    I had an excellent experience leasing a Volvo xc40 Recharge (electric) at Volvo Palo Alto. Sohee was my sales associate and she is amazing - so knowledgeable, helpful and her attention to detail and the customer experience is wonderful. The whole staff at Volvo PaloAlto has been top notch (this is my second lease with them).

  • I love Volvo Palo Alto -- they're the best I ever worked with

    I've bought and leased lots of cars over the years, but I can confidently say that the sales and finance staffs at Volvo Palo Alto are the best I've ever worked with. They make you feel taken care of -- Sohee has always made sure to have the car we want to see ready for a test drive before we get to the dealer, and she's done lots of things to make our family feel like a valued customer. She respects our time, is super professional, well informed about products, and makes sure we feel like we have everything we need, know what we need to know, and just feel completely satisfied. And the finance staff is super friendly, no high pressure, and work hard to give a fair deal. The thing I always tell friends is that once you've made a decision on what car you want, from the time you submit any info for leasing/financing to when you have the keys in hand is quicker than I've experienced at any other dealer, be it ones from Toyota, Scion (when it was around), Acura, and Ford, among others. Volvo Palo Alto provides the best buying experience around a compelling, always fresh lineup of cars.

    Cinthya Robles was very helpful, professional, knowledgeable, and patient with the whole process. She also communicated with me through email prior to day of sale. She did an excellent job answering all my questions and explaining vehicle features! This is the second XC 90 I purchase at Volvo Palo Alto!

    My sales rep and the finance rep made me feel very taken care of, from looking at all the vehicles that fit what I was looking for, a monthly lease payment in the range I was looking for, and on into taking care of lining up all the paperwork before I got to the dealership so it'd be a fast and seamless visit.

  • Amazing buying Experience

    I like the way whole process went. We were done with everything in 1.5 hours which includes test driving, discussing lease terms, completing paper work and getting car ready to drive home. Which is very rare thing to see in car purchases(As per my last experience with other dealership this process took 4+ hours easily.) Jessica and Cynthia were simply amazing & very straight forward. Big thanks to them for this great experience. I will definitely recommend this dealership to my friends.

  • Knowledgable and no pressure tactics

    This the best dealership we have ever purchased from. From the salesman Malcolm who really knows his product, but seems to have decided that he need only shows us all of the great features, to the Internet manager Lonnie who negotiated the pricing. We never felt any pressure. Even when we took delivery of the car they did not try and up sell. They offered us pricing on extended maintenance and warranties but did not try to talk us into them when we said no

    This is our 3rd Volvo from Volvo of Palo Alto, and we'll be coming back for more over the years. They always have good, fair deals on leases (I've only leased so far, so that's what I can speak to), and the entire staff is really friendly, professional, and they really go out of their way to make you happy. They've definitely earned my loyalty, and would enthusiastically send anyone their way.

We got a great car for a great price, and we were on your way home in our new Volvo.   • Best lease/buying experience I ever had at a dealership

    I loved my experience at Volvo Palo Alto. First, they had great deals going on, and a great inventory to choose from. So, I didn't really entertain shopping around at other Volvo dealers in the area. The sales rep I worked with, Sohee, was fantastic. She was completely professional, courteous, not pushy at all and took all the time to make sure I could make a thoughtful decision that was right for me. And when I was trying to decide between the S60 and XC60, she made sure both cars (both to the specs I was interested in) were waiting right out front for me to check out as soon as I arrived on my follow-up visit. And I loved the sales manager as well - very straightforward, fair and honest - and I know I got a good deal without rounds and rounds of back and forth. He had something favorable w/in 5 minutes - and that impressed me, making me feel like they valued my time and interest, and rewarded me with their best deal. And when it came time to sign, this was the fastest transaction I've ever had at a dealership, from filling out the lease application to getting all the papers signed. It was about 20 or 25 min tops. Such a pleasure, and I plan on getting another Volvo from this dealership when my lease is up.

  • Efficient Internet sales, find your own financing.

    I purchased a 2006 S40 from Carlsen. The Internet salesperson was very good about responding to e-mail (I am not sure whether he still works at Carlsen), but the salesperson told me a few things that I later found to be untrue about the vehicle (a few things about engine performance and emissions). The price quotation given to me over the Internet was honored. The finance manager was not very pushy when it came to selling extended warranties and other optional services/protections. Based on my experience with the financing department, I would recommend seeking alternative lenders than the banks that work with Carlsen (the APR was much higher from Carlsen, and the finance manager told me that I could not get a good rate because "I put too much money down"). Be sure to do your homework before buying!
  • The most efficient car buying experience I had

    I chatted with salesman Bill online and got the price quote. Next day, I went the dealer shop and tested the car, and offered him a price. He looked at the computer and did some calculation, then he gave me his hand and said "Okay!". It took less than 20 minutes from the time I walked in to the time we agreed the sale price. Super efficient. Even though we had a little technical and communication issue during the whole process, the overall experience was great! Highly recommended! I bought a 2013 Volvo S60 T5.
