Happy Experience from Consumers Who Didn't Want to Buy a Car
by Happy Car Lessee on 10/03/2022Hello, our 14 year car gave up at a time when we didn't want to get another one. We looked online and saw that Muller was facilitating leases, called up, were assigned to Benny, and went in to see what was on offer. With shipping schedules… in hand, Benny told us what cars were in stock, what was coming in, and what we could order (and wait for). We selected a car already scheduled to come in...and 18 days later, we drove it off the lot. The process was handled entirely by email and website, ending in one in-person visit for signing papers. The entire process was honest, pleasant, and fast. We couldn't be happier with Benny and Muller Subaru.Purchasing a new car has never been this awesome!
by Andrea on 07/30/2022I had been in contact with Joe M. for two weeks about a 2022 Forester Touring. I put a hold on the car that was coming in at the end of August. A 2022 Forester Wilderness became available and Joe immediately told me about it. I came in the… next day and they took care of me. Little did I know Joe was actually off that day but came in to help me with my purchase. I went home with my Wilderness that day. I have to say that their customer service is top notch! I will always come back here for all of my Subaru needs. Great place!Pleasant and smooth buying experience

Over the last 10 year Muller has put us in the 2 Outbacks, 2 Nissan Rogues and a… Honda Pilot. Professional and courteous service; great car buying experience
by AdelBarr on 10/23/2020After having negative experiences at two previous Subaru dealerships, I had my guard up when I went into the Muller Subaru dealership in mid-September. In fact, I told the salesperson assigned to me, Mr. Viktor Vileshin that I did not want… a run-around. I knew what I wanted and how much I wanted to pay based on my previous attempts to purchase a Subaru Crosstrek. Mr. Vileshin assured me that he would be straightforward with me because he wanted my business. Throughout the negotiations, he was respectful, professional, and forthright. When it was time to make the purchase, I realized that I left my bank card at home. Mr. Vileshin was gracious enough to drive me to a nearby bank where I was able to get a cashier's check. The whole experience was in stark contrast to my experience at the other dealerships. I have since recommended Muller Subaru to a few friends who are looking to buy a Subaru vehicle. by Imprezed on 06/17/2019First, coming in, people very friendly & helpful. I worked with Jeff, who was knowledgeable, friendly and was able to find the car I was looking for. Most of all, he was not pushy (I wanted an Impreza w/safety features, but not all of the… bells-&-whistles, & that's exactly what I got)--a pleasure to work with! He also patiently explained how to work some not-so-complicated equipment when I drove in about 3 days after purchasing the car (I'd only owned Volvos since 1989, & I'd been driving my '93 for 26 years, so owning a new Subaru is quite an eye-opener for me). A really nice perk offered by Muller was that of an explanatory appointment, whereby Alex King (who is great--friendly & patient) explained all of the tech & features on the car. To top it off, for coming in, Muller gave me a $25 gas card!Great organizer

Our family had been considering a new car for over a year, and Joseph Lee was our primary point of contact and kept us in the loop on car… availability. by ricbowl on 03/29/2018After usual dealership haggling I ordered a new Subaru on 3/6, deposited $1000, left with a receipt showing balance due at delivery. Go to pick up vehicle on 3/28 to be told they now expect more money for the car. This dealership had 3+… weeks to tell me there was an outstanding issue. If there is any thrill to purchasing a new car they sucked it right out of me. This is not an honorable dealership. Mike the young man who helped me is knowledgeable and tried to make the best of a poor management decision. On my worst day in business I would never treat a customer as I have been treated.Once again, I would like to apologize for your unpleasant experience with our dealership recently. As I mentioned in our conversation, I agree with you 100% that our sales staff and managers should had communicated better. We understand where our mistake came from and I will make sure to go over this situation with all my sales staffs to ensure that this does not happen again in the future. Thank you for your comment.
Muller Subaru and Bob Szmarek are TERRIFIC!
by dscholten on 04/05/2017In 2008 or so I bought a used Subaru Forester that I had found through an online site. It ended up being at Highland Park Motors (I think that's what it was called then) and my sales guy was Bob Szmarek. This year i was ready to buy a… NEW Subaru Forester. I did a lot of research (Consumer Reports, TrueCar, etc) and when clear on the car I wanted, the amount I wanted to pay, and the amount I expected to get on a trade in (Edmunds) I called Muller Subaru and made an appointment with Bob. He was the same friendly, practical, easy to work with guy I remembered from before (and he looked no older! how did he do that?!). We test drove both the Outback and Forester (I was 95% sure I wanted the Forester but I'm a big 'due diligence' gal). He had a clearly thought out route that would allow me to experience many facets of the cars in a short time. Decision made (yep, Forester) we then went about negotiating. It was so easy, fair and pain-free! I showed him what I wanted to pay and why, he went over the numbers, did a grand total of 2 'trips to the manager" and I got a BETTER deal than I expected! Then, the whole experience got even better yet when the 'delivery assistance expert', Austin, helped me understand all the fancy new electronics (cars have changed a lot in the last 11 years). AND - I got a $25 gift care for doing the test drive and will get another gift care for coming back to do follow-up questions with Austin! What a great deal! I HIGHLY recommend Muller Subaru and Bob Szmarek!Good Experience at North Shore Subaru
by bmorton5er on 03/26/2009Went into this dealership after getting the run around at a nearby lot. Spoke with Tom (sales manager) at first and then worked with Naomi (sales associate). I was pleased when Naomi stated she'd worked at that location for many years and… had sold Subaru since the dealer began carrying that make. She was very knowledgeable about the brand and the model we were interested in purchasing. My wife and I had looked at the Legacy at another dealer and had gotten a great quote but that lot only had one model available and it wasn't a color we preferred. North Shore had more selection and had the color we were after. We asked Naomi to match the deal we'd been offered at the other dealer and she worked with us to get there. All in all, it was about as pleasant a car buying experience as we could have hoped for. The sales manager was also a nice guy and seemed to avoid the shtick typically associated with people in such positions. Naomi loaned us her car to take to get lunch while the business manager worked on our paperwork. One other nice move on their part... I mistakenly left some papers in our trade-in and Naomi was nice enough to make sure to take care of that situation for us the next day. She even called to confirm she'd handled the situation. All of this after the car was sold and we were 150 miles away. I thought that was a classy move on her part. Finally, I'll add that the car had one flaw (no arm-rest extender) but the service department installed one for us in about 20 minutes (on a weekend). Impressive!Slow to respond
