  • Customer Unsatisfied

1 out of 5 starsby Joey Reeves on 01/16/2024

The buying process was fine and the salesman was good to work with. However, the 2nd day of me driving my new car I ended up with a flat tire. Turns out the rim of the wheel was dented which was why I got a flat tire. I didn't hit any curbs or pot holes. I drove the car for less than 25 miles. The cost to fix the wheel is $800+ which is mentally deflating after buying a car. I called the salesman and manager and they told me I was "out of luck" and there was nothing they can do. This left a sour taste in my mouth and I won't buy from them ever again unfortunately.
  • I Love my new Hyundai,

5 out of 5 starsby Jennifer McDaniels on 11/19/2023

A great experience thank you Milan and Dean Team Hyundai Milan was very polite, knowledgeable and friendly. The last time I bought a car I was there about 4 hours, to my surprise this time I was in and out in about an hour. Gordon the finance manager was also fantastic, he got me a lower rate than my own bank.

On Memorial Day weekend I went in to test drive a Sante Fe and drove out with my dream car! The whole experience was pleasant, no pressure and Andy Miller was awesome! I will recommend Dean Team and Andy to anyone I know that is looking for a new car.
  • Best Cay Buying Experience EVER

5 out of 5 starsby Kmlenzen on 03/11/2018

Tim Riley and Reed were amazing! They made purchasing a car for our son so easy. They knew what we were looking for and showed us all the available options. By far, the best and easiest car buying experience ever. Will be back for our next purchase. Thank you, Tim and Reed!
  • Amazing Experience

    5 out of 5 starsby cecebloom314 on 03/01/2015

I did my 'homework' and came to the dealership pretty much knowing what I wanted, but Paul Smith showed me an even better deal. Scott Varnum worked hard at getting me the best loan and interest rate possible. I have never been able to say buying a car was even close to being a pleasant experience, but this was amazing. I never felt rushed or bullied into making a decision. This was THE BEST car buying experience that I've ever had and will be back to see these guys when it's time for the next vehicle.

They had really great service. Andy was very knowledgeable on the different cars that I looked at.
  • Dean Team is the Best Team

5 out of 5 starsby Kavaughn on 08/20/2014

My recent car buying experience was the best experience I've ever had in purchasing a vehicle. My initial interaction with Adam over the internet made me convinced this was the first place I should visit. Upon my arrival I was greeted by Darryl in sales and shortly thereafter by the General Manager who offered me a bottle of water. Darryl was great! Cordial, friendly, and honest. Tom F. the GM was fun to talk with and by the time I left the Finance Manager's (Scott) office I knew I made the right decision. Darryl introduced me to Coach in service which benefitted me two days later when I had an early morning question about my car. The entire staff here is top notch and they really understand how to make a customer feel special! I highly recommend visiting Dean Team Hyundai and further recommend requesting the individuals I've dealt with personally!
  • WONDERFUL experience buying our FJ

5 out of 5 starsby KharaWolf on 08/18/2014

My husband and I bought a Toyota FJ from Dean Team Hyundai last week, and as the title says, we have nothing but good things to say about the experience. Working with Chris P. was truly a pleasure. He is all that you could ask for in a salesperson, down to earth, friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous. Buying a car is oftentimes such an ordeal, but this transaction was as painless as I have ever experienced. Dean Team went above and beyond to ensure that we were happy with the FJ, and even today they are taking care of a couple of minor issues for me because they truly care about customer satisfaction. We received personal correspondence from so many team members and their dedication made it an easy choice to buy from them. I LOVE The Dean Team experience and will happily name drop to any friends in the market for a new or used car!
  • Fits the stereotype of sleazy car dealers

    1.8 out of 5 starsby dm3500 on 07/03/2010

My wife and I really appreciated the quality and value of Hyundai vehicles but were dismayed by the terrible and unethical service of the sales staff (including a self-proclaimed 'manager'). The sales consultant attempted to get us to sign a firm commitment to buy when the terms hadn't even been fully defined (the four square trick but with some squares still left blank). He then lied to us about the interest rate used in calculating the loan payments; fortunately, we knew the formula for calculating loan payments and determined on the spot (with the help of a calculator) that he was trying to get us to agree to a 6% interest rate while claiming he was competitive with 2.9% rates elsewhere. Then, he claimed that the only way to get the better rate was to pay $1800 more for additional warranties. We had it, and left the dealership. The 'manager' followed us and offered to work with us if we just came back inside, and we refused. He then accused us of not being serious buyers. In a sense, it was true; by this point, we had no intention of buying from such an unscrupulous dealership. Ironically, we ended up buying a different make vehicle from a different dealership under the Dean Team banner which had excellent service and a forthright approach to sales. Something must be specifically wrong with this Dean Team Hyundai dealership.
  • Detouring from the Norm

After countless hours of research online and copious amounts of Saturdays test driving every make and model of crossover and small SUV they make, I was exhausted. (This not including the myriad of hours spent in way too close of quarters analyzing the less than stellar character of the typical car salesman while they rambled through their well rehearsed jargon)... I made my way to Dean Team Hyundai. Rob Miller there was awesome. He was a straight shooter who didn't want to waste my time. He cut to the chase, allowed me to test drive multiple makes and models, and never pressured me to purchase. He knew I was a first time car buyer and was intent on making sure that it was a great experience. I walked away the first day from DTH and thought over all the information that I had accumulated from all the different sales departments only to return to DTH a week later to purchase my beautiful brand new 2009 Santa Fe. I couldn't be happier and I truly appreciate all that Mr. Miller did to make sure that I was comfortable with my purchase. As a first time car buyer and as a female perusing the endless sea of over-inflated car salesmen by myself, I was pleasantly surprised at what I found at Dean Team Hyundai.
  • Good Car, Horrible Service

1.8 out of 5 starsby dkatzoff on 05/23/2010

First of all we love our new Hyundai, but hate where we bought it. We purchased it at the Manchester Hyundai Dean Team. Despite the fact it seemed that we were in the middle of a fraternity party, the service was decent until the moment we bought the car. We were lied to & told that the service department was under renovations, so we should come back to be serviced & then it was impossible to get an appointment to come in. Once we came in we were treated extremely rude & told that none of the issues the car had were covered under warranty, despite the fact they were that way the night we bought it, so nothing was covered. Then we were told we would have the car detailed. 2 days later & more fighting when we got the car back it hadn't even been vacuumed! We had to argue for even that. We wrote a letter of complaint & have yet to hear a response from the Sales Department! Definitely spend your money on a more deserving company!!! It's a big purchase, so do it where it's appreciated.
  • "Captain [violative content deleted]"

1.7 out of 5 starsby schiznultz on 01/29/2010

Came to Dean Team Hyundai looking for a relatively inexpensive used car - this car is not a necessity for me as I already have a nice truck, but I wanted something with better mileage for my long work commute. There were no prices on any of the older used cars, so I had to go in to inquire about the prices of a couple I found. I am not sure what the name of the associate that I talked with, but he had a nameplate on his desk that said "The Captain" Upon inquiring about both cars he told me to pick which one I wanted more because he already had another customer to take care of. Before he would tell me the prices, he wanted to know my budget. After I told him, he began offering cars that were $3,000+ of my max price. When I told him I did not want that high, he told me about one more car but he wasn't going to look up the info if I was just going to waste his time. Before I could give him a full response, I got rudely interrupted and was told that no one would finance me at the amount I was asking despite a down payment and if I wanted the "scummy" deal I was asking for, I should go to a sleaze dealer and get a car that will break down on me next week. He also shook his list of cars in my face asking where I saw a car at the price I was asking. Mind you, I am a young lady, but that shouldn't matter - no one should treat a customer that way! I told him his treatment was ridiculous and walked out. For what it's worth, I went to [another dealership] after DTH, got a car well below the price range I asked, and I DID get financed. And they were all wonderful, upstanding individuals, not a "sleaze" dealer.
  • bait and switch

1 out of 5 starsby venkim on 01/17/2010

They get you into the dealership. Rob Miller wanted me to put in 500 deposit for a car that was not in the lot. The pitch was that there is a waiting list to buy the car at this amazing price (?) and unless I put in a non refundable deposit, it will be gone. Promptly next morning ,they call me and tell that the car is gone ! Expect me to cry ?? Worst salesman. Dont go near them.
    • I also had a bad experience, and similar to yours. Found a car on the lot I liked before going inside. Guy had to ask me 4 times about the car I saw because he didn't even know they had it on the lot. Then he gave me a ridiculous price and tried to push on me a car that he didn't want to give me the info for unless I said I wanted it. The conversation lasted about 30 seconds after that before I walked out.

  • Stay away from this dealership

1.7 out of 5 starsby carmicheal on 05/28/2009

These guys are the classic terrible used-car salesmen. This is the first place I have ever gone shopping where the salesman's perspective is 'how can I sell this guy the worst car I have on my lot?' I made the mistake telling my budget and they then kept trying to sell the worst cars on the lot for my budget limit. Finally I found one marginally acceptable. After haggling on the price for almost an hour, I checked their online listings on my phone and found that they had listed the car for $4000 less on their website. I promptly got up, walked out and will never be back.
  • The terrible dealership

1.4 out of 5 starsby pppstream on 12/29/2008

They provide a unrealistic price to attact you to go to their office. Then they will forget what they had said. Try to foul you! Don't go to this dealership. They are terrible.
  • Don't Buy At Deam Team Hyundai!

    2 out of 5 starsby blues30 on 06/04/2008

I love the Hyundai Sonata, I bought it used and it is my first Hyundai and so far I really like it. What I don't like is the "service" after the sale at Dean Team Hyundai. I have had the car over a month so far and Dean Team Hyundai has refused to detail the car properly after several attempts. It was a used car and it has stains on the back seat that I am aware may not be able to be gotten rid of. An effort has not been made to remove them. My sales man has made no follow up after the sale to make sure I am a happy customer. After 3 attempts to address this issue all I have received thus far is a 20 minute vacuum and dusting but no attempt to removed the stains in the back seat. If you want service after the sale do not buy from Dean Team Hyundai, or make sure any service you want done to your car be done before you sign the paperwork, which is the mistake I made. Dean Team will give you good service up to the sale, after that you are on your own. I am in the process of filing a complaint with the BBB and I am also writing a letter on complaint to Deam Team and to Hyundai. They also made me wait 2 days before getting all the paperwork filled out and some of it they had me fill out incorrectly and had to be corrected at the DMV.
    • I totally aggre with blues30. Yesterday i went to Dean Team which is on Manchester road near 141 to look at 2009 Hyundai Genesis, and i faced a very bad customer service i ever received, as soon as i entered in and asked i want to look and know about the Genesis car. There is no good responce from him and he just asked me go ahead and look the car, he didnt even assist me to the car or he didnt even try ti give me the over view of the new car, and he just left from there saying he got another Customer and after 15 minutes waiting he came to me and was asking are paying the instalments monthly or u want to pay down payment... This is ridiculas ...i didnt even look at the car and dont know about the car he is asking about the payment. And the catch here is when i asked about the Test Ride he said they are not allwing for any test rides ...he suggested that he would allow me only to ride around the building..... maan..i swear this Deam team shop is not at all good..no respect to the customers ..no only that guy whome i spoke with all other guys were the same no respect to the customers.... I will not recomment any one go or buy a car there. Very Bad ..Very Bad ... Very Bad Experience. And no got Dealers.

My husband & I just bought two brand new cars from Dean Team. Mike W. was our sales guy & he was excellent. He talked us through everything & made us feel as if nobody else mattered. He went over all the added features with me on my car & didn't treat me bad because I'm female. He made me feel very welcomed & didn't hesitate to answer any questions we had. Adam N. had also worked with us & assured me they were doing everything in their power to get us our new cars. They worked with us to get us the best deal possible. I drove off the lot that night with my new car. Adam gave us a dealer tag so we had use of the car until they got all the numbers worked out. When we went back to finalize it, they detailed my car & filled up the tank for me as promised. I can't wait to get my next Hyundai from there.

My wife and I just purchased a Tuscan from Dean Team Hyundai. We had a first class experience. Mike E. was very professional and did a great job putting my wife in a vehicle she really likes at a fair price. He is the first person I will call when we need another car!

Craig usually takes car of me when I take my Hyundais in for service. He is very polite and always makes sure that I am well cared for if I need a loaner. I have never had an issue and they always go the extra mile to make the service experince comfortable.
  • Love The Car - Hate the Dealer

Bought a new Elantra and love it. The sales, and now the service, experience is horrible. I worked with the internet salesperson and was switched to the sales manager the moment ZI walked in - he didn't trust the woman doing internet sales. This guy was a control freak - the sales people had to come into his office to get bottle water he kept in a little fridge under his desk...! It was like a scene from "The Office" only worse. They promised a lot that wasn't in writing and I asked the sales person to confirm in writing to me. She did - free oil changes, etc - but every time I return the car for an oil change they treat me like I'm trying to steal an oil change from them. Yesterday the sales manager confronted me and said that the internet salewoman was no longer there and he knew NOTHING about free oil changes. That did it for me. I love the car, it's so much better than the Honda's I've driven for years... but the [violative content deleted] they have selling and servicing makes me wonder about Hyundai's oversight of the delivery pipeline. They make a wonderful car, if only they could improve dealer sales and service.
