Thank you Robert in sales and Greg in finance. Great service! I have been a Prius owner since 2008 and Robert sold me my first Prius in 2008. With 1.9% finance now was the time for me to check out Subaru Outback. Family and friends have… raved about Subaru for years. Thanks again to the staff at Kirby.

by Paul from Santa Barbara on 06/13/2021I had been shopping around for a used WRX and was frustrated by the high markups and shady last minute add-ons by other dealers. I reached our to Kirby via their website, got a quick call, email quote and we were signing the purchase… agreement on a NEW one near the same price by end of day. They held up their quoted price while others added $1600 mandatory BS polycoat and security features. Everything else was optional and I said no and paid the quoted price. They also added complimentary service for a year on top of subaru's 2 years! Would gladly come back for another car purchase.Purchased Forester from Francisco Vasquez

Jim Read from the internet department and Valerie Hurt from finance helped me with the purchase of my new… Subaru Outback and it was a totally pleasant and smooth experience. They treated me with kindness and dignity, such that my 12 year old daughter remarked, "Let's always buy our cars from here. I love the car and I loved the process!" When you earn a glowing review from a preteen along for the ride, you know you've done your job really well. As she wishes, we will indeed buy our future cars from here and recommend Kirby Subaru of Ventura highly to our friends/family.Great experience!
by LindaV on 05/25/2021I have never had such a comfortable car-shopping experience. From beginning to end I was treated well and never pressured. Matt was very knowledgeable and made me feel at ease. He made sure I understood my options and was very patient and… kind. He even helped me pair my phone before I drove off in my new car. He also made sure I understood how to use the main features I would need right away. Adam, in the finance department, made that transaction smooth as well. JP also helped so much when I came back for further instruction on how to use the many features on my new Forester. I feel like this dealership and employees really care about my experience. Thank you!! P.S. I love my new Forester!!!!Tony Lee is the MAN!

I had no intention of trading in but Lars VanKirk your patience, knowledge and overall kindness made this experience… absolutely Outstanding. When approached I said I needed payment the same, no out of pocket and wallah you made that & more happen. I was in at 830 for service and driving my Beautiful new car out at 1030. Kirby Subaru has the most Amazing Staff and they Pride themselves with the Best Overall experience ❤. I will be telling family & friends. Our salesperson, Mark, was knowledgeable and helpful. He gave us space to decide… what would work for us and plenty of options to look at. Everyone was so kind and helpful from our salesperson to the manager and the finance person. I highly recommend coming here if you need a car.Spacious and comfortable ride

Are initial goal to familiarize ourselves with Subaru having never owned or operated one and the Kirby Subaru dealership was our choice since they offered… many certified pre-owned vehicles in our price range however they did not have one in a color with the options we desired. It must be noted that the quality and driving experience of the Subaru's we test drove was better than some of the other new cars I had recently driven. Having been sold on the Subaru line Mathew worked thru different options, new vs. pre-owed and lease with option to buy. Searching his data base Mathew was able to locate a vehicle on the lot that met our requirements. It was dark grey with black leather interior. The test drive was great and we were convinced that this was our car until we arrive back at the dealership and walked past a jasper green Forester with the two tone grey leather seats sitting in lobby. Long story short, we left with a new car, never pressured, rushed or ignored. Kirby is a professional establishment offering a great environment and is service oriented. Thanks, Mathew. We recommend Kirby and if you have never driven a Subaru you should give it a try.First Time Subaru
by GaryW on 05/10/2021This is the first time we've done business with Subaru. We leased a 2021 Subaru Forester Limited w/NAV from Kirby Subaru of Ventura. We were able to easily trade in our leased 2018 Toyota Prius for the Forester at Kirby, rather than… having to work with Toyota directly ourselves. Kirby took care of all of it for us. It was a pleasant no hassle experience working with both Mr. Vazquez (Sales Team) and Ms. Hurt (Finance Manager). It was nice not getting passed down to a sales closer in order to finalize the sale. Mr. Vazquez and Ms. Hurt made the usually arduous process much easier than normal.Outstanding service

I came in for a standard 6k oil/filter change and inspection, and asked about how to best go by retouching some Cilajet coating after having had to repaint parts after a… collision. They didn’t bat an eye and offered to re-apply the coating at no cost.Tim the Terrific!

by CleveM on 04/29/2021After considering several other fine brands, we visited Kirby Subaru, Ventura CA, to test-drive a Subaru Forester. Friends and family had recommended that we take a look at Subaru. We knew we wanted a vehicle with all safety, performance… and exterior and comfort convenience and interior options available. We were met at the dealership by Mr. Bob ”Indy” Thacker, who greeted us warmly and immediately made us feel welcome. He listened to our general list of the features we were seeking in our next car, patiently explained all the features of the Touring model, and suggested a test drive. One short drive and we were hooked. This car is quiet, has a soft, nimble ride. It is responsive and has great visibility. It has every modern safety, performance and convenience feature we could ask for in an automobile of the size and style we want. There was no high-sales pressure. We requested one color and then changed our minds. Bob quickly found the configuration we wanted and returned from a nearby lot with a newly washed Sepia Bronze Forester. We are fortunate to have Kirby Subaru of Ventura (a fine organization) so close to us.No pressure sales

I hadn't heard of the Ascent until the night before cold calling the dealership and asking to speak with sales. Bob explained it was the… largest Subaru and had all the safety features i was looking for (and a tin more!). He drove the limited trim Ascent all the was to northern most Goleta for me to test drive and even picked me up from Carmax the next day after I sold them my old car. He explained all the safety features and settings of the Subaru and answered all my questions. He wasn't trying to sell me a car, he is truly passionate about how awesome the Subarus are, and wants to share his enthusiasm with you. A fun and stress free experience all around! I highly recommend Kirby Subaru and especially Bob Thacker. Thanks for your help Bob!Great experience!

Mr. Lee's insighfulness and patience made me feel… comfortable with researching the features of the 2021 Subaru Outback premium and understanding the financing process. He ensured that I selected the right packages instead of going overboard with unnecessary options. Mr. Lee looked out for me and I am certain that he will continue to do so for all his customers.
