Incompetent
by Unsatisfied on 05/08/2021Brought my S65 for service. Called Monday and asked for 2 new tires as had been recommended by your shop. Arranged a Friday afternoon drop with Saturday pick up. Was told they’d have the tires. Also said I needed rear brake work. Arrived… Friday.... didn’t have tires.... quoted me $5,000 for tires and brakes. I took the car to my original dealer in Daytona. Replaced tires and brake pads in 24 hours for $1300.Hello, we are deeply disappointed by your experience at Mercedes-Benz of Pompano. by GLC300! on 05/02/2021Well I went to lease a vehicle. Picked a car GLC300 on the lot. Sat down, salesman went to “OZ” as I call him, for the best price. Comes back with $821.00 a month/36 months. It’s a $46,000.00 dollar car. Do the math. 821.00/month X 36… months equals.......Are you kidding me! $200.00 more I can go lease a Range Rover Sport. Crazy. Salesman has to listen and go by what OZ says. Not the salesman that’s an idiot its the manager. He needs to go. I wouldn’t recommend because of the MANAGER. Would of given 5 stars but OZ screwed it up for the salesman.Auxiliary Battery Malfunction Error

Service Advisor was professional, courteous and displayed great customer service skills. Love the Lyft coordination to and from the… dealership. Worst MB buying experience!
by Karen B on 04/20/2021Very disappointing experience with Mercedes Benz of Pompano. This is my 4th Mercedes. My 3 previous Mercedes have been purchased at a Hendricks MB & customer service has always been excellent. Not the case with the purchase of my 4th MB at… this dealership. Found the car I wanted online at MB of Pompano. Started the communication via a couple of phone calls since we were coming from NC. *1st problem-being mislead or what I would call... false advertising. The wheels pictured were not the wheels that were actually on the car. Even the description stated that the car had the wheels that were in the picture. No one at the dealership could explain what happened to the wheels that were advertised...nor did they care. We decided to go ahead with the purchase since this was the color scheme I was looking for. We emailed all the information that they requested from. Both my husband & myself were emailed the price of the car. I was instructed to bring a cashiers check in the amount that was stated in the email & phone call from Sean, the sales manager. I flew down to purchase the car. Steven, the salesman, took me for a quick test drive & then we sat down to do the paperwork. Mind you, I was told the paperwork would be done before I arrived so it would be a quick process. *2nd problem- after finishing with the salesman I was told the finance guy would finish up. After waiting 45 minutes for Ryan, the finance guy, I finally got up & asked if he was ready for me. He told me no, that he was waiting on additional information from the salesman. I asked him what he needed. All of which I could have provided to him 45 minutes ago....or better yet.... information Ryan could have gotten himself in less than 5 minutes. But that would have required Ryan to actually be proactive. But hey... I’m just the customer I could wait. Plus Ryan totally threw the salesman under the bus by saying “Steven always has paperwork missing “. *3rd BIG problem- Ryan, the finance guy, never once greeted me with a “ how are you?” “Glad you’re here” “excited about your new car?” let alone call me by my name. Come on... this is Mercedes Benz! *4th problem- Ryan glanced down at the cashiers check that I had on the desk & said “I see the amount you have there (the amount that both me & my husband were emailed) & it’s not correct” I actually needed to pay an additional $1200 because someone supposedly didn’t figure the correct amount for NC tags/taxes. Are you kidding me?!?!? Once again no one seemed to care. Ryan & Steven both told me that the GM of the store wouldn’t do anything about it. They didn’t care if I bought the car or not. At this point it was a coin toss....leave & fly back home or buy the car & drive it home. After talking on the phone with my husband we decided to go ahead with the purchase only because it was the car I wanted, S550 coupe, & was the color inside & out that I wanted & haven’t been able to find elsewhere. Once Ryan came back into his office to finish the paperwork I asked him if he enjoyed his job because from where I sat it appeared to me that he didn’t. His response was “I love my job but I’m the guy that gets yelled at for the salesman’s mistakes”. My response was “I never yelled at you”. Zero response or acknowledgment. We finished the paper work, Ryan handed me my copies & said the salesman would finish the rest. Again....never said “thank you for your business” “have a good day” “drive safe on your way back to NC”. Geez, this guy totally ruined what should have been an excited, good experience. *5th problem- I was at the dealership for 2 hours. We had given all the information asked of us ahead of time. I had a cashiers check to pay for the car so no finance paperwork to deal with. I was told it would be a quick process. 2 hours is not quick! Never again will I purchase a car from this dealership or Auto Nation, nor recommend the Auto Nation Group to anyone. The 1 star rating is only because of the car.Mr. JL Gallegos

Horrific experience. Autonation Dealership ever again.
by Garrett S on 04/03/2021AutoNation Mercedes on Copan's Road is the worst Mercedes dealership I've ever had to deal with in my life. The service dept. is horrible, they've damaged my car while in for repairs, the AutoNation in Margate is horrible, they've damaged… my car and it has taken them 8 months to finish my car that was a 3 thousand dollar insurance claim. From the G.M. Michael Lucia, to the service mgr. Todd Banks, to the paint and collision rep at the Copan's location Gus Germi, to Omar Heridia and the G.M. at the collision center Rene Estevez. Gus Germi is [non-permissible content removed].. They had more work to do to finish the claim from back in April, and they had no loaner so they told me to get the nicest vehicle from Enterprise rental and Mercedes would reimburse me. I kept the rental much less than the time they had my car, as I have others to drive and now they won't pay for the rental they authorized me to get. I am filing a complaint with the BBB, post a negative review where ever I can, and I now have a lawyer involved. I will not stop reaching out to higher up people that are qualified to make an adult decision. This company has horrible business morals and ethics and they lie! I've only begun my journey to discredit them as a reputable dealership as far as service and paint/collision. And I've already sent two buyers to a different Mercedes dealer and they made their purchase there. My words are loud and clear and respected in the performance/luxury car industry. I will cause them to lose 1000 fold the 1,200.00 +- dollars they owe me. Get ready AutoNation! Update. After filing a complaint with Corporate, Magically 773.73 was paid to Enterprise Rental, thus a credit back on my American Express. You still owe me 450.89. You can pay that amount to me or Enterprise so they can credit my American Express. Let's not forget the damage to my drivers side fender when you tried to deliver it as a completed job and I refused delivery and you guys took 5 more days to do so. I received no loaner or rental for those 5 days as well, and this was damage done while in your care and possession. Wake up and do what's right. Pay the 450.89. I will not disappear. Corporate has been called again. I'm waiting on your crappy dealership to do what's right. Let's also not forget Gus Germi and Todd Banks authorized the Enterprise rental. Moral and ethics are at stake here. And I'm here to show your potential customers how you screw existing customers that have spent thousands and thousands with you and used to trust you.Service on our 2020 Mercedes

He was wonderful. Very professional and friendly. We left our car and it… was fixed in just a few hours. Easiest Car Purchase ever made!

Friendly, sincere, interested in satisfying the customer, not at all pushy. Started at 10am and by 3pm I was driving home with a CPO… MercBenz that had everything I wanted, along with a great price and no-hassle trade-in. My only comment is that the information (car features and options) provided on their website and the MBUSA website did not match. But they did not state more than the car actually had, so not misleading.Thanks so much for the warm recommendation of the team here at Mercedes-Benz of Pompano.
