Frustrating
by Wendy G on 05/01/2025This definitely wasn't one of my best car buying experiences. At the dealership, we waited quite a long time to see finance (even though we saw the finance guy chatting with other employees), and when we got into finance, the contract… signing was incredibly pushy and rushed. I wasn't really given time to glance through the documents, much less comprehend them. Earlier in the process, I asked the sales rep if there was a cooling off period or any kind of exchange if we took the truck with the problems it had and changed our mind, and he said no. He didn't mention at all your 5 day 250 mile policy, and we didn't find out about it until day 6. Now, we've had the truck for 21 days, and the things the dealership said you would fix haven't been fixed still, and we're starting to get frustrated. For example, the windshield was cracked and we were told someone would come to our home to fix it. After almost two weeks, someone came, and brought the wrong windshield. They said they would contact us to reschedule but no one did. When we called to find out what was holding this up, they then sent us to Autonation glass, who broke the new windshield while installing it. We have no ETA on when the new one will come in. We were told the tire sensor that is broken would "self repair" when the windshield was fixed, so we've had one tire sensor that hasn't worked since we bought the truck. Not a good start after a $50K purchase. At this point, we wonder if we've made a mistake in working with AutoNation Dodge Arapahoe.Hi Wendy, we regret your experience with us here, but are glad you brought this to our attention. I have called the dealership and got voice mail. I asked for a call back, that was a week ago, and no response. My windshield is still broken - It's May 5, and we bought the truck on April 11.
Salesperson lied and pressured to make sale
by PurpleCat on 08/11/2024Their salesperson Jade lied to me multiple times through the sale of my vehicle, which I ended up returning. I paid 25% down on a used vehicle, and was told by the other rep that helped me that they would service the car, fix the… windshield, and fill it up with gas, then I could pick it up and pay the rest cash. He congratulated me and even handed me the spare key. I live about 60 miles away. Thus was on a Saturday. On Tuesday I get a call from service saying they're going to fix my windshield Thursday morning, so I can pick up the car after work. I agreed. That same day, Jade calls me and says I need to pick up the car by the end of the day Wednesday (which is the 31st) or they're going to sell the car to someone else! Honestly at this point I should have listened to my husband who said something wasn't right, but I really wanted the car. She promised that I could schedule the windshield repair later, and they would even come to my home and repair it through a third party. We went and picked up th3 car. Even paying cash, the wait took a while. When we get in the car, the gas is only half full, and the check engine light is on. Jade took the car back and said the check engine light was just on because the gas cap was loose from when they filled it. Driving home, the A/C blew hot the whole time and it seemed the car was overheating. We took it to get looked at by the AutoNation in our town, and they said it needed a new head gasket, among other things, about $10k for repairs. Luckily we found this out within the 5-day return period and took the car back. You could tell Jade was a guilty [non-permissible content removed] because she didn't say hi to us when we walked back in, or the whole time we were waiting to return it. Then I took an Uber home, which because I live so far was like $100. I would never recommend this dealership to any of my friends and family because they're deceptive and don't care about accountability. Oh yeah, and the windshield? They called me Thursday asking if I took the car. I told them what happened and they were mad for me. They said that Jade knew the repair was scheduled, and still pressured me into the sale to get it on the books by the end of the month. And they don't travel to where I live to do the repairs, so I would have needed to drive back to where they were, 60 miles away, on a different day to get it returned. Absolutely disgusted by my experience here.Hi, we regret to hear that you had a negative experience with us, but would appreciate the chance to turn your experience around. Dream truck RAM 1500

He worked hard to help me get the best deal on my new truck and on my trade-in.… There was no pressure to buy but once I decided to get my truck the staff worked quickly to get me through the purchase process. There were dealer addon costs but they were negotiable. I plan to get my next car from them. Horrible Repair Experience

In addition, I was told that I needed new suspension parts and after taking three weeks to get this work approved through Dodge's warranty department, I finally got my car back. Unfortunately, the… technicians failed to notice the cracked brake calipers during inspection requiring over $1,000 worth of emergency brake repairs to be done. The technician claimed my brakes were "good" when clearly they were not. These guys did a horrible job and you would be better served having someone else work on your car.Hi Christopher, we regret your experience with us here, but are glad you brought this to our attention. Stress Free Oil Changes
