Good Product, Good Buying Experience
Excellent exterior detail service for my Escape
by TrekHer on 04/14/2016I have a 2016 Ford Escape which I love. The part of the country where I live gets lots of sun which is really tough on the exterior of the car. I asked the QuickLane folks at Fritts Ford if they did auto detailing because I wanted to have… a great base coat on the exterior. They did an excellent job, in less time than I expected and for a very reasonable price; lower than most of the mobile detailers quoted. I will be taking my Escape back to Fritts routinely for this service so my Escape paint looks and feels like new. Thank you Fritts.Great service

by valstewart on 04/13/2016I brought the car in for the scheduled oil change plus a few concerns we had. Two of the concerns were addressed before we even left the lot, and while the last concern, the AC problem did take an overnight visit, the problem was corrected… and now the AC works great. In addition, even though the weather was nasty and it was raining, the car was cleaned and washed. The folks inside were really helpful and friendly. I have to say this is the best customer service I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Thank you, Fritz Ford!i'm happy

A priced was agreed on , I informed the sales person that i would be in to pick the car up,in 3 days. After driving 2… hours to pick the car up. When I arrived the internet sales director stated that the sales person made a mistake. The price quoted would not be honored.They lie to you to get out of warranty work.
by liedtocustomer on 07/14/2010I recently purchased a 2007 Ford Focus from them. In less than two weeks, the rear suspension started making a very loud squeaking sound. I took it back to them, and my HORRIBLE service adviser, Angie Schnider, told me that it was a brake… line rubbing on the suspension, and that they fixed it. AS SOON AS I GOT HOME, the suspension started squeaking again. I looked under the car to find the brake line they were talking about coated in grease, which has now stained my driveway (thanks again Fritts). I took it back and went on a test drive with one of the shops foremen, who told me there was a problem with the suspension and that they would fix it. Well, TWO DAYS AND FIFTEEN MILES OF TEST DRIVES LATER (that's right15 miles), they tell me that there's no squeaking sound that anyone can find, and that they can't do anything. Every time I had to call and speak with Angie Schnider, she either wasn't there, in her office with a customer (for three hours), or didn't know the answer and had to transfer me to someone else. After going down there and letting them know what I thought about this whole situation, I tried making the rear suspension squeak, and I couldn't. So I took it home hopeful that the problem was actually fixed, and within about five hours, the suspension began to squeak again. I looked under the car to find a MASSIVE amount of WD-40 coating my rear suspension. To me, that sounds like someone heard the problem and tried to cover it up, not "we couldn't find anything wrong." Then why is the rear end of my car coated in grease? Oh, and they overcharged me by $11. I know, not alot, but still. MY FAMILY HAS PURCHASED THREE CARS FROM THEM IN THE PAST FIVE YEARS, INCLUDING A BRAND NOW COBRA. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK, AND WILL DO EVERYTHING IN OUR POWER TO KEEP PEOPLE AWAY FROM THEIR HORRIBLE SERVICE.Horrible Place, I would not even send my worst enemy here...
by 2dz1luv on 01/01/2010I have tried on 2 occasions to purchase a car from this dealership, and both time was (un)lucky enough to get stuck with John Beard. My husband & I went there to try to take advantage of the cars for clunkers opportunity and we filled… out the paperwork, John took off with it and there we sat for 3 hours... He would prance by every now and again and just carry on like we were not there. We finally got hungry enough and left. I tried to contact him after that a couple of times to no avail. Then I called and spoke to 2 different sales managers and was promised call backs and got nothing. Now here is my main problem, once you run your credit at one Ford dealership you can not just up and go to another dealership and try there to get the service you need and deserve. You are stuck to deal with the dealership that had just ran your credit, and they must have known that and just did not care. Now my husband and I do not have the best credit, nor do we have the worse, it is fair / good. I dont know what it was with them, but thanks to them we were not able to take advantage of cars for clunkers. We have although gone to another dealership (5 months has passed) and we know have the 2010 Ford Ranger we wanted.... I dislike Fritts ford so much it is going to hurt to even take our new truck to them for service. But I will smile and wave as we go by in our new truck!!!!Wonderful Buying Experience!

Started from internet sales dept (Cole and Shonnah) and actual sales (Julio), they are very honest. I believe that is the key word to do… business with. They have kept commitment they made at the very biginning and did not try to rob me off. They are rare species when unfortunately lots of dealerships are dishonest. My experience at Fritts Ford was at first stressful because I hadn't bought a car in ten years, and was a… lone female doing the transaction all by my lonesome . Thankfully, turned out to be quite a positive experience. Frankly, I'd done my homework about the car I--exactly--wanted, and Victor Barbarosa, the salesman, was extremely patient and explained the entire purchasing process clearly--including what I could expect as a deal of a purchase and what the dealership expected from me. It was all an upfront, educational, and win-win experience. And considering it was a very HOT day, I'm relieved to say we all kept our cool during the long process. I tell you, I drove away in my new Ford Edge absolutely joyful, absent of any bad feelings about car dealerships entirely. My thanks to Shanna, Cole, Victor, and Ray at Fritts. by monsterdrive on 02/12/2012updated 06/04/2025F250 have a shimmy ( a severe steering wheel & front wheel vibration) & the srevice dep. wasen't able to give a answer to my problem, they tried to sell me lift kits,steering stabilizers while i still had my warranty,thay tried to say it… was my after market tires but the shimmy occurred before 5000 miles on the original tires the truck came with,Great dealer to deal with!

They were straight with me on what they would do for me on the truck and stuck to it. Ray in Finance was awesome… getting the deal pushed through Ford Finance on my terms! He really went to work for me! And Dave in sales answered all my questions and concerns effectively and quickly. The individuals involved with the process with Fritts were simply outstanding to work with. They were… professional, honest, and stood by the original quote provided via the internet. We have purchased 7 vehicles over the past 25 years, non of which were as pleasant as this experience with Fritts Ford.Awful experience
by deeariel on 04/28/2013updated 06/04/2025Be warned, we brought our mustang in for a check-up right before the warranty expired. The gear shift had been broken for awhile (the plastic part that covers it had come loose). They charged us to fix that, because the problem was… apparently spilled liquid, fine. Mentioned the car "jumps" when shifting to reverse. They claimed to have repaired that under warranty. Two days later, the car freaked out, and when we put it in drive, it would reverse; park was drive, and we couldn't put the car into "park". Confused? So were we. Fritts sent a tow-truck (begrudgingly) and claimed to have fixed it (still under warranty). A week later, the car began "jumping" back in reverse again. Now it was out of warranty. We brought it into fritts, and they refused to fix it. They wanted us to pay $2000 because we "hadn't mentioned the issue before". The service manager said this is a "very common problem and would have happened regardless of any services provided prior to the warranty expiring". This would have been nice to know before purchasing a Ford. I'm infuriated by the awful level of service. Seems like a scam. Buy your Ford somewhere with higher ratings.honesty
