  • Thank You Eric!

5 out of 5 starsby MrTomBue on 12/16/2016

Bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee from Eric Eckert a while ago and recently inquired on purchasing a new Infiniti truck. As always, Eric was his friendly, helpful self. He provided answers to all my questions as needed to make the right move. I will be meeting with Eric in the coming days to pick out my Infiniti!

  • My Worst Car Buying Experience

    1 out of 5 starsby TonyTheGreat57 on 06/18/2016

This is my worst experience ever. After I selected a vehicle an appointment was set, I was very excited since I was looking for this vehicle for a long time. Anyhow when arrived at the dealership to my surprise I was told that the vehicle I have selected (and all similar models) are on a recall and I cannot purchase any of them (seriously)...if that was the case why I was not notified by a phone call or email before my planned schedule visit for the test drive? why? and on top of it all they tried to "up-sell" by telling me we have 2016 models (with no recalls)...you should look at them, why should I? ....it was memorial day weekend and I was so looking forward to get a good deal and "customer service" from this dealership...but unfortunately my experience was very negative. Finally, I bought the vehicle from another dealer with no fuss...I will not recommend this dealership.
  • Car for Son by Diondre and Sharonda Sweezer

5 out of 5 starsby sharondab on 05/05/2016

My husband and I were looking for a car for our son and we seen a 2011 Hyundai Sonata. At first we was dealing with Jeff Walker and it was a very unpleasant experience and put a very bad test in our mouth, this was our first time at the dealership. However, Andreas Korallus save the day. He heard and listen to our concerns about the other sales rep and made sure we had the best services. He told us that he was a newer sales rep but based on his knowledge about the car that we was purchasing and his super superb customer service, you would have thought he had year’s experience. I will most defiantly refer others to him and the dealership and I will defiantly purchase again from him. Andreas Korallus went over and beyond to make our experience great and also made sure the car was perfect from scratches etc. before we surprised our son. He stated that he wanted to make it perfect for our son and for that I am most grateful. My son loved the car. We also will like to thank Peter Korallus for stepping in and handling the situation that we encounter with Jeff walker and Bill Harris for getting my paper work done in a timely matter as well as Andres Cordero for explaining to me different products I can add to my car. Thanks Diondre and Sharonda Sweezer

I had an amazing experience with Greg Turner. He was able to find the perfect car for me and was helpful throughout the entire experience. I would strongly suggest buying from Infiniti of Clarendon Hills and specifically Greg Turner.

  • Salesman lied

1 out of 5 starsby WhiteTLS on 09/18/2015

Found the vehicle online and started email communications with Breanna. She was excellent answering all my questions. Dealership lowered the price since Timing belt has not being done. Acura/Honda need Timing belt replaced at 105k miles. Was little pushy since it was end of the month for them and they want the sale. I need vehicle quickly before school starts and this was the only TL Type S that was close to me, although I was more than 350 miles away. Agreed to the price and was introduced to Adam Fick and Gary Muller. Paid them a deposit to hold the car. Talked to Adam couple of times and he sat in the vehicle and answered all my questions. Was told there was nothing wrong with the car. I also asked if all the keys and carpet were there and was told by Adam that everything is there. Decided to buy the car and drove 6 hrs from Minnesota with a friend to pick the car. Saw the car and immediately found that car had tinted windows, right rear door panel torn and Adam said only one key avaialbe. I was disappointed at him. Why you did not disclose this to me. Tinted windows no big deal but torn door panel and only one key really made me mad. Adam lied to me over the phone. He told me he will contact previous owner for the keys and to give him a week. So I paid cash and bought the car. Siging paper work took some time too. Also charged me $195 for documents fee. What the hell, I paid cash, give a me receipt let me go. I understand if I had financed, lot of paperwork envoled, but I paid cash. After a week I called and emailed Adam several times about keys, kept saying can't get hold of previous owner. I told him to pay for a key and I will pay for programming at an Acura Dealer, which is another 85 miles from where I live, but they refuse to do that. A new key and programming cost $300. Not only they lied to me about the keys initially when I talked over the phone , they did not want to correct their mistake and buy a key for me. So for buyers from long distance, be careful what this dealership tells you. For the dealership and Adam, be honest and disclose all the facts truthfully. Customers like honest people and they will come back for your service. YOU WERE NOT HONEST WITH ME AT ALL.

Be very careful buying from this dealership. I went in to buy a car. Sales rep was my friend for well over 7 years. I see this 2008 BMW 535xi in the lot. He tells me it passed there inspection. I said ok I'll buy it. I did not even turn the car on. This is how much I trusted the guy. 2 weeks later the car says low engine oil level. I take it to BMW dealer and here we go $12000 recommended repairs. Major thing is engine oil leak and transfer case repair both are a must to repair ASAP . I go back to the dealer. My ex friend does not pick up my phone call; so I ask who is in charges I meet the manager and I tell him what is going on with the car. He says make an appointment with service and we will see what we will do I say but engine oil is leaking I do not feel comfortable driving it he says ok will get you a loaner and check the car for you. This takes 2 hours to be done. A week later they call me and say we will not do anything to the car you bought it as is The parts cost are $95 from BMW dealer I said ok I'll pay the $95 and you fix the car and they say no we will not So be very careful if you consider buying from this dealership
    • We are sorry that your experience was so frustrating. At Infiniti of Clarendon Hills, we do offer a return policy to help save face when and if something like this happens, however, we can only extend that offer for 7 days for used cars bought from our retail department. However, the vehicle you purchased was bought under wholesale agreement, which you were aware of. You did not purchase through our retail sales department. A wholesale agreement is sold as is. But please, recall that we went through the trouble of checking and adding fluids to make sure you still had a positive experience with us. You cannot expect a complete customer service experience when buying wholesale values Your salesperson, and friend, was only helping you purchase the vehicle at a price you were comfortable with. If anything gets past one of our mechanics, it doesn't make sense to blame the salesperson. The mechanics here put all of our retail used vehicles through a rigorous 228 point inspection. Our standard of quality is above all else and we strive to make all of our customers happy. Unfortunately these things still happen once in a while, and that's why we offer an exchange policy. If you have any further comments or concerns, feel free to contact Peter Korallus, the General Manager, at 630.468.9000.

I had time remaining on a leased vehicle, so I was not expecting to purchase a new car as soon as I did. The car could sell itself, but everyone I dealt with made the experience so easy and pleasant, it hardly seemed like buying a car at all. They are very nice people to deal with, and from what I've seen of their service department, I feel certain this will be a long term relationship.

  • What a Car Dealer Should Be Like!

I live in SW Ohio but checked availability of car I'm interested in on many web sites. This dealer was mentioned favorably in an Edmunds Review so I e-mailed them. The car I'm interested in is a Infiniti JX which is brand new and in limited supply. I received outstanding e-mail replies to all my questions and did get a slightly reduced e-mail price quote. I did not qualify for the VPP program that Infiniti offers for new car buyers since I was not associated with one of their suppliers, etc. I would have definitely bought the car here if I could have qualified for the lower price. I have decided to wait until this summer when the supply will catch up with the demand and Infiniti will lbe offering some discounts. At that time, I will contact this vendor again and see what deal I can get. The current offer, although $500 below MSRP is the same as I can get from the local dealer. Looking forward to this summer. I can't say enough about the professionalism of this dealer. Dealing with them was a true delight. Just wish I could have bought the car here.
