I'm disappointed!
by Bernadette on 03/28/2024On March 20 at 2:30pm, I went to Autonation HONDA for my oil change service. Everything went well and the service coordinator, Isaah was prompt, courteous and professionally friendly. After about an hour, my car was ready. I drove the car… home and everything seemed ok. I hardly drive so most of the time, the car is parked in the garage. Monday, I left to do errands and smelled oil inside the car. Wednesday, my husband and I drove to do errands and he too, smelled the oil. We checked the pavement where the car was parked, NO oil leaks! My husband opened th hood and there was the problem!!! The oil cap was not placed and oil spilled around the oil container. The cap was just sitting on the side of the car. We checked the oil Guage and true enough, oil decreased by a substantial amount. This was only my 3rd time to visit the service department. All the other 2 occasions were very satisfactory! I I'll call the service department today, Thursday, March 28, to express my disappointment during my last visit. I hope this never happens again! In the future, the Service Coordinator should probably check the vehicle first before releasing it to the customer.Hi Bernadette, thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. Service Rep Andres, is a gem! I went to Autonation HONDA on March 28, at 11:00am to complain about the negligence on my 2023 Honda HRV. Andres helped me and took care of the problem right away. He ordered to repeat the complete oil change, cleaned the oil splatter caused by the uncovered oil pan, car wash, and topped my gas. My car was ready in an hour and Andres went to check that everything is ok. Just to add, my awesome Sales Rep Henry, also came & talked to the Service staff about the unfortunate incident. Now, I am very much satisfied with the service! I am writing this as an addendum to my first review. I recommend Autonation HONDA in Valencia.

Honest and careful repair work.
by DrivEar on 12/02/2023Careful inspection with pictures to show exactly what the issues are. No charge if parts aren't available to carry out the repair. Full explanation of why certain adjustments (valves in our case) and parts are needed before the suggested… time if the vehicle has heavier than normal use, which was our case. Explanation of why genuine Honda suggested parts are best and longer lasting. We had another shop change our spark plugs for instance and they were worn out and causing misfires at 1/2 the recommended change time. In this market of lower priced aftermarket parts, it may be no bargain at all and is best to stick with Honda parts.Hi, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. He went above and beyond to make sure to provide a ride back home for me after dropping off… my vehicle there. He provided a detailed diagnostic with pictures and descriptions which made it easier to know exactly what was wrong with it. He was also honest and upfront from the start. Thank you Thomas! Oil change
by Ryan Grissom on 11/13/2023Went in for an oil change. Got a call saying that my front brake pads were so low it was metal on metal. I told them go ahead and change them, then got another call back and was told my rotors were bad as well. After hearing the price I… told them don’t change anything. I wanted to get 2nd opinion. He told me not to drive the car home and that I should have it towed. Took it to another Honda dealership and they told me I have 50% of my brake pads left and that the rotors were fine. They even showed me my brake pads and let me take photos of them as proof. He told us the service would most likely take all day, but said he would stay in touch. He kept… his word by contacting us around 4:00 to report service was complete, but sealant that was applied would do better if it sat for a while longer. We opted to pick up car in am. Again, Nick was expecting us and delivered our clean and repaired car to us in just a few minutes. I remembered they use Honda parts so I went to the Honda service center to get an oil change,… tire rotation and an alignment. Best decision! They accepted walk-ins!
