Great!
So glad I came HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
by bunnie1957_ on 02/06/2017Went to Ed Voyles on Saturday and really this dealership. Was looking for a car and know what I wanted. The Kia Soul. Well, Annalise Morning was just excellent. She went over and above helping me with the vehicle. She took her time and was… always smiling( which I loved). She was not pushy ( which I hate) and she explain everything to me. Made sure I was happy. Took a little longer that I expected, but the end results turn out fantastic. She even hooked up my Bluetooth. I love my Soul, and I will definitely will be telling everyone I know about Ed Voyles andto please ask for Annalise Morning. Thank you again Annalise!!!!!Paul Brown is awesome! Love my new 2016 Kia Soul!
by paigeski on 11/30/2016Had an exceptional experience with Ed Voyles Kia Chamblee. Paul Brown was my salesperson, and my boyfriend and I couldn't have had a more personable experience. All of our needs, questions, and hesitations were addressed before we needed to… speak them, and Paul was wonderfully candid throughout our whole purchasing experience. I feel like we got an unmatched deal because of how honest Paul and Annaise Morning were as they walked us through every step of the process. Both Piotr and Andy were totally up-front and understanding about every detail about our financing options and paperwork. From the moment we submitted an appointment contact form and were connected with Kai, to snapping some social media pictures with Paul before driving off the lot, it was a great experience - and I'm planning to go back for a free Saturday morning car wash this weekend!Great Experience
by C_Gates on 07/27/2016I recently bought a 2017 Sorento to upgrade my almost 13-year-old VW Jetta. Otha Winston and Johnathan Bradley were attentive to my needs and questions, took me out on multiple test drives in several vehicles, and were diligent in making… sure I got the features I wanted in a car that I could afford. The entire experience felt straightforward, honest, and low pressure. I look forward to continuing my relationship with Kia!AWESOME EXPERIENCE!
by koran8463 on 06/22/2016I've been searching for a car for my college daughter. She has a rigid and slight income. we had no room to be flexible with a payment. She and I went everywhere - from lies from salesman, to upselling to a new car to extremely high… interest rates. We were sick of looking. But then we found Ed Voyles. Ahhh. No lies. No BS. No upsell. Just what we wanted. It was a breath of fresh air. Larry and Allan were amazing! I will definitely go back there! Absolutely amazing experience! I have already told my sister in law and another friend to go there.****Jon Bradley & his team are the BEST****
by LexLaw13 on 05/26/2016I just purchased the car I've been leasing for the past 3 years (2014 Kia Sorento which is a great car). I have always and will always return to deal with Jon Bradley and the other members of his team. Even though I live 20+ miles away, I… am willing to travel to this dealership because of the great service and no-pressure style of Jon & his folks. They go way above and beyond for the customer, and are not your typical car sales people by any stretch! I can't recommend them highly enough, I'll never use anyone else for my car purchases!A note of acknowledgement and appreciation for your service team
by Andrew_Atlanta on 05/23/2015I wanted to take this opportunity to acknowledge and express appreciation for the outstanding customer care that I received from several members of your team earlier this week (RJ Lewis, Service Advisor; Tom Smith, Tech; Brian Johnson, Shop… Foreman). In recent weeks I brought my 2004 Kia Sorrento to a local repair shop close to my home where I normally have maintenance and oil changes done on the vehicle. The vehicle was creating a whirring and popping noise on a recurring basis when I would enter into turns, or go in reverse. Additionally, the speedometer stopped functioning and the check engine light came on. The local repair shop diagnosed various things going on, ultimately treating each of the matters in isolation. When I picked up my vehicle when it was ready, I drove it for less than 24 hours and all of the issues I had brought the vehicle in for reoccurred and the steering was becoming tight on occasion. I contacted the repair shop to ask them if they had even done the work they billed for. They had, but said to bring the vehicle back in so I did. When I picked up the vehicle the second time it was ready, it drove fine for the first day. The next day, Saturday, all of the original issues reoccurred. At this point, I was livid, could not trust the work of the repair shop. I chose to take the rest of that Saturday going to recommended shops and dealerships to ask for a mechanic to ride in the vehicle with me and put the vehicle on a rack to see what they would assess the issue was. Ultimately, on that Saturday and the next Monday I visited 3 other recommended service shops and Ed Voyles Kia Service Center. At Ed Voyles Kia Service Center, yur Service Advisor, RJ, took the time to listen to the situation, and your technician, Tom, spent time that afternoon in the vehicle with me to hear the noise and then look at the car on the rack. When the vehicle was on the rack, your Shop Foreman, Brian, and your technician, Tom, went what I would consider to be above and beyond what would normally be expected to investigate the situation and land on what two of the other three shops had indicated there was an internal failure in the transfer case that was causing the noise and the shearing of the speedometer gear (which then triggered the speedometer to malfunction and the check engine light to come on). Beyond diagnosing the issue correctly, your team also fully understood and cared that due to the experience in recent weeks with the local repair shop, I did not trust auto mechanics in that moment and needed something more than just a solution. In short, I needed to be able to trust. Over the course of 2-3 hours, RJ, Tom, and Brian collectively looked into the work that would need to be done, called the extended warranty company I have a contract with, and more. They also provided a write-up for me to take to the local repair shop on the situation, allowing me the opportunity to see if the local repair shop would either make the situation right, or enable me to seek reimbursement from the local repair shop for $2700+ of work that was done but not needed before bringing the vehicle to you all for the repairs that were needed. In short, your team took care of me as a customer and treated me like a person not a number which in todays world is often not the case, so was greatly appreciated and refreshing. Thank you. Thankfully, the local repair shop did end up deciding to make things right on their own dime, which no doubt was enabled by the work of your team. Though the efforts of your team didnt result in service work for you all this time around, what it did do was restore trust and let me clearly know that when I need future work on this Kia Sorrento in normal circumstances I can come to you and your team so that both my vehicle and me as a person will be taken care of in a way where I will have peace of mind that good work is done and that the people involved can be trusted. When people like RJ, Brian, and Tom, do as they did, it is important that they are recognized so that you will hear from someone who your team serves that you have good folks who I am sure you are proud to have representing your company because of how they are strengthening the reputation of Ed Voyles Kia with the care and trust they exhibit. I am thankful for these men and what they did. Thank you for the efforts of your team, and I will continue to speak highly of your service shop and team with others. If you want to buy a Kia, shop other places.
by Victor_M on 02/08/2015Horrible sales service at Chamblee! If you want to buy a Kia, shop other places. Dealers at this location did play a rough game with me. First of all, they offered me a price for a car that was really shocking (Thank you for that… experience). After a test drive they requested to check my credit and finding it good (damage to credit score!), they refused to acknowledge the price they mentioned, offering a 25% higher price. More to that, they did not match any competitor's prices and were very persuasive and aggressive in pushing me to buy that car. I walked away after an hour of terrible service and negotiations, learning a lesson to never trust a car dealer! No wonder several of their salesman left this place for good. Hope this review will help someone to not to get into their traps :)Great Experience
by nikser5 on 09/04/2014Purchased an '15 Optima from this dealer and from start to finish, very pleased with the process. Haven't been car shopping in some time and was not looking forward to the process but John B. made it enjoyable. From the first time meeting… with him to the last, he did not once pressure us or rush us into a decision but rather suggested we take our time and do our research all the while answering every question we had. He reached out to us only to answer our questions, unlike the many salesmen at other dealerships that hounded us and continue to do so, which we appreciated greatly. Very knowledgeable and made us feel comfortable during the entire process, even continuing to help us through the financing process where we felt very fortunate again in dealing with Frank. Frank gave us many options and listened to what we wanted, didn't have his own agenda. In the end, we walked out with the car that we wanted and enjoyed the process as well. We would definitely recommend this dealer to both family and friends and suggest they ask for both John and Frank. No correspondence after the sale
by MV1972 on 06/13/2014We purchased a vehicle from Ed Voyles Kia of Chamblee. Although we are quite happy with the car, we are appalled at the lack of customer service after leaving the dealership. On May 2, 2014, we purchased a Kia Sorento. We also had a… printed voucher stating that the dealership will offer an additional member discount of $230. The exact print on the pricing certificate stated "Ed Voyles Kia of Chamblee will provide an additional $230 discount off the final negotiated price of this vehicle. You must present your Price Protection Certificate to your Dealer Representative upon arrival at the Dealer". That's pretty black and white. When we presented the voucher during our negotiations, Ryan and Josh showed us a printout and explained that they are unable to take our voucher. The explanation was very reasonable and we accepted it without any further argument. Over the next few days as we were planning our budget to cover the finances, we looked at the certificate again but did not remember the exact explanation given to us as to why it was not accepted. Over the course of the next few weeks, I sent emails to the individuals listed below merely asking for the explanation again - NOT EXPECTING to redeem the certificate. Absolutely no explanation has been given to us. We purchased the car exactly six weeks ago today (6/13/14). The following is the exact timeline of my correspondence: - 1st email sent on 5/16/2014 at 7:24 AM to Josh M. (Sales Consultant), Ryan K. (Internet Sales Consultant) with a CC to Cedric D. (Internet Sales Manager), Sebastien B. (Sales Manager), Sam R. (General Sales Manager), and Elan S. (Finance Manager). This email was my simple inquiry asking why our additional member discount was not accepted. - 1st phone call made on 5/20/14 at 6:22PM and spoke with Elan S. We had purchased a warranty for the car but opted to cancel it. He stated that he will send me the necessary paperwork to process. I asked if he received my email and he confirmed that he did but he was waiting for Ryan and Josh to handle because that is not his area. He also stated that he will let Josh and/or Ryan know to reply back to me. Elan has been the only person that I have been able to communicate with. I do not like communicating via phone call because whatever stated cannot be saved as a hard copy. Emails have time/date stamps that you can flag for follow up. - 2nd email sent on 5/23/14 at 10:56AM to the same distribution list as the first. This follow up email stated that it has been 7 days since my first email inquiry and I have not yet received a reply. I also stated that I was able to talk to Elan on the phone and that I am awaiting my new paperwork with the cancelled warranties. - Elan emailed me on 5/23/14 at 12:30PM a PDF that needed my signature in order to process the cancelled warranties. I filled it out and faxed it back to him on 5/23/14 at 1:01PM. He sent me an email on 5/23/14 at 2:09PM confirming that he received my fax. - 3rd email sent on 6/6/14 at 5:06PM to the same distribution list as the first two. In this email, I stated that it has been almost a month since my first email and again I was only looking for a simple answer to my original inquiry and not expecting to redeem the discount. I also followed up with Elan to see when my new balance (with the cancelled warranties) will show up in my account. The last part of this email mentioned that if I do not receive a reply in a timely fashion, that I will post the negative customer service that I've experienced on consumer websites. - Elan emailed me on 6/6/14 at 5:41PM answering my email. He stated that it could take up to six weeks for my new account balance to be reflected. I thanked him and he apologized. Today is 6/13/14 and a week has passed since my 3rd email. Fortunately, my new account balance is now reflected but I have YET to receive a reply from my original email from 5/16/14! It's just a simple question with probably a simple answer (that my wife and I accepted at the dealership on 5/2/14). This just shows what happens when you ignore a consumer's simple inquiry. This write-up has been posted on: edmunds.com yellowpages.com bbb.org A hard copy of all correspondence has been sent to the address of Ed and Dora Voyles in Marietta.will never go back... to many lies.
by jon118 on 11/12/2012updated 06/04/2025they got me financed but they lied to me about the start date. the lady said that my payments will start on month after they get my financing complete. that was TWO months later. I got a statement int he mail saying I was a month behind on… my first payment and I had no way to pay this. I have called over and over no one at ed voyles kia will help.. I have talked with Terry many times. Please to not buy from this dealership..Lanny Lee and Kia of Chamblee were GREAT!
by jspurlin on 09/15/2012updated 06/04/2025We got our first Kia yesterday with the help of a super salesman, Lanny Lee. He west above and beyond to answer our questions and help us get the right car. No pressure and a fair deal. He wanted to make sure that we would be happy with our… purchase. When we made a decision, then he found the right car with all the options we wanted. No pressure to take what was on the lot. I think we have found a dealership that we can trust and will help us take care of our investment. Thanks Lanny and Kia!Great Experience!!
by dmhoward on 09/16/2012updated 06/04/2025This was my first new car buying experience and Lanny in the Internet Sales Division was fantastic at answering all my questions regarding the vehicle I ultimately purchased. Lanny was great for the following reasons: he did not pressure me… and was excellent in his communication via email as my situation did not permit me to go by the dealership very often. I'd recommend Lanny and the team over at Ed Voyles!Worth the drive!!
by slucas33 on 09/17/2012updated 06/04/2025I began my search for my next vehicle online, utilizing many Internet sales specialist. Lanny Lee of Ed Voyles Kia of Chamblee won me over for my first interaction with him. He's made a career of selling cars, never settling to be just a… "car salesman"! Compassion, honesty, and dedication are three words that came to my mind when I first talked to him. Something in his voice and in his words puts you at ease when weighing your options. Living in West Point, Ga., with many GMC dealerships within a 30-45 minute drive, I chose to make a two hour drive just to purchase my 2010 GMC Terrain from Mr. Lee. There was never any pressure, no haggling over prices, no unexpected add ons. The atmosphere at Ed Voyles Kia of Chamblee isn't like your typical, fast-paced dealership where you're whirled in one office, then the next, then the next...very personal, relaxed and professional car buying experience! I would recommend this dealership and Lanny Lee to all my friends and family!Optima Success
by pquinn on 03/08/2012updated 06/04/2025The dealership was professional and friendly. We did haggle over the price of the car but in the end I felt we came up with a fair deal for both parties. The only negative was that it took a couple of hours to fill out the paperwork. I… wanted to license and tag the car in TN and there was a glich in the paperwork. DiDi at Ed Voyles was a superstar helping getting everything straighten out so that on the day the temp tag expired I was able to get my new tag in TN. I would recommend this dealership to anyone they were fair and easy to work with especially DiDi.Thank You
by tsusan on 09/25/2013updated 06/04/2025Car shopping is something that I dread, but it was time. I was very pleased with the entire experience. My Salesman was Mr. Cedric D. and he made the process of buying my new car painless. He was very attentive to my needs and wants. I know… I took a lot of his time but not once did he complain or make me feel uncomfortable. Thank you Mr. D. Any one that dreads car shopping I recommend that you stop by Ed Voyles Kia of Chamblee. Most blame is on me
by jc60 on 10/11/2012updated 06/04/2025This post is for you, as a consumer, so that you will learn from my mistakes. You may say it may be buyers remorse, I would say maybe, but read on so you can see how easy it is to get taken at the dealership. I accept all the fault since I… let this happen, but please read and learn and beware. Saturday 09:00am, I took my wife to Ed Voyles Kia of Chamblee, since she really liked the 2013 Kia Soul. Mind you we were only going to test drive the Kia Soul and compare prices with other cars that compared with this Kia. We told the salesman that we were only test driving. We tested the Kia above the base priced. Then the Kia Soul with all the bells and whistles (Premium Package) We liked this car. We asked for the salesman's business card and he asked us to follow him so he could get us his business card. Mistake number 1, we went in. He did not give us his card, but presents us with a paper to present to his manager of our offer for the Kia Soul we liked. We liked the Kia Soul with the premium package that included all the bells and whistles listed for 24700. I figure lets see if they will accept the price I offered. I told the salesman that I would not pay MSRP, that I would pay no more than 25000 walk out price, I figure with taxes, title and dealer costs already included in this price this was a fair price. My wife also mentioned that we would not pay for the tinting that the car already had. Salesman says, let me see what I can do. Manager comes back to talk to us, says were killing him, that this is a very popular model and that he could not sell it for what I asked, so I agree to pay no more than 26000, mistake number 2. He said he can make it work. My wife asks for a red color, they do not have this color, so to keep their cost down, can she pick a color they have on the lot, OK we say, mistake number 3. Sales manager says he can make this work. I did tell him that that was the most I would pay for this car and nothing else. We agreed on the final walk out price of 26000 with no money down. We started the loan application processing with final price of 26000 contingent on favorable interest rate. I never told them my monthly payments that I could afford, only the walk out price I was willing to pay. They come back and say we are approved and that they will send me to Financing. Its now 11:30am. Finance takes a good while to call us in, its now 12:30. This is when everything goes downhill, I still feel sick to my stomach for playing the following game with this finance manager. This is how it went, I ask before I sign anything I need to know what my interest rate was on my loan. He tells me he cannot tell me that until I sign some paperwork, I asked him that if anything I sign before I see my terms are not binding, he assures me they are not binding, Mistake number 4. He finally shows me a sheet that has 4 different monthly payments under each packages (dealer add ons) offered, with my agreed upon price and monthly payments in the top right corner in very small print. He tells me Kia will finance me at 5.9%. I figure I can refinance as soon as I leave the dealership with my credit union at a lower rate and save some money. My payments were reasonable and within my budget, I do not tell him that. I tell the finance guy that I do not want to hear about the packages offered(dealer add ons) extended warranties , he says he has to go over them anyways. My Fault, some how he convinces me that I do need one of the packages. I ask him to give me the Premium package for the Economy package price, this would be 53 dollars more on my monthly payments. The finance person does not tell me how much more this package will add to my loan balance, I have to calculate it myself for the life of the loan. It came out to 3,800 added to my 26000 walk out price. He agrees to give me the premium package for 63 dollars above my monthly payments. So my payments are now 493. I figure for all they are going to give me I can live with this. When it comes time to sign off on the items offered in the premium package, I initial the items included in this package, so I think, because he tells me to initial some and leave others blank. He does not go over the premium package items that were in the first paper he showed me, so I know he did not give me all the items in the premium package, mistake number 5. All this time this finance person was the nicest person you could imagine, distracts you by talking about other things not related to the financing, should have known better, he assures me that not even his family would get the discounts we were getting. What discounts? Its now 1:30pm, I started signing the paperwork and noticed that the tinting was still listed in the loan items, finance person just mumbles something, and does not seem too concerned about it, but does not even try to explain, were tired and ready to go, so we leave it, my Fault, mistake number 6. Final price for the loan 29800. I know its too much for a Kia Soul, but hey we liked the car. By now were ready to go, I feel sick to my stomach, but manage to smile and leave. This was the worst experience, I have had in a dealership. Most of the underhanded techniques I have read about bad dealerships, I experienced at Ed Voyles Kia of Chamblee, My wife loves the car but as for me, this car is a constant reminder of the this most unfortunate experience, I bet the finance person was talking about us on how he suckered us into this deal. Because of the loan balance, I could not refinance due to the value of the car versus the loan balance. I owe much more than the car is worth with the add ons added to my bank loan. Please learn from my mistakes, and if you feel something is just not right walk out..... Everything that happened I let it happen, so I accept all fault, but to the owner of this Dealership, all I can say to you is that I will not recommend your dealership, I will not buy another Kia ever. I will not use your dealership for service, If I lose your warranty because of this, I can live with this, just so I won't have to ever step into your dealership again....We have made a lot of changes here both in the finance department and also in sales management since you have been here. I do appriciate the fact that you are accepting responsibility for your actions. So many people do things they regret and then blame everyone but themselves. I do wish you would have asked more questions if you felt unsure of things. For example, the tint charge was still showing because the manager discounted the vehicle instead to get to the out the door number you agreed to. I do hope your wife loves your Soul for many years to come. By the way, have you checked to see if your vehicle is eligible for the Kia Reimbursement Program? I would be happy to talk to you about it. kflanagan@edvoyles.com
Awesome Experience & Very Helpful
by blaineberry20 on 02/21/2013updated 06/04/2025I had an awesome experience with KIA Chamblee. They took really good care of me with the car of my choice. Only being 20 years old and in school full-time most banks would not approve me for financing, but KIA financing did. John Bradley… took good care of me along with David, Terry and Albert. If you are looking to purchase a new car go to KIA Chamblee its the right choice.Superb treatment of Senior buyers.
by djones3154 on 02/19/2013updated 06/04/2025My wife and I both purchased vehicles at this dealer. We were treated with respect and not rushed or pressured as in some other dealers. My wife was very pleased with the General Manager Mr. David B. She said he was a true Southern… Gentleman. I am very hard to please. I do my homework and at no time did anyone try to blow smoke at me about pricing or try to sell me something I did not want. Our overall sales experience on both vehicles was so outstanding I have sent several friends to buy cars there, even though there are several dealers closer. It is my impression that the Ed Voyles group and this dealer in particular are the most honest and fair dealerships in the Metro Area. I will tell you as I tell the people I recommend if you have problem tell Mr B. I can guarantee he will make it right.

So sorry to hear you had such trouble. Since you were here we have had several changes in management and things have been addressed. I do hope you are enjoying your car, even though the purchase process was not where it should have been.
