    I bought a used car, that I was told had a 157 point inspection. It absolutely did not, I don't think anybody even looked at it. One of the headlights was out, which I didn't notice until the ride home at midnight because it took that long to finish paperwork. The android system in the vehicle was trashed, making it so I can't use the backup camera. It continually cycles through different modes, no way to stop it. They said they'd replace it, after a month of waiting for an appointment, the replacement they had was also faulty. The part is on back order, it's been 2 months since I bought the car and who knows when it'll be fixed. The service people are awesome, luckily, but the sales person never answered my calls or emails, he just handed the mess over to the service department. I do not recommend this location.

    Recently purchased a 2023 Crosstrek Limited. Our salesman Dan Carne spent considerable time with us to help us understand the car's features, options, and technology before and after the sale and was easy and straightforward to work with. The time that they spent with us when they delivered the vehicle was very valuable and overall the experience was very low-pressure, courteous, and friendly.

  • This place is a disaster

    I went in for an oil change, which I had scheduled the earliest appointment in the day for. I still waited almost 2 hours for my car to be finished and when I went out to retrieve my car, it was making a high pitched squealing noise. I drove it for a mile to see if the noise would go away and it didn’t so I returned and was told “oh it’s because you had your engine cleaned, it’s just a belt.” They charged me for that engine cleaning btw and took my car back to the garage so I waited for another 15 minutes while they sprayed some silicone on the belt and then brought my car back telling me everything was fine. The next day when I was driving to work, the noise was worse than it’s ever been. I am now returning to have my car looked at for a third time.

    my experience with the autonation subaru west team was really great. Kevin was very communicative over what the service team was finding out with my vehicle and kept me updated every step of the way through the repairs so there were no surprises and I knew exactly what was going on. They didn't try to upsell me or fix things that were not broken, and I felt like the entire experience was very trustworthy.

    Subaru West in Golden exceeded my expectations. I had my 2017 Outback towed there because it wouldn’t start even with a new battery. It turned out that the NEW battery was bad. The service team took out the battery for me so that I could take it to Costco to get a replacement. I brought them the second new battery, and they put it in for me, tested everything out and updated the electronics control software. They also fixed a leak in my windshield washer system and ordered a new cargo area cover. Because I have an extended warranty, it was all covered, and there was no charge.

    This dealer was great! I was helped out by Noel Estrada and he was great. At no point did I feel like anyone was pushing me to make a decision or purchase which was great. The car actually arrived early and the process of purchasing it went super smooth. They also offer a lot of options in terms of add-ons that, once again, we weren't pressured to purchase BUT they did let us customize what we did and did not want while keeping the price really low. Something I thought was really nice was that they offer a 'class' on your car. It's a quick 20 minute course where they just show you what all the different buttons and settings do and they help you set up the mysubaru app. We scheduled the class while they installed the window tint so it was pretty convenient (the window tint and car bra installation was super quick too so something to look into). Overall this dealer does great in customer service! I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to buy a Subaru.

    I went into AutoNation Subaru West with several flashing warning lights on dash. Personally knowing nothing about cars, they could have easily billed me some expensive service but instead proposed to have me monitor the issue as it might have been due to wintry conditions. They didn't even charge me for the diagnostics, best trip to a dealership ever!
