by Len Kapcala on 01/28/2023KUDOS TO GEORGE, JOE, AND CAIO OF LEXUS OF TOWSON! We recently bought a new 2023 RX 350 hybrid SUV at Lexus of Towson and had a great experience! Initially, we met Mr. George Zicopoulos, a sales consultant, who was most helpful. He… informed us about the various cars which seemed to be of interest to us and arranged for us to take a test drive. Unfortunately, the car which we were most interested in was not available for a test drive but he told us when one might be available in the near future. Most importantly, he informed us that the RX350 hybrid was in high demand and that an option for obtaining one was to give a deposit to reserve one for us based upon a known allocation of such a car to Lexus of Towson or by specifying the the car we would like and letting him reserve the car for us when such an allocation was made to Lexus of Towson. Shortly thereafter, we spoke to George and he let us know that they had received 2 car allocations which might be of interest to us and that he had a new brochure on the RX 350 2023 line of cars. When we picked up the 2023 book, we received the specifications of the 2 recent car allocations and reserved one which was to be built in a few weeks and to be delivered some weeks later. We subsequently learned that there was a hiccup in our reserved car from the Sales Manager, Mr. Caio Da Cruz who apologized for the problem and assured us that he would focus on getting us the car we wanted by searching nationwide for a trade from another dealership of a car allocation of our desire. Soon after he called to inform us of the good news that he had located a car which we wanted and could reserve it and and negotiated a good price with us with some compensation for the hiccup which had occurred. A few weeks later Mr. Da Cruz confirmed that our reserved car had been built and was on its way to Lexus of Towson. A few days later we were surprised but delighted to hear from George that our car had arrived in Towson and could pick it up on the next day, approximately a month earlier than what we had initially expected. We were excited to pick up our new car and finalize the deal but had some anxiety about whether the everything would be as expected or not because we had not bought a new car for ourselves in many years and did not always have a good experience previously with the final purchase of a new car. However, much to our surprise, everything went as we had hoped it would be and we are happy to say that it was a great experience at Lexus of Towson up to the end of our purchase. George Zicopoulos showed us the car and spent quite a bit of time reviewing its operation including a lot of the technology. George also completed some paperwork with us and Caio Da Cruz, Sales manager stopped by to greet us. We subsequently completed the paperwork for the purchase of the car and and titling/registration and also reviewed options for an extended warranty very factually with Mr. Joe Sikorsky, Business/Financial Manager. Of great relief to us, the price for the car and money we owed was exactly what had been agreed to previously! Of additional note, there was a minor problem with the car but George assured us that he would address the issue and have the car ready for pickup the next day, which was the case! We love our new car and were most impressed with the great experience of this purchase at Lexus of Towson! At no time did we feel pressured by George Zicopoulos to do anything and found him to be friendly, pleasant, and always trying to be helpful in any way we desired. He also followed up with us a few days later with a call to see how we were doing and if we had any questions or problems with our new car. He also subsequently e-mailed us to offer us an opportunity to schedule a time with him to review any questions about operating the car. We consider that his behavior throughout the whole experience demonstrates that he is an outstanding and excellent sales consultant, and also a nice person! We also compliment Mr. Sikorsky for being so friendly, pleasant and professional with the final purchasing paperwork. Finally, last but not least, we were most impressed with Mr. Caio Da Cruz, Sales Manager, for the excellence he exhibited by apologizing and accepting responsibility with the hiccup with our originally reserved car, and for his exceptional diligence in finding us a car we wanted, and then negotiating a final price which seemed fair to us and also to Lexus of Towson. Overall, we found our experience at Lexus of Towson to be great and far exceeded what we had expected it might be for buying a new car. We look forward to our continued interactions with Mr. George Zicopoulos regarding learning about the car’s operation and extensive technology and also plan to have our car serviced there. We hope that out experience with the service department will be as great as it has been with the sales department. We highly recommend considering buying a car at Lexus or Towson and dealing with the people we have had the pleasure to meet and interact with there. by EbruYucel on 05/19/2019Wow, what an inspiringly pain-free experience. Cassidy Drummond is the best sales representative I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I came to Lexus of Towson after having mediocre (at best) experiences at other Lexus dealerships,… one of which I leased my 2016 NX at. When it came time to turn in the vehicle, I decided to give Towson a shot given that my father has also had great experiences here. Cassidy laid out my options, didn't put pressure on me at all, and answered every question I had. He truly worked with me and did his best to offer the best deal possible. I left with a 2019 NX because of that sense of comfort that he provided; I am extremely grateful to have worked with him and plan to continue doing business with this dealership, as well as sending family and friends here. Fast forward to my 5K service. I had the pleasure of working with Chelsea Django. She was extremely sensitive to the limits of my schedule and provided service that absolutely surpassed my expectations. She is extremely knowledgable and straightforward. My SOS light was constantly red, which is understandably concerning for a brand new car, but she eased my tension with a thorough explanation and plans moving forward. Thank you to the Lexus of Towson team for always providing exceptional service with a friendly presentation! I don't know what the leadership here is doing, but its working! by RichardKrauss on 07/24/2018My journey from Savannah GA to Massachusetts was delayed by an unexpected road hazard and appearance of the engine light on the dash of my RX 330. It was 7:30 am, and I drove to Lexus of Towson. With no appointment, Service Manager Bill… Mortimer took my vehicle first to get the problem diagnosed, repaired and hopefully back on my way. Service rep. Andy Woo took care of getting me into a loaner vehicle for the duration. The eventual news wasn’t good as my road hazard resulted in engine issues beyond repair. After a long day, I was back on my way in a rental vehicle leaving behind my RX for the insurance adjuster. I’m writing this review to commend both Bill and Andy for their courtesy, professionalism, time and assistance through the whole ordeal, with Andy even helping me transfer the contents of my vehicle to the rental. Their concern for me and the situation was genuine, and I appreciate and thank them for everything they did afterward working with my insurance agents. by Nancy on 07/11/2018I went there because they were the only ones with the car my son wanted so i made an appointment to go see the car which was 2 1/2 hours from were i live and got there made a deposit and was told they would deliver car but they lied and… the service was horrible would not recommend this dealership to nobody, even after the purchase i didn't get my tags for the car for 3 weeks almost when the temp was expired i had to get in contact with them. I took my car in for a state inspection and Lexus told me it needed $4,900 is repairs. Hearing this news… made me very upset. I voiced my concerns and they promised me $2,900 in goodwill credits, $2,400 from corporate and $500 from the service department. I have each statement in writing - an email from corporate and a note from the local Service Director, Jason. Upon hearing that I had an independent service contract, Caritza (Cari), the service representative, said that Lexus was rescinding all of the goodwill per its corporate policy. I asked for a copy of the Goodwill Policy since it was never discussed prior to this nor was it in any of the documentation that I received from Lexus. Cari contacted Wayne, Corporate Operations Director, Len Stoler Automotive, and he sent her an email stating the Goodwill Recision Policy, which was just three bullet points in an email, which she forwarded to me. I requested a written copy of the Goodwill Policy from Wayne in order to read, for myself, the points he stated in his email. He replied via email with the following: "It is an internal policy that I created for the company 15 years ago. I have no desire to release internal documents." 12/26/17, 2:19 PM. So, my understanding is that Lexus has a policy by which it wants customers to abide and Lexus will not provide a written copy of that policy. Sounds more like Badwill. In addition, Lexus would not release my car until I paid the bill. I asked to speak Jason concerning the charges but he was conveniently out of the building. I expected so much more from a luxury car brand. SHAME ON YOU LEXUS OF TOWSON.Excellence

Pleasantly Surprised!
by lanie3546 on 09/23/2017I have to start by saying that I never write a review unless my experience is exceptional in EVERY way! I am also very hard to please and I do my homework before buying. I started with Towson Lexus because if you buy anything but a Lexus or… Toyota you are crazy..these cars last for ever and are TROUBLE FREE. Second, I have an '08 IS250 purchased here and their customer service is FANTASTIC! Like most people, I really don't like the car buying process because it always seems to be about the dealer's best interest (especially when you are female!) but this was different. My sales person, John "hawkeye" made me feel like he really cared about what I wanted and what he needed to do to make me happy. a GENUINE care for the customer REALLY goes a long way! He gets that this is not just another commission for him but a big deal and major investment for the person in front of him! He took the time to look into different options for me and explain all the great things about each car along the way with no feeling of being rushed to BUY! Kind of like buying a car from my brother...hmmmm...who wouldn't like that? And then the dreaded financing office...WAS GREAT!! Again, a feeling like I was working with family. Soon Oak was so personable and funny, she made the process not only a breeze and painless but actually ENJOYABLE!...imagine that! Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time with other places when you will get great treatment here!Alayne, It really means a lot seeing passionate reviews like this from our guests, it's great knowing our team still treats everyone like family and gets them in the best possible vehicle for the best possible deal. Got dinged twice with delivery charges
by Cheated on 05/27/2017Purchased a 2017 rx350. Courtney who was my sales person was great to work with. Got my vehicle for the price I wanted. Windows sticker clearly stated the $995 delivery, processing and handling fee. When I was signing the paperwork for the… purchase, I had been too trusting and just assumed that they the finance manager had just added the taxes and tags but instead he had tacked on another $975 for dealer delivery fee again. Had gone in the next day to inquire about this charge and was told that every time the car is not sold at sticker, the dealer delivery would be charged a second time. To me, this is a very dirty tactic used to sway a customer thinking he had gotten the vehicle at the price he wanted. Finance manager started off being nice to us but as soon as we did not purchase any products from him, his personality and tone had changed. He had made it sound like I'm the only customer that was stupid to not get a maintence plan or protection plan. I had recently read other reviewers that they had been treated the same way too as they had refused to purchase the products from him. I would certainly deal with Courtney again as the negotiation of the price was clear cut and simple. I would definitely make sure that I will not get dinged twice for a dealer fee. A very unfair tactic used by the dealership.Thank you for the feedback, Daniel.
