nearly as many places and I have never experienced so much pressure and immortality. If it was the 1800's, and I was a younger man, I would have drug all three of them out in the streets and beat them silly. We later found out at Aufenburg VW that Dean Team lied over 30 times to us as we were writing information down. Dean team came down over 7K on 2 cars and 5 K on another, but the price different was not enough to allows us to buy something that we could not trust from people we could not trust. We will never buy from dean team, even if they clean up their act. Spend the extra time to go to a reputable dealer like Aufenburg, and you will find that their prices are "pre-marked up" to make you feel like you are getting a good deal.My Santa Fe

They worked with me to get where I wanted to be and gave very good customer service. I live in… Chicago, Illinois and drove to Ballwin, Missouri for this vehicle and will do it again when it's time for another. I was very pleased with my purchase.
