Go elsewhere, fast!

I chose this location to lease or buy a new vehicle due to "mostly" positive reviews on various websites. That was a mistake, but I think that people's experiences will vary, and likely will due to your sales person and so forth. My sales person was mediocre at best, and once I leased a vehicle, unless he needed something from me, he has ignored text messages and emails when I needed assistance regarding the vehicle, literally, I think everyone or all but one was ignored (and it was several). A relationship, and yes even at a car dealership, works both ways. You do not just sell a car and then when the customer has questions or complaints, just blatantly ignore them - thus, strike one for the dealership. Secondly, some other persons that work in the dealership will also hound you for things that they need from you, but once again, if you need something from them, forget it; they lack communication between each other or just want to harass their clients, not sure which one it is - strike two for the dealership. Next, I went to pick up my plates for my car at the service window. I stood at the window while someone was actually AT the window playing on her phone and eating chips. I stood there for a few minutes before I finally said excuse me, I am here to pick up plates; extremely poor work ethic, disregard for customer service (in which car sales is a part of) - strike 3 for the dealership. The only positive light at the dealership given my experience, is one of the finance persons (a lady whom I will not mention by name); she is very respectful, timely, thorough, and kind; maybe if she ran the dealership, there would be less unsatisfied clients and there would be improved staff. Long story short, leasing my vehicle from this particular location was one of the worst decisions I have made. I have a long way to go to finish off the lease, but cannot wait for that day to arrive! I will not ever purchase or lease a vehicle from this location again (unless it was owned and operated by the outstanding employee I previously mentioned). I recommend when you go, you analyze the sales people as some may be great at their job, enjoy it, and respect their customers; on the flip side you have some that do not. Also, be prepared to be hounded if things are not perfect for them, but do not expect them to return the favor if you need something :) They will not bend the slightest to help you AT ALL, but they do expect you to be a contortionist if they need something. If I had the money, I would return the car and get one somewhere else. I know people have good and bad experiences at car dealerships, but this was my truly negative experience at a car dealership. First impressions can last a life time and make a significant impact on ones life, and this one surely did. I hope that other people have great experiences at this dealership and not experience what I have or what some others have. I think for the most part, people have a "good" experience there from what it seems. I just suggest you shop around first and do not be bullied into buying or leasing something in which you are unsure of; and just look for little hints from your salesperson on how they may treat you after your purchase is completed! Good luck and good shopping <3 However, being the honest person that I am, I cannot recommend this dealership to anyone. The lack of professionalism, courtesy, and communication at this place is beyond unbelievable. If anyone knows a way to get out of a lease from these people without getting screwed (I think they already screwed me over in more ways than one), please contact me somehow. I wish to end my business with them and never deal with them again. Last but not least, my first visit to the dealership, I was disrespected as a disabled Veteran service member by some members of staff and management; that should have been my first queue to run away! Lastly, manager doesn't fulfill promise to address an issue and doesn't respond to phone calls nor emails.

Salesman Nick Cutlip

AWESOME EXPERIENCE!!! Shopping for a vehicle is never easy for me! I was Blessed to have Nick as my salesman. He was courteous, professional and very patient though-out my personal stressful search. The one thing I appreciate more than anything is to deal with an honest salesman. Nick didn't just try to sell me a car to receive a benefit for himself, he made sure I was placed in the best vehicle to accommodate my needs and long term experience. His personality alone made a huge difference! Thanks Nick for everything :)

Nick cutlip

I have purchased 6 vehicles from ourisman . My salesman everytime is nick cutlip. Nick is very professional, he takes his time to make sure you get the best deal possible. I would consider nick more of a friend instead of the salesman that has sold me my vehicles. I would highly recommend nick cutlip yo anyone that is ever in the market for a new or preowned vehicle. It also helps that Ricky stays in contact with me from time to time to remind me of my vehicle’s maintenance schedule but also introduce me to the new service staff members and new Hyundai models

Shady finance

After processing what all happened, I have decided to WARN other people. They have lost my business going forward. On Thursday 12/29/17, I came in to VIEW vehicles, no real expectations of purchasing until Jan 3 OR later. Checked on the website and a car I was eye-balling (used Hyundai Accent hatchback was prices at 12,500). They also had 2017 Hyundai priced at “Ourisman low price of : 13,330$ (GM stated on 1/3/18 the “end of the year prices had no changed) Anyways, the sales manager stated he could get me in a new 2017 Hyundai for the price I would’ve paid for the used one. (Sounds great right....?) That’s where first round of MISCOMMUNICATION came in. But that wasn’t the real problem. The real problem was the deceit of the financial office. I was told that I HAD to have extended warranty AND GAP insurance in order to keep my APR and current financing. That if I decided not to have it then my interest rate would soar and they wouldn’t be able to make the deal. (By this time I had already been there 5-6 hours). Signed the paperwork went home. Started asking a sales buddy about it and he said, “no, it’s all optional”. Go back up on 1/2/18 to talk to the salesman, sales manager AND financial manager about the “optional” things. Salesman and sales manager were both very good but the finance manager. She kept saying “you have to have these things to keep your financing. But you can end it in 3m if you want but it needs to stay on.” When I kept questioning, I wasn’t met with respect or anything. She started talking to me like I was stupid and a child for questioning her about 3500$ (OPTIONAL COVERAGE) and when I asked why the price was different on the car than what was agreed nobody gave me an answer. I went to my car and was approached by the salesman and I explained to him how I felt that I was just confused. He suggested I go back in and ask questions. This time was even worse. She sorta made a scene about the whole thing. Which just pissed me off. Instant of answering the ACTUAL questions she was dancing around it. Feeling defeated, I left. I called around to other Ourisman (owned by a different brother) and explained the situation and all three people (finance/managers) agreed that it was shady business and that’s not how it’s supposed to be. I called the GM Andy and came in to talk to him. He understood and we decided I would come back on the 3rd and figure things out. Go back the next day. Spoke with the GM and he sales manager agreed that it was in fact a miscommunication. However, I did not get an answer why the ourisman online price for my SAME car was (13,330) and I was paying 16,000.00 for my car. (That’s a big difference)...there were also no dealer stickers on the windows of the accents I saw or test drove. So, I didn’t see, notice or was informed of a “transport fee” to be added All in all I didn’t get many answers. I felt taken advantage of and I won’t do business with them again. Even though there were some great people (salesman) - who was actually concerned AND Honest. Shady. I’ll also be checking into complaining to the attorney general. I’m almost certain this isn’t the first time that this has been done. Considering some of the people actually tried to JUSTIFY her actions. Bad and shady business.

experience buying a car

Buying my car from Nick Cutlip and the whole team at Ourisman Hyundai was a great experience. I wouldn't hesitate to let anyone and everyone to buy a car from Nick and his team. very professional, and will work very hard to make you happy. they have been in constant contact with me to make sure everything is ok and that I have everything I need. I am very happy and satisfied. thanks for everything.

The worst experience ever

It started off great Nick was my salesperson then when verifying my employment Rick Finance Manager sent threatening texts messages to my phone and my supervisor's voicemail. After the vehicle financing was funded. Rick continued to send text messages to my phone. This is the most unprofessional experience I have ever had while purchasing a vehicle. I will Never but another vehicle from Ourisman.

Nick "Super" Cutlip Sr.

Nick is hands down the "BEST" dealership experience I've had in years. I'm an extremely detailed and work as an analyst, so I came ready to talk about details, cars, etc. . Nick was knowledgeable, straight forward, always available for questions or help even after the sale of my Benz. If you go to Ourisman see NICK!!!!!! That's my guy for life. Definitely made my car buying experience a great one and easy to complete. Love my Benz Nick! Thanks!

Each step of my car buying experience was amazing! Joel Kamper was the BEST salesman I could have ever dealt with!! He was so patient with me and was extremely knowledgeable about the Sonata that I bought. Joel Kamper provided top notch service! The entire staff at Ourisman Hyundai was extremely friendly and courteous. I’m going to recommend this dealership to my family and friends. When it’s time for another car, I’m going right back to Joel and his team!

Horrible Customer Service

They run a shuttle service, and told me to be outside my work an hour earlier than I was planning to leave for the day causing me to not finish work I needed to do. I work right up the road from the place and it took over an hour for them to pick me up. The first guy got so lost they had to send a second driver. I don't even work 10 minutes away! It was an hour I could have continued working, and when I complained to the manager he just looked at me like I was an idiot and basically told me it was my problem, not his.

Worst Service Department Ever

I took my car to them and they ended up doing over $4000 worth of damage to the engine and denied doing it! I had to get Hyundai Corp involved who later allowed another dealership to correct the original issue and the dealer-caused damage. DON'T TAKE YOUR CAR TO THEM FOR SERVICE!!!

Mr. Szymkowiak, I would like to take the time to inform you about the performance of the outstanding sales representative, Mr Quintin Amaker, this past weekend. My wife and I just purchased our first new car together as newlyweds and Mr. Amaker made the experience extremely easy and enjoyable. Over the course of two days, and with approval from our new puppy, we came to the conclusion that there was not a better car for us then the Santa Fe, nor a better dealer and sales associate to buy from then Mr. Quintin Amaker at Ourisman Hyundai. Be aware of the

I bought a new 2009 Santa Fe from Ourisman and I was told that every other oil change was free. There's a catch that they don't tell you about when you purchase the car. It's free only if you buy the "recommended" service when you get your "free" oil change. When my wife took the car in for the first "free" oil change, the bill was $43.40 for the oil change, less the oil filter, because she declined the "recommended" service. I can change the oil almost three times for that amount and I can't imagine how much the bill would have been if she hadn't declined the service.

Buying experience

Had Ben Stark, the internet sales representitive, as my salesman. Great buying experience...he wasn't sleazy or deceptive, and we negotiated via e-mail before I went in and bought it for the agreed price (which was below every dealer in town). He did a great job, and I will be going back there for my next car. Other dealers I dealt with online didn't respect my wishes to not call the phone number I provided (I gave the wrong one, so when they told me they couldn't contact me I immediately wrote them off...I told them e-mail was my preferred method of contact). The finance department was a little different story. They are pushy and will try to sell you extended warranties (yes, I know finance departments can be pushy, but this was over the top). Even after refusing they still tried to push the sale, and I almost got upset and threw in the towel. However, it was an overall pleasant experience with Ben as my salesman, and I will return there for my next purchase.
