    I use this dealership for all my vehicle maintenance and purchases of new vehicles. I have been pleased with the work they have done on my vehicles, and have had no problems with the work done.

    When the car needed work, LaFontaine was the place to go. Scheduling was easy, the work was done in a timely manner, the report was thorough and all our questions about the car were answered in a way that helped us make decisions about what to do next.

    We were ready to buy a new car. We walked in to LaFontaine Chevrolet in Dexter, MI. Robert was right there to speak with us. He was very knowledgeable and yet very chill, no pressure. He listened to our needs and gave us all the information we needed to decide what we wanted for the best price. It was a very smooth transaction with no pressure. Robert was easy to work with and we felt he was very genuine. We will be buying again soon and we will definitely head back over to this same dealership with the same agent, Robert. Thank you LaFontaine for having such great employees. Everyone there was so awesome and helpful, not pushy either.

    I highly recommend Dale Newman at La Fontaine in Dexter. He made my car buying experience so easy! He has also gone above and beyond to make sure all the details have been wrapped up. He is patient and kind and truly good at what he does. I love my new car!

    I am a 58 year old, male, GM Retiree. Luke Field and Robert Halfacre teamed up to provide the best Dealer / Car Purchase (lease) Experience that I have ever had! Over the years, I have been involved in many (at least 10) car purchases - some, not so good. I would leave feeling like I got "slicked out of my money." With Luke and Robert, I got nothing but straight talk and answers to every question that I had. Those guys made me feel like "I" was in control - not the salesperson. They were available and stayed in contact as the lease process evolved. They figured out how to get me everything I wanted: features on the car, an acceptable payment, mileage amount and excess ware and tear coverage. They also afforded me an agreeable amount for my trade-in (I know because I researched it on Kelley Blue Book and Craig's List prior to negotiating the amount). Then, they had the new car delivered to my home!! I have never heard of such a thing! What a country! What a dealership! I mean it! I have a renewed hope for GM and it's dealer network if they all can emulate Lafontaine and their practices! Can you tell that I am a happy customer? Hope so, because I am! I love my new Malibu! Thanks so much for making the customer the most important part of the purchase/lease experience! You got it right!!

    I have had a relationship with the dealership since the 70's, before it was Lafontaine, but this was my first purchase there since the change. One of my fears was that it would lose the personal, family touch it had as a small independent dealership. However, I found just the opposite. Kevin Stevens, my concierge; Jermey Phelps, the sales manager; Steve Taylor, the finance manager; and my salesman, Jim Nuttall were all very personable and attentive. All were willing to just "chat" a bit with me on numerous topics, none of my questions went unanswered, and all of the business elements were handled with the utmost professionalism. This was one of the best purchase experiences I've had in my 70 years of life. The frosting on the cake is that my wife loves her new Equinox!

    I was recently surfing the net and noticed a $9.95 oil change offer at this dealership. The coupon linked to LaFontaine Chevy's scheduling system and I made my appointment. Service Writer Scott looked offended when I presented the coupon I printed off the internet saying, "You're lucky, we took all these off the web." He proceeded to cross out the complementary services normally provided with an oil change (tire rotation, fluid checks) and told me to wait. An hour and a half later he said I was all set, but there was no invoice at the cashiers. Ten minutes later, he came out and indicated my car needed over $2500 in service (YEA, RIGHT)

    Had a good experience with LaFontaine Chevrolet. The dealership is not nearly as nice as some other fancy dealers, but the salesperson was very low key and spent as much time as we needed. They were great about email and found the right car for us. We had a minor adjustment to our brand new vehicle they accommodated quickly. Will buy our next Chevy here.

    My wife Paula and I were very much impressed with our experience at LaFontaine Chevrolet and are extremely pleased with our new Impala. We were met at the door by Robert H. with a smile. His pleasant mannerisms and professional skills are indeed commendable. We had many questions and concerns and did not expect to make a major financial decision that day. This dealership was quick to respond to my email inquiries and did use my time well throughout the purchase process. Because of Mr. H. as well as the entire staff at LaFontaine Chevrolet, my wife and I have a brand new, sharp looking Impala. A very warm thank you to all at LaFontaine Chevrolet.

    I have used Dexter Lafontaine for service on three different GM vehicles and they are always done right and on time. Service is friendly and helpful.

    I had actually been referred to another dealer by Costco, but felt as though they weren't working with me at all. And I had visited a second dealer completely on my own with an even worse experience from the first. Robert and the crew at Lafontaine in Dexter made me feel completely at home. They did their best to find what I wanted and what fit my budget. Robert made suggestions from what was in their inventory and offered to search other dealer inventory if needed. I never felt like I was left waiting for no reason, everything was explained clearly and upfront. There was no pressure to buy and I didn't feel like I was held hostage. Other dealers would take my keys, registration, or insurance certificate and I wouldn't get them back until I asked for them when I wanted to leave. I can't say enough good things about Robert H and the whole gang at LaFontaine Chevrolet in Dexter. They go out of their way to make you feel like part of the family and not just another sale.

    Last year I purchased a New '11 Chevy Equinox LT from Lafontaine Chevrolet in Dexter, MI. I am recommending our salesman TONY DUNCAN! You can tell him the Hathorne Family sent you. He'll definitely help you out no matter your credit! TONY is caring, humble, honest, easy going, straight to the point, & gets you exactly what you need/want! He also took the time to give my restless Toddler son a drink & toy car! He listened to all of my concerns & answered all of my questions, without beating around any bushes! Matter of fact EVERY ONE at the Lafontaine Chevrolet were wonderful, smiling, and welcoming. It really is like family HERE, definitely WORTH the hour drive! The day I picked up the vehicle, Tony had it clean, full tank of gas, even took the time to set up my blue tooth, walk me through all the technology, & the features! If your looking to buy or lease a new car & DON'T want to deal with pushy, beat around the bush, white lie, salesman.... Tony Duncan is YOUR MAN! Thank You everyone at Lafontaine for making an easy, enjoyable experience out of buying a vehicle! I'll be seeing you soon!
