  • Headliner/windshield replacement

    Bought a brand new 2023 Silverado pick up truck back in may 2023, first week I was driving it, it started raining there was water coming in through the windshield on the passenger side! Took about 2 months to get it repaired since there was miscommunication between the call center and the dealer! Finally got it in to repair waited 2 weeks for"parts" to come in windshield/ headliner, picked it up headliner was still stained from watermarks! They didn't even replace it! Now saying GM didn't want to replace it but had me waiting on parts! SMH so disappointed still waiting on a response to see if I can get a new headliner! Which they said it wasn't damaged clearly it's been raining for months out here with obvious water damage, manager tried to call me to make an appt to finally replace it the headliner after I told him what days I was available to come in, never got a response back!!! So unprofessional!

  • 2020 Kia Niro with a dangerous chemical smell

    On Wednesday, 8/23 I saw a 2020 Kia Niro Hybrid on the Sam’s Club website for car sales. I asked for the price. I got a text message from Braedon asking me if I’d like to come in for a test drive. I asked about the damage listed in the car fax and he sent me a video walking around the vehicle- but not showing the damage. I went in and took a test drive. I liked what I saw and put down a deposit. I told him the money transfer will hit my bank on Friday and that is when I could pick up the vehicle. He suggested I fill out most of the paperwork so pick up on Friday would be easier. So I did. I spoke to the finance person, Elisa and did more paperwork. I got my cashiers check, proper insurance completed. Braedon text me Friday 8/25 in the morning asking me what time I would be there, I said 11. When I got there I asked about a spare tire and a jack, Braedon told me that these cars don’t come with either. He also told me it had not been detailed, from Wednesday afternoon to Friday morning, the car had not been detailed. I saw Elisa again and finished my paperwork, gave her my cashiers check. I ended up sitting for an hour and a half waiting for my vehicle. I offered to take it dirty because I had things to do and was told since I already did most of the paperwork, I could leave quickly. When I finally got the car it smelled strongly of chemicals. I thought Braedon might have gotten gas on his shoes when he filled the tank. Later in the day a friend looked at the vehicle and said it was the cleaning solvent. I googled dealership solvents and the thing that smells is formaldehyde. Saturday morning I opened the door and the smell was so intense! I immediately send Braedon a text asking for a manager. Cameron -I assume is a manager- called me back and offered me a “shock” treatment. I picked up the shock treatment which smells like chlorine- another chemical like formaldehyde that is deadly to breathe. I used the shock treatment. Now my vehicle smells like formaldehyde and chlorine. I emailed the general manager, Brian Nicholson, Sunday and have yet to hear back. This morning, Monday 8/28, I sent Braedon multiple text messages and have not gotten a reply. I checked the paperwork and realized all the paperwork and the temporary plates say the vehicle is Black, this vehicle is pale silver. A police officer can pull me over thinking I have stolen the temporary plates.my next move is to email corporate and hit social media. I’ve gone from disappointment to disgusted.

    • My reply to the general manager Hello, I received this email Wednesday. First, I have no idea who Arthur Freeman Jr is, I have had no contact with this person. Second, I sent you an email Sunday 8/27 through your website “contact us” spot. I received a confirmation that this email was sent. I have screen shots of this email as well. Third, I don’t feel I need to go into detail of my problem, you know exactly what it is. Fourth, on 8/31 my review on Edmunds got a reply from Heath Knoll saying the management team will follow up. When does this happen? What is the remedy? What is your dealership going to do to make the environment inside the vehicle safe? Both 8/30 and 8/31 the VOC counts got to dangerous levels. I also want my temporary plates to reflect the Silver vehicle I purchased, not black. Let me know when I can come in for my amended plates. Anything about the poisonous air quality in the vehicle needs to be in writing. If I get a phone call, be on notice that it will be recorded. When I come in for the amended plates, be on notice now that I will record any conversation for my protection. I will revisit my social media and important website posts tomorrow.

    The process took a long time, seemed that the sales person had to ask the new manager everything. Also, there was a difference in the numbers,, which eventually got figured out...however I did see an email that the car was offered at a lower price than what was on the sticker, and I imagine that was part of the issue. Also we didn't get to see the kelly blue book cash offer for our tradein- it wasnt mentioned but there was a poster in the lobby. we also were surprised that there were no floor mats and when we asked about it, the new sales manager told the sales person that if they got an excellent rating they would order for us. Seemed a bit shady. I also got a reminder about a service appointment that I didn't make, so not sure what that was about. The test drive was good....we liked our sales person but the entire place seemed to be slightly chaotic.

    I bought a truck a month ago. As I was looking at it I noticed the coolant was low so I mentioned that it was low and they said they to off all their vehicles. They never filled it. When I got home I turned the truck off and had my girlfriend look at it and she tried to turn it on and it didn't turn over. Also the auto start/stop feature didn't work so i mentioned these thing to the dealership and they said to give them a call when I could drop it off so they could look at it. They said they would need it for one day originally. I dropped it off on Monday around 5:00pm. They said they would need it for a day or two this time to get it diagnosed. By Thursday I hadn't heard anything yet and I ended up trying to call and no one gave me any answers and said I would just have to go to the dealership to get any answers. Turns out the truck had the wrong battery in it which I have to pay out of pocket for a new one and I'm having to pay for a hose that connects to the thermostat because the technician didn't know if it was the thermostat leaking or the hose leaking. I will never go to this dealership again. Worst service I've ever experienced.

    Service desk was very understaffed. There were only two representatives working and my car was done for 15 minutes and sitting there before I went back up to the desk to see if someone would be able to help me so that I could leave. The service done was great, the staff is very friendly but it took extra time to get signed in and then checked out to leave because of being understaffed.

  • Technicians faking time spent on alignments to raise bill & joyriding

    Car disappeared for a while from where the dealership put it in the backlot, tech apparently on a joyride when the car and tech were nowhere to be found. Trying to bill for extra time while the car sat forever in the Backlot, then forever on the alignment rack. Management couldn't find the tech, turned out he was testing another car & delaying printing out the alignment report to further make it look like it took forever. Finally adjusted to quoted price

    No one answered the phone. Called five times to try and make an appointment. Said each time that I wanted the car serviced with the recall fixed. Even went the extra step to confirm both things done. Had to leave it there another day for them to just do the 2 things they said they were going to do with at least 20 phone calls. Someone actually told me they didn’t have time to make the appointment and to do it myself on the web, of which I had to do, because if they did answer they would put you on hold and never come back.

    The service was quick and easy, however when I leave the bill is very high because of filters. Cost when I left was about $165.00 for oil change and cabin filter? just seems very pricey.

    Transmission replacement within 1 year of purchasing 2022 C8. All local Denver Chevy dealers replace tranny filter during 1st service call. AutoNation won’t perform this task until 7500 mile mark. Not sure if this is a service or manufacturing issue.

    The dealer said everything would be taken care of when the detailed the car. I asked for the windshield wipers too be replaced. He didn't bother and the first day driving home it poured and I could barely see through the smeared windshield because the wipers never got fixed. I had to drop another $50 and do it my self
