  • If the truth will set you free - Motorwerks BMW is in chains

    Motorwerks BMW deserves no or negative stars - Do your best to checkout the "as is" car and ask the questions you should - it won't matter. What they tell you isn't related to the truth. My "as is" car was looked at by the their mechanics and the sales rep was able to look me in the face and tell me they found no issues or concerns with the car when I asked him. He was also able to remind me the car was sold "as is" when I called five days after I drove it off the lot with its first problem, the check engine light. With the discovery of the oil that had been dripping from car at the same time, I realized too late that I found a BMW dealership that wasn't afraid to doing whatever they needed to sell a car - lie - and then hide behind "as is" legality. Motorwerks BMW had this car in their possession for more than a month and over 1,000 miles from what they listed it at. It was leaking long before I bought it. Omission of key, known information is deceit, it is lying, and it is reprehensible, and it's Motorworks BMW's mode of operation. Old school dealership in action - dishonest and willing to do whatever it takes to make a buck for themselves. When karma pays you a visit, remember the truth you didn't tell, the facts you hid, and understand you have earned it.

    I Bought a used Chevy Tahoe from them (motorwerks) a month or so ago. I bought this vehicle for a secondary vehicle as I have a work vehicle and needed something to haul the kids to their sports in. So in short I barley drove the vehicle, approximately 1-2 weeks after purchasing the vehicle I noticed a noise coming from the engine compartment. I took it in and I was told the motor is shot and has been for a lengthy amount of time. I spoke to Matt Mickelson at motorwerks on several occasions and he stated that they would be willing to see what they could do. Great right? Not so much.....Turns out their idea of making things right was to charge me 2,000$ to fix my motor or replace my motor with a used motor for the same cost. I am frustrated beyond belief and disappointment at their business practices. THE MAIN REASON THAT I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE FROM THE DEALERSHIP WAS FOR PEICE OF MIND THAT THEY WOUDLNT DO SOMETHING LIKE THIS AND IF SOMETHING LIKE THIS HAPPEND THEY WOULD DO THE RIGHT THING! Well shame on me because that couldn't have been farther from the truth. I want everyone to know how they treat people and customers. Please do not buy ANY used vehicles from these people or if you do be prapared for the consequences. Thanks for screwing and taking advantage of me!

    I did MY homework before purchasing a vehicle and when I found it at MotorWerks and Lars was a pleasure to work with and the car was a steal.

  • First BMW and last from here

    I will never buy another car from Motorwerks BMW again. We bought a used X5, when we test drove it my husband mentioned to the sales person that it smelled of burning oil. He said while we filled out the paperwork he would have a service person look at it. We bought the car that day, even though we were not looking to buy that day,but because the sales person said the car would be going off the auction the next Monday ( we bought the car on a Saturday ). Thinking this was such a good deal we could not pass up, we got it. Driving around that weekend we still smelled oil and driving to work the next week the engine and warning light came on telling us not to drive the car or engine would fail. We called the dealer, no one ever looked at the car and because it was not yet 30 days from when we bought the car, our warranty would not be available and it would cost us $5,000 !!! Good thing my husband is in sales and is not a pushover, however we still ended up shelling out $700 !! No one showed us how to work the functions in the suv, we to this day are still trying to figure things out. We got no manual with the car and are just not pleased at all with the salesmanship and service we received. We will be going back to another dealer who treated us like we were somebody and not just looking to make a profit. Plus with all the other cars we have bought in the past ( used ) we have had new tabs sent to us, we had to pay for our own and even pulled over waiting for them to expire because we did not have a yellow sticker in the back and when the police ran the plates, we were not yet listed as the owner ( we were not pulled over for any other reason ie: speeding, etc )

  • Sales followup - post sale

    Waiting 3 weeks now to get our spare key and owners manual. I requested key be held at store for pickup but they sent to home address. UPS has now tried to deliver 6 times. I have asked Motorwerks repeatedly to get package back from UPS since March 9 and we still don't have a resolution and there are zero status updates from the sales rep.

    Excellent experience. I bought a used car. I came in with a reasonable offer with backing of reasons why I thought it was a decent offer. They took it. Very quick and professional environment. It seemed they truely care about customer service.

    Went and looked at a car, decided we wanted it. was told, don't worry it's got a 1000 mile 30 day warranty. We'll fix it! So we bought it. Before we signed the papers the salesman was our best friend. we never got voice mail when we called. It fell apart when we went in to sign the papers.. They have a extremely cocky finance guy, and he'll gladly tell you how good he is, you don't even have to ask him. We actually walked out on him. The GM had to call us and beg us to come back. We did... We signed and went home. 21 days later, no phone call, no plates, no nothing. We drive down to get out plates and have some issues (we thought where covered) taken care of. One issue was a obviously worn out part that would not have passed any inspection (including the 2 they said the car had before we bought it) and one issue they claim does not exist. Our sales man (and most of the management) runs the other way when we walk in the door now. We've owned the car 30 days now, the 21day temp tag is 9 days expired and they still have NO clue when we might see plates for the car. I can't even use the car for work because they require the car have current registration (go figure)

    We are over the moon grateful for the amazing service at Motorwerks. Oliver (sales), Don (finance), and the Sale Manager all went above and beyond to make our experience great! Words to describe the team at Motorwerks are kind, knowledgable, patient, and helpful. Truly incredible customer service!

    From the moment I walked into the dealership, I received excellent care from Clayton N. He was very professional, friendly and patient with me. I knew I wanted a BMW, but was torn on what model and if I should lease or buy. He walked me through several models and found the car just right for me. He also took the time to explain the benefits of leasing as opposed to buying. He found a plan that was affordable and I felt really good about my decision. He promised to have my "pre-owned" car detailed to perfection. He delivered that! Thanks so much for the excellent care, Clayton N.!
