by Jen and Jill on 12/29/2023My daughter and I worked with Jon Rykert and Jeremy Wilbur to track down a Hyundai Tucson in white with a sand interior air conditioned seats and every safety feature . We knew the New Port Richey dealership has the largest sales and best… reviews so after drawing a blank in New England during the summer we moved onto Florida. We started working with Jon in September and every month they contacted us and searched again . They were helpful kind and caring . I have never had such a good sales experience. I have my car . I could not be happier!!BUYER BEWARE!! Don't get taken by a Fink!

Hyundai of New Port Richey They advertised a used car for… $23,900 on their website. By the time I test drove and waited for the final price, the cost of the car came back at $30,800. That is a $6,900 increase or 30%!!! Everyone should expect hidden costs such as tax, dealer fees, title, tags, etc. But on a car advertised at $23,900 these should be nominal costs.... maybe up to 15% of total value. BUT, 30% is a big problem. 30% indicates Bait and Switch or illegal fraud. 30% indicates someone trying to take gross financial advantage of someone else, which is completely shameful especially at this price point. 30% is just dishonest, immoral, and unethical. And I learned from the Sales Manager named Charlie that the pricing was not a mistake. He admitted to the bait and switch tactic saying that they needed to compete with other dealers in the area that do the same thing. Are things that bad for this huge dealership that they have to use illegal tactics to get people in the door? Complete waste of 2 hours of my time today. Btw, I have full documentation with photos. The false ad is still up taking advantage of people. No two sides of this story, no alternative facts today. Just a big dealership exhibiting pooooor behavior! Complaints filed with the FLHSMV, FTC and the BBB. Buyer Beware! Don't become a victim of [non-permissible content removed] at Hyundai of New Port Richey.Rude and incompetent

by AllAboutAlish on 12/13/2022If you're in the market for a new do NOT go anywhere until you go to Hyundai of New Port Richey FIRST!! The entire staff (salesman (Gustavo), sales manager (Shawn), business manager (Steven), detail guys) were all EXTREMELY pleasant and… professional and so incredibly NICE! After a 7+ hour over 2 days, miserable, circus/zoo, game-playing experience at Hyundai of Sarasota, my husband and I drove an hour & 45 minutes to Hyundai of New Port Richey for the exact car I wanted, for which Hyundai of Sarasota refused do a dealer trade! We did an internet inquiry for the vehicle and the Hyundai New Port Richey internet sales manager got back to me within 20 minutes, set-up an appointment for the next day with a salesman for us and had the 3 cars we were interested in ready to look at when we arrived. After less than 4 hours, with our VERY kind, respectful, extremely knowledgeable and no B.S. salesman (Gustavo), I ended up with a brand new 2023 Hyundai Tucson Limited with the exact interior, exterior, extra features, etc. I wanted with an even better payment I expected and they gave me $1,900 more for my lease trade-in than Hyundai of Sarasota was going to give me! The entire experience from deciding on which of the 3 cars I wanted to test driving the 1 I had my heart set on, debating on whether to lease or buy, to the color of the exterior with a certain interior color, what features I need/wanted - EVERYTHING was a pleasant, non-stressful experience! I can't say enough about every single person with whom we came into contact that evening! A huge thank you to Gustavo (who stayed 2 hours after closing to go over all our new car features, set-up our garage door opener in the car, set-up our cell phones, etc.) and the team at Hyundai of New Port Richey! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE MY NEW CAR! Go see these people and ask for Gustavo...trust me....it's worth the drive!They don’t honor their agreements!!!

They are masters at deception, will end up ripping you off on price and you will leave with the realization that you were ripped off by some of the best [non-permissible content removed]. I… pity any elderly person that tries to buy a new car at this dealership. Do yourself a favor, shop elsewhere!!!!!!!!!They screwed me and lied about it
by Scott H on 03/21/2022I purchased a vehicle from Hyundai of New Port Richey and they promised to install a roof rack and tow package within a week. For three months, I called and they failed to fulfill their promise. After I got very upset, they finally… installed my roof rack and tow package. They said it took 3 months because parts were not available. However, I investigated and the parts were ordered the day I purchased my vehicle and arrived 2 days later. Their failure was pure incompetence and they later lied about it, blaming it on parts.False Advertising
by John L on 02/23/2022I should have trusted the other 1 star review on here, they do not honor their online sales price, in fact it was $2,000 more than what they state on Edmunds before any fees or taxes were added on. It's a bit disappointing that I can't… trust the price on Edmunds to match the dealership sale price and makes me question why Edmunds still allows them to advertise cars if they are misleading customers.Yep, same. Today I inquired about a car advertised for $17,700 and they added $2,694 in extra fees(not including the normal tags, tax and tile fees). I responded to their 'quote' and I haven't heard back since. Extremely disappointed and actually considering legal action for B&S.

by Jennings Perry on 07/18/2021Would not keep their word on price they quoted online, Their web pages are not theirs but a third party and they don't honor them! I believe this raises to fraud! I plan on filing a complaint Monday with the States Attorney and the FTC!
About our dealership
This happened recently to me as well. It was very surprising. I have purchased 3 previous vehicles from the dealership, both new and certified, and never had an issue.
