    Liked buying my car here and trade in. Sales seems to have that together well enough. Disliked: service department. Rude, unprofessional, not accommodating, and frankly more frustrating than $0 to fix my car. That's right, the service was so bad I'd rather pay almost a thousand for 2 new tires anywhere else just to have the piece of mind of good customer service. I get that not everyone knows about EVs but if you have a charger or even a free plug do that customer the curtacy and charge their vehicle. If it super cold and a customer has called several times requesting this very thing, just do it. Ask for help if you can't plug stuff in because some how that's a foreign concept. BTW EVs are super simple in that way. Also, if a customer requests to leave information and his car early for staff, don't play 20 questions or argue with them. Just be kind and take the car and information. If you say as a service member you will be returning a call, return it. If you give a time frame, call when you would say you would. Simple. Being busy isn't an excuse because you, the service member, told me when you could call me. So, either lying or not caring. Either way poor service. Lastly, didn't wash, clean, or even fill the windshield fluid for the service customer. They had the car for 4 business day. In summary, as they like to say, Autonation Chevy North is a used car lot with occasional new vehicles. Why, everything they focus on is that. Getting trades. Service is lackluster regardless of its breathe. I'd rather pay quality people and companies than use a service warranty through Autonation directly.

    The person who checked me in was friendly and efficient. I was offered complimentary beverages and was checked in quickly. I did have to call to see if my vehicle was ready, they didn’t call me. That was my only small issue. I’ll be returning to this location even with the longer wait because they have to order my filter. They’re way better in EVERY way than the AutoNation Honda on 104.

    I went in to see a used car however after the test drive I still wasn't 100 percent in love with the car I tested. However, they went and looked at all their inventory and found me a car they thought I would love and they were right. They went out of their way to make sure I stayed within budget yet left a happy camper.

  • Dishonest Experience

    I am very unimpressed with this car dealership, and I would avoid doing business with them. I purchased a used car from AutoNation Chevrolet North at the end of November 2022 (1 Year old and less than 10k miles). Prior to purchase of the car, I noticed an extreme cherry smell that was added to the car. I asked whether or not they were hiding any cigarette smell in the vehicle. They reassured me over and over that there was no history of cigarette smoking and that they do not use that specific smell to mask cigarette smoke. Four days after I purchased the car, the cherry smell dissipated and was replaced by a strong smell of cigarettes. Fortunately, I was able to return the car within their 5 day return period. When I returned the car, they assured me they would have a check in the mail to me the following day for the down payment amount I provided at purchase. I came to find out that was completely untrue, and I was alerted 5 days later it takes at least a week to even get the check printed/processed. The whole process with this dealership felt extremely dishonest from beginning to end..

    All the sales team were very helpful and friendly towards my wife and I. Bruno and Hayden made buying a vehicle easy and pain free. They were upfront and honest about everything. Chris in fiancé was just as much help as everyone else. Made signing the paperwork easy and convenient.

  • Don't let an appointment fool you

    I made an appointment online two weeks in advance as that was the first appointment available. Showed up Monday morning at 7:30am and leaving home at 6am as I live 75 miles from the closest Chevy dealer. I was the first customer there. I was informed that I would need to leave the vehicle for 4 days because they could not diagnose the issue till Thursday. I mentioned that we were very close to the end of the warranty and they repeated that they could look at it in 4 days and get a rental car, for which GM would pay up to $42/day, which is about 1/2 the cost of a rental car. It would have taken 5 minutes to put the truck in 4WD drive it 50 feet and be like, oh yeah, that does not sound right, we acknowledge that there is a severe issue with it and at 59,700 miles and we will repair it on Thursday and you can go home and come back. What was the point of making an appointment if you can not even look at the truck for 4 more days? How do you think you did? How would you feel if this is how your appointment experience went?

  • Finance Scams - Fake Warranty - Unethical Dealership

    AutoNation Chevrolet North refused full payment by debit card, even though bank authorized full amount. Forced to finance at high interest. After 2 days dealership refused to look at vehicle issues. Fake money-back guarantee. Fake limited warranty. Unethical finance manager.

  • 2 months for repair and they damaged my tailgate

    They had my truck for 2 months for a repair. Gave me a loaner that was not in the same class as my truck. I got a Cruze. Mick called me one day and said he wanted to swap out my Enterprise rental loaner for one of their trucks, so I took the afternoon off work to drive all the way up there. When I got there he told me he had already given the truck to someone else. So that was a waste of personal time I had taken off of work. A few weeks later Mick called while I was at work so I couldn't answer. He called again later that day. But that was a Friday and I just couldn't get there that day. So he has his manager Travis call me on Saturday who threatened to make me pay for the rental if I didn't drop what I was doing and go pick up my truck. When I got there, I found that there was fresh damage on the tailgate. Mick said he didn't know anything about it and walked back inside the dealership. I am having to file a complaint with GM/Chevy to get this resolved. It would appear that my experience with this dealer is consistent with the other reviews left on this and other sites. My service advisor was Mick Derner.
