Was excited about bying a used from this dealership, but regreted big time
by 03/04/2023
onI was so excited about purchasing the 2016 Honda Fit from this dealership last Saturday, and leaving a positive comment about my experience because the sales person Peter was so nice and helpful. But less than a week after, my excitement completely vanished when I discovered a piece of a corroded metal on the very bottom of the front passenger door. The metal is corroded to the point that it falls off when you touch it. And I paid more than $15K for this car. Before purchasing I inspected the vehicle but not the bottom of the front passenger side. Silly me. I should have inspected every inch of the car. And of course, the dealership did not tell me about the corrosion on that door upon signing the bill of sale and taking the money. Fixing that corrosion will probably cost me about $1K. I called the dealership and explained that they sold me the car with the corrosion damage that depreciates value of the car. All they told me during the call is that the vehicle has passed the safety inspection and they don’t fix cosmetic damages on used vehicles. So I am left on my own to fix the corroded metal on my newly purchased car from Hyannis Honda. Please be very careful when purchasing used cars from the dealership because they might seem very nice when you are signing the bill of sale, but then you will be left on your own dealing and fixing your car's corroded body week abter the purchase.

service work preformed is not what was quoted
by 05/14/2018
onI was quoted a price for a set of 4 tires and I paid for them, then I picked up my vehicle, when I arrived home I looked at my tires and they were not the tires I ordered. without even a telephone call they decided to select a brand of tire for me, without first consulting with me, I am shocked this accrued, very poor judgement on the dealerships management. they claim the tire i wanted after i called the the very next, was no longer available. a quick search and i found them, their seem to be a difference in pricing, if they had bothered to call me i would have agreed to the increase in pricing, but that never happened. now i am stuck with a set of 4 tires i do not want on my vehicle. i will no longer recommend this dealership to any one of my friends or family member's, who have purchased vehicles from them in the past . as of today all business stop's. this is so terrible to have happened, and should have resulted in the Honda dealership trying to meet customers expectations and satisfaction. that never seemed to cross their mind the loyalty, trust, and their excellency has been lost today.

Wouldn't go anywhere else!

onBought my 5th car from Hyannis Honda and Denis G.(salesperson). Always have a great experience, good price, honest about the car's attributes. The car I bought from Denis in 2003 (an Accord) is still on the road and working well. LOVE this dealership!

Recent New Honda Purchase
by 09/19/2013
onMy wife and I purchased a new Honda Accord this past week and were pleased with the way we were treated, especially by our salesman, Jake R. He was very professional and did not try and push us into buying a car. Overall very good experience. Henry Walsh

First Good Experience with a Dealer
by 09/12/2012
onI have to say I have purchased a lot of cars, like most everyone, and I have never had a good experience with a dealer, always something. I can honestly say that this dealership experience was the best I ever had. My guy was honest, got, me my car quickly, and most importantly, I was not pressured at the end of the deal to sign a service contract that I did not really need. I will be back.

Geoff Gianpapa is the BEST!
by 08/31/2012
onThis is the first time in my life that I was 100% satisfied with the Dealership as a whole. The process was made pleasent by the entire staff. No high pressure sales here, kudos to the sales manger, just good follow up and action. Geoff was outstanding in every way and even when busy he made my wife and I feel like we were his priority. If you are looking for a Honda look no further. Give them a shot to win your business. You will not be dissapointed. We just moved to the Cape and now we have a great car to enjoy it with. Thanks to all!

A true pleasure
by 04/20/2012
onEverybody at this dealership was friendly and helpful. They gave me the best price right upfront and happily completed the deal with no issues. I have purchased many cars and this was by far the most pleasant experience. I would purchase from them again any time. Thank you Hyannis Honda!

Super Dealer
by 02/29/2012
onI'm a long time customer but was lured into trying Off-Cape. I fell victim to the advertising but found out that I already had the best dealer. There was NO pressure at Hyannis, the salesperson was personable and knowledgeable and all the others I dealt with were the same. I've loved the service department for years and now know that it's not always less off-cape and the service is wayyyy better on-cape.

Didn't deliver what they promised
by 04/21/2011
onIn all fairness, I am the only person I know who had a bad experience with these folks but I won't go back. Car was delivered with a dent in the hood. Dealer said that they would contact us to set up a time to fix it--never heard from them. Car had no owners manual. dealer said they would get it to us within two weeks. It took 4 months and 3 phone calls. Car was delivered with no radio antennae. Finally gave up and bought one on-line for $38.00. When I compare this to the experience we had buying from the local Toyota dealer -- even though the used Toyota was significantly less money than the Honda -- it makes me think that Hyannis Honda in the end, just wants to push the tin out the door. I won't be going back.

Disappointed with every interaction at Hyannis Honda service department.
by 01/15/2009
onI almost hate to write this review, I had such a great experience with the Sales Department when I purchased my new Honda here 5 months ago. However, every single time I have brought it in for service I have been more than unimpressed. I had started to notice a snapping sound when making turns or backing up. After several trips to the Service Department to identify this problem, it was finally diagnosed as being a defective part. At first I was told that it was just how the new electronic power steering was supposed to sound. I knew that was not the case since the noise had started about a month after I purchased my vehicle and it was progressively getting worse. So, common sense was telling me that there was a mechanical issue of some sort. Ok, so they had to order the part from Honda and I was told that I would need to return yet again for the repair and they would notify me by phone when the part arrived. After a week and a half I figured I would check on the status of the part needed for my repair. I called the Service Department and I was told the part had come in about four days ago and they had left a message on my mobile phone. They never called me and there was no message left if they did. They told me that they were about to return the part to Honda since I had not called to arrange a appointment?! So far not the end of the world. I went ahead and scheduled the appointment. I was told to make it as early in the morning so that I would have better odds of receiving a dealership loaner vehicle. This repair job was going to take roughly four to five hours to complete. I arrived for my appointment at 7:45, just about fifteen minutes before the doors opened. I had to take the day off from work and drive the 50 miles up Cape to get there. I checked in with the service advisor, who was to their credit extremely polite and professional. I was told that they do not have loaner cars available and I would have to sit and wait. I would have made other arrangements if that was going to be the case. It is a warranty issue due to a defective part after all. I guess the whole point of this review is if you have to get your service performed there, make sure you communicate with them because they sure won't with you. If I knew I'd be sitting in a Service Department week after week I would have just kept my old vehicle. I did not buy a new car so I could drive it back and forth to and from service appointments.

Hyannis Honda buying experience
by 06/19/2008
onThis was my first experience with this dealership and Honda. We bought my wife a new Kia at the same time, and what a night and day experience! Honda was very professional and low pressure. They were very helpful and worked very hard to get our business. They delivered everything they said they would, and when they promised. I am sure that when the Kia is due to be replaced, we will buy from Hyannis Honda again. Very pleased with the experience.......

Hyannis Honda Service
by 06/19/2008
onI have brought my 07 truck in on two occasions since I got it new last year. The first was for the emergency brake cable which got snagged on something in the first week I had it. They gave me a ride to work, and replaced the cable at no cost to me. The second was for the first scheduled service. Their facility is very comfortable (tv, recliners, cofee, etc.), and they got it done when they said they would. They were very pleasant and professional.
