  • They’re losing a step

    I’ve been getting my BMW serviced here for nearly a decade. Something has changed - it’s not enough to keep me from coming back (yet) but it’s concerning, because inattention to small things can often lead to bigger problems down the line. In this case, it’s a really minor thing: the last four times I’ve had the car in, they’ve failed to top off the washer reservoir (the last two times I explicitly requested it). The last two times I’ve had it serviced it’s been almost impossible to get an update and the car has been returned to me significantly outside the estimated window (which wouldn’t be a problem if the delay were communicated to me). The last time it was in they didn’t even run it through the wash (again, this is minor). But there have been other issues too, such as forgetting to reset the oil change reminder after doing the change, or calling me to see if another customer’s keys might have been left in my car, or the time my gas cap connection was mysteriously severed in their care (they made it right). Again, these are all, taken individually, minor things. But taken cumulatively they undermine my confidence in the service department. As I said, all of these things are really minor, but they add up to a dealership that promises an exceptional service experience (and charges accordingly), but is increasingly struggling with the small things that contribute to an exceptional service experience. It’s disappointing, since I trust them to do the work - but when small things start slipping how long until something big goes? How much longer can we trust them to service our BMW’s? Sloppiness in the small and easy things doesn’t inspire customer confidence.

  • Service good but slow

    The service was smooth. I have insurance for my runflat tire, but there’s still a $50 deductible. And it took me more than 3 hours to change 1 tire.

  • Used Purchase Nightmare

    My overall buying experience has been quite disappointing. My salesperson promised that this dealership would repair paint damage on the driver side of my vehicle. So, I went to the Hunt Valley Collision Center as instructed. The technicians performed an estimate for this dealership’s consideration. When I called the Collision Center for an update, they stated that BMW of Rockville had declined the estimate and stated that it would use an alternate vendor for the repairs. I messaged my salesperson last week requesting this information and I’ve received no response. I’ve also advised the General Manager of my experience—no acknowledgment. I must admit that I had higher expectations for this dealership and the promises made verbally and via text. If anyone reading this review is considering whether to purchase their next vehicle at BMW of Rockville, please ensure that you get everything in writing and do not accept a vehicle with the promise of a future repair! Be forewarned

    As usual, Jarred took great care of me. Was able to get me in and out the same day WITHOUT an appt. He kept me in the loop, and even found a nice coupon that reduced the cost significantly.     This was the first time going a BMW appointment for my car it was very easy and professional. They explain to me all the problems that his recall had and the solution for it. We though they were busy they’re able to keep me in loop of what’s going with my vehicle, also they were able to let me borrow a charge cause my phone was about to die. BMW service was amazing place and I hope nothing ever changes.

    I went to BMW of Rockville for the convenient location. It's a beautiful space with a variety of models. I was greeted immediately by Nakeya who suggested several models both new & previously owned. I test drove two cars with my husband who has always owned BMW cars. I loved the small sedan & Nakeya sat with me and explained as much as I could comprehend & retain after I committed to buying. It was an easy sell because I know BMW's reputation is excellent, and I really loved the car for the safety features as well as the look. I can't say enough about Nakeya. She has 20 years of experience, is a joy to be with through the process & the paperwork. I really look forward to learning more about my car from her & I will!

    Great service from the AutoNation BMW of Rockville team and my Service Manager, Zach! I had a chassis malfunction warning indicator and the service team did a thorough job identifying the issue as a rear air spring leak. They fixed the problem straightaway and ahead of schedule. I would highly recommend to have your BMW serviced by Zach and the AutoNation BMW of Rockville team.

    My car ran into an unexpected issue where the water pump and coolant system leaked. BMW of Rockville was great, and in particular, Zachary was fantastic every step of the way. He was always communicative and helpful. Helped get a loaner as soon as it was clear it was going to take a week to fix the issue. Glad I can trust them with anything that may arise with my car.

    I just had a fantastic experience with BMW of Rockville, MD. I bought another car from them in 2004 and also had a great encounter. I was immediately influenced with all the positive reviews online and now I know why. This time I purchased a BMW 228 xdrive Gran Coupe and I absolutely love it! I was extremely impressed with all aspects of this company and their customer service. They were very friendly, fairly priced, expedient, and accommodating. The end result was just wonderful. Everyone we dealt with was helpful, friendly, and professional. Especially our Client Advisor- Patrick Yuen and Jose Vielma the sales manager. They were very knowledgeable, patient, fast, and honest.
