by robertg72 on 10/10/2016I've had lots of bad experiences purchasing vehicles, always feeling extremely pressured to get into something that wasn't within my budget or being sold bad cars. A salesman named Jordan Flores made my car buying experience amazing. He was… very professional and knew what he was talking about. He also made sure not to show me anything that he knew in the long run I couldn't afford. He was able to work with me and work out a great deal. No issues with my car and I'm loving it. I would highly recommend him and Antonino to anyone!Very pleased

by LovesAcura on 09/21/2016I have their sales manager in two saved voice mail to text messages stating first that my trade in was part of the deal and I am just misunderstanding the sales contract. After informing the sales manager that the CT states attorney's… office advised I had a great case of fraud and to proceed, I have a second voice mail from their sales manager stating that the trade in was never part of the deal basically lying and directly contradicting his earlier voice mail. I can email the two voice mails for anyone who wants to listen to them. I was warned by two different people that this dealership is full [non-permissible content removed] I didn't listen because I use their service department and had a great experience - I am lifelong loyal driver of Acuras I will never enter this dealership for sales or service ever again- I advise that you stay away as well. Anyone who has put a positive review probably doesn't understand exactly how they got screwed by this awful awful [non-permissible content removed].I'm lovin' it
by RichRaulli on 09/14/2016It was a pleasure doing business with Chris Rodriguez and the management staff at Antonio Acura. Chris did a great job of pointing out all the luxury features on the 2013 RDX I purchased. He passed along my wished to the worker bees in the… garage to have some of the surface scratches buffed out and they followed up with a great job of preparing the car for delivery. They also did a great job of installing the body side molding and towing package. Weve made a few trips down to the beach with our 900 lb sailboat and the AWD RDX didnt have any problem pulling it out of the water on a sandy beach. Thanks again Chris and Antonio Acura for making this car buying experience an easy one. My only regret is that you dont have a dealership hear in Rhode Island.Thanks for the five-star review, Rich! Sales Manager is very very unprofessional
by TJLeser698 on 04/09/2016Upon my arrival to Anonino Acura in Groton it started off fine. Ron is a great salesman got to test drive the car I was interested in right away, but thats where the good experience stopped. I am a mechanic myself and brought to their… attention that the tires were very unsafe due to dry rotting all over (over 5 year old tires) and the brake pads were worn to nearly 20% remaining causing wild vibrations upon braking. What bothered me was when i mentioned this to the sales manager his response was very aggressive and defensive with a very loud and say non friendly tone. It was a battle just to get them to fix basic safety hazard on the car which is not safe or morally right . They do not thoroughly inspect the used vehicles and are not willing to fix them hoping the customer won't notice. As we kept talking numbers I could hear the manager in the back still yelling and making fun of me, the customer, almost as high school gossip. Very VERY unprofessional. So bad that I eventually got them to fix the safety problems and got a decent price agreed that I still will not do the deal. The worst part is that I felt unsafe turning down the deal there I had to email them once I got home, that's how uncomfortable the sales manager made me. Terrible experience. My recomendation to anyone who reads this is DO NOT trust their used vehicles. The staff for the most part is very immature and unprofessional and the sales manager is, simply to put, a [non-permissible content removed]. Definitely will not recommend this dealer to ANYONE, very stressful and bad experience, lesson learned don't make the same mistake I did..We appreciate your feedback. The threats I received were unnecessary and deeply effected my view on their level of… apparent customer service quality. I will not go into detail, but I am currently researching a way I can file a formal complaint to a non biased enterprise that has a direct impact on the people involved. Please talk to the local community before purchasing a car here. They are usually correct. I received many warnings about this place which I chose to ignore, and now I'm paying for it. I wish the best for those who may or may not shop here.They worked with me
by Richychabo on 12/08/2015I had the pleasure of working with Chris who was very polite and courteous. The sales manager Tony who sits about 2 desks away had to help on the deal a couple of times. I went in with comparable sales to justify what I thought the car was… worth and also brought in my own financing to compare theirs to. Both I believe gave me a better position in the negotiation. After some back and forth with the sales staff, and being a tough negotiator on my part, I was able to get a deal I was satisfied with. Doing the song and dance with them was definitely a challenge, but in the end I was satisfied. The only negative thing I can say is that they did not wash the car or put gas in it and the car had a crack in the windshield. They are arranging for me to get a new free one put in but that should have been done before it was sold. Who sells a car with a cracked windshield is beyond me. Overall not to painfull if you go in educated.Worst Experience Ever
by dissatisfied39 on 08/14/2015This was the second time I was leasing an Acura (first time at Antonino) so I knew to expect superior service. However, this was not the case at all at Antonino. I had an uneasy feeling the second I walked in the door. Firstly, I had to… walk through cigarette smoke from workers standing by the main entrance-obviously not busy. Then I had to sit around and listen to small talk until the sales manager was available. Salesman was nice enough but literally did nothing. Sales manager was as slippery as they come - deceptive, condescending and rude. I was told they had "inventory", yet found out after the test drive that they only had the one car that I had tested. The problem with this was that after the test drive I was told not to turn the car off, but I already had. The salesman told me that someone had left a light on in the car the night before and drained the battery. He said they would charge the battery while we went over the paperwork. I figured that while I sat there for three hours, someone was actually charging the battery. Then I had to deal with the sales manager who was so rude and who, it turns out, gave me completely inaccurate information regarding my lease trade-in. When we were finally finished, he promised me a full tank of gas, yet, when we left, the car was still on empty! At that point the salesman offered to fill it but we were already there far longer than necessary. When we stopped on the way home to get gas, the car would not start again, because no one had charged the battery either! After several calls to management, I have yet to hear an apology or an attempt to make things right. Buying or leasing an Acura should be a pleasurable experience. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere but Antonino-they do not care about customer service at all.signed paperwork and called 3 days later stating the deal fell threw

I am a young mother trying… to establish credit and have no extra amd they know this. They even added this car to my insurance... but I left on dealer plates... 2nd Brand New MDX
by mom2mia4 on 03/01/2015After multiple different types of problems with my 2014 MDX and trips to the service department. Over 6 times and 3 loaners in 1 year...I finally had enough. I went in there and spoke with Ryan the G.M. Told him my concerns....because I got… treated like a dumb girl by the service department. With one really rude mechanic (whom I will not name) in particular. I landed in a brand new MDX that night. Thank you Ryan and Dan for treating me like a Woman who knows what she's taking about and with respect. I will only deal with you in the future.Ryan and Dan were happy to help put you behind the wheel of a new MDX, mom2mia24. He did not appreciate the fact that I came to his dealership as an informed consumer. He… tried every trick in the book and I had an answer for all of them. He was so nasty that he refused to shake my hand on the way out when I informed him I was moving on. They are not to be trusted but in their defense, no car dealer can be. Your best defense is to be informed and shop around with at least 3 dealerships, BUT STAY AWAY FROM THIS ONE OR YOU AND YOUR MONEY WILL SOON BE PARTED! Now I speak from experience. I have purchased or leased over 20 new cars in the last 30 years for myself, my wife, and my business and this guy was the worst yet. BUYER BEWARE! BTW....went to Girard Nissan and Norwich Nissan and they were not much better. Acura TLX

Could've been better
by Mattkes on 10/05/2014All of the salesman were very nice and friendly. They weren't pushy either which was a plus, however my experience could've gone better. I'm happy with the vehicle I purchased but I noticed the tires were bald and cracking all over and one… of them had a screw stuck in it. I called to tell them that I believe the tires should be replaced, and after speaking to a couple of people someone finally got on the phone to tell me that they inspect the vehicle so it meets minimum state safety standards. With something as important as tires I would've thought they would give a little more attention and detail than just the state minimum! Let me tell you, if they weren't below the minimum then they were right at it. Safe to say I'm a little disappointed when I bought the car and had to purchase a new set of tires before the first time I filled up the gas tank. I just didn't feel safe driving the car on unsafe tires.
