  • Transmission went bye bye

    My transmission went out just past my dealer warranty, but I had a 3rd party insurance coverage. The team at Autonation Laurel worked with me continuously to make sure my vehicle would be back up and running. It took a little while dealing with the 3rd party but they were patient and helpful and made sure I was updated with every step of the claim process. Scott and Charles in the service dept were a1 and I’d definitely recommend taking your vehicle to see them for any service need.

    Drop my truck off at 8am appointment time and didn’t get my truck back until 12:30. The tech didn’t get started on my truck until 12pm. I will never go to this dealership for service again.

    I came here to get some work on my car a oil change. Turns out I need more things done. There team actually was able to look into the problems I had, help me choose which ones where more important and the ones I can come back to with the list they provided. The one thing I can say is when they have the staff things flow well. However I would not suggest coming in towards the last 2 weeks of the year

    The best experience I had so far in a dealership. Ramel, the sales consultant, was very attentive and made everything possible for us. Jacob, the finance manager, was also very kind and explained every single detail to us. We just stopped by to see the car and at the end, we came back home with it.

  • Horrible Service

    If you can avoid buying a vehicle here I would. They have the worst communication amongst their team and even worst customer service. I spent 2 hours there the first days signing paper work to be able to come back and purchase a vehicle that wasnt even ready. was told i would be contacted the next day, didnt happen, and then when i called told vehicle still wasnt done and to come the next day in the morning. Came back the next day to finish and vehicle still wasnt ready and wasnt touched over the 2 days. Had to come back later that day and re-do the paper work because it wasnt done correctly for me to buy it under my LLC which I was trading in my truck currently under my LLC. Then had to come back 2 more times because they couldnt take my truck as a LLC and both times were not ready to issue me the check from my truck because of lack of communication with their team. By far my worst experience ever buying a vehicle, and nothing was done on their end to even try to make up for it.

    We recently leased a 2022 Chevrolet Equinox LT from AutoNation Chevrolet Laurel, and it was quite likely the best car purchasing/leasing experience we've ever had. The sales consultant, Farid Saidi, made us feel comfortable from the moment he greeted us. We never felt like he was trying to push in one direction or another. He heard what we had to say and did his absolute best to work with us. I wish I could remember the name of the gentleman who gave the final approval to our lease, as he was direct, to the point, didn't try playing "the game" with us, and actually came in below our price point. In addition, we had gotten an offer earlier that day from a competitor to trade in my wife's car. When we mentioned this to Farid, he said that they would beat that offer -- and they did! All in all, this was a great experience for us, and we look forward to a long relationship with AutoNation Chevrolet Laurel.

  • questionable service

    Car in shop 5 days. The engine was hesitating briefly but not often. Mechanics drove the car for 2 days then said that oil was leaking from top cam cover. Was it necessary to drive the car for 2 days to diagnose this problem or could it have been found by having a look at the engine first? Did driving it make it worse? At any rate, I paid $850 for the repair and the car is running well now. When I picked up the car the gas tank was empty. There was a greasy film on the hood of the car which needed to be cleaned twice. After I looked under the hood and put the hood back down, a piece of trim fell off and I cannot get it to stay on.

    I came in looking for a used 2011 Silverado that I saw for sale online. At the time I first went there it wasn’t ready and was going though inspection. The sales woman said she would hold the truck for me so when it is done I would be able to look at it. Came back when it was done, took it for a test drive and it was the truck for me. The people there were really nice and helpful even when I had to leave. Just came back the next day and started where we left off until the deal was done.
