Was excited about bying a used from this dealership, but regreted big time

onI was so excited about purchasing the 2016 Honda Fit from this dealership last Saturday, and leaving a positive comment about my experience because the sales person Peter was so nice and helpful. But less than a week after, my excitement completely vanished when I discovered a piece of a corroded metal on the very bottom of the front passenger door. The metal is corroded to the point that it falls off when you touch it. And I paid more than $15K for this car. Before purchasing I inspected the vehicle but not the bottom of the front passenger side. Silly me. I should have inspected every inch of the car. And of course, the dealership did not tell me about the corrosion on that door upon signing the bill of sale and taking the money. Fixing that corrosion will probably cost me about $1K. I called the dealership and explained that they sold me the car with the corrosion damage that depreciates value of the car. All they told me during the call is that the vehicle has passed the safety inspection and they don’t fix cosmetic damages on used vehicles. So I am left on my own to fix the corroded metal on my newly purchased car from Hyannis Honda. Please be very careful when purchasing used cars from the dealership because they might seem very nice when you are signing the bill of sale, but then you will be left on your own dealing and fixing your car's corroded body week abter the purchase.
