FALSE ADVERTISING AND LIES
by neveragain12 on 01/02/2009My husband and I drove 1 hour to this dealership to purchase a Hyundai Sante Fe. They are sold out all over Atlanta. We were not interested in any other car. We sat there for almost 3 hours and after that time a manager approached us and… said we couldnt have that car and he wanted to put us into a "different car". That was only after we refused to pay $450 a month for a 14k car! After that personal insults were flying and he began speaking to us as if we were criminals! He made personal remarks about how I didnt have "perfect credit"..who needs perfect credit to buy a car? He also insisted I could not prove income when I printed out 3 months worth of BUSINESS bank statements and certainly DID prove income. Then we found out the car advertised for 14995 on autotrader was now 15999 and he didnt have to honor what was advertised because basically he wasnt selling the Santa Fe to us! Again insisted on putting us into a more expensive car. Do NOT go to this dealership if you are not interested in an American car. They will only sell you Ford. A trick to get you in there to sell you what they need to , to keep business open. HUGE SCAM! The finance manager is a [violative content deleted] to talks to customers with GOOD credit and MONEY down with insults and disrespect. Horrible experience and they couldnt beg me to come back!Sales experience
by lewis61 on 02/28/2008I bought a used 2005 Chrysler Crossfire from this dealership. I found a torn weatherstrip around the convertible top and asked about it. Of course the two salesman, Mike Michaels and Tim Mathis, said they new nothing about this. This is… after I asked both to give me every detail about this car before I drove 3 hours to basically purchase it. Tim got on the phone and 20 minutes later told me it was still under warranty and repair would be covered. (The car had a little over 29000 miles on it). I really just wanted to know the cost of repair but hearing it was under warranty made it even better. I trusted these salesmen to tell me the truth (I know, why). I buy the car, get to my local Chrysler Repair shop and the first thing the tell me is the car's warranty EXPIRED in November 2007. I called Mike about this and asked him to explain. He said he would call back. It's been 3 days and no word. I sent an e-mail to the General Manager, Mike Davis. He said he would be back in touch after he had a talk with these two salesmen. That was yesterday and no word...These people lie to your face. Do not deal with them. Do not trust them.Avoid at all costs!
by atlanta1101 on 01/07/2013updated 07/24/2025The staff that we dealt with at Courtesy Ford were very rude, dishonest and unprofessional. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone, ever. Our salesman rolled his eyes when I asked questions, the "sales manager" raised his voice at… me when we were trying to work out a deal. We did purchase a car, because we were able to get a good deal. However, we got a loan from my bank, and were able to bypass all the extra fees that the finance manager was trying to add on. Our salesman would not even clean the car, put any gas in it or even give us the code to the door keypad! In addition, the miles that the car was advertised for on their website was about 4,000 off from what the car actually had on it. This dealership is rude, dishonest and unprofessional. Please avoid it at all costs! We were first time car buyers, so we didn't really know any better. Please learn from our mistakes!
