Long time Porsche owner had the worst service experience at Porsche Irvine
by RB on 06/03/2025From Las Vegas and contracted Porsche Irvine to do a PPI on a 2015 Cayman S. From the get go very poor communications could not get any callbacks. On pick up I was only supplied with the one page Multi-point inspection report. This is… something that is done for free and had been supplied to the seller when they dropped it for service the week prior. She had supplied me with a copy. The service advisor Jay said the full report with the DME would be emailed to me later that day. Never sent. Worse yet I had flown in to pick up the car and drive it back to Las Vegas. When I got on the highway heard a loud metal on metal noise coming from the right rear on uneven pavement. Thought it might be a bad shock but when I took it to my local Porsche mechanic the next day it was a very loose control arm. Lucky I made it home alive. Checked the service invoice and mileage in and out was the same they never test drove the car! I texted and emailed Service Advisor Jay for the next 3 days for the full report and was given multiple promises or excuses why it had not been sent. Called in to the Service Manager Dean and was told they don't supply a full report. Say what? I had just had one done the prior week at Porsche Livermore for a sale that fell through and was given a multi-page printed report that included the DME. He said they don't give out the DME and it only goes to Porsche corporate??? When I told him about the loose control arm and asked why it was not taken on a test drive was told they don't unless given permission. I was never asked and paid $800 for a PPI and it did not include a test drive? More BS as I texted the bad experience to the seller and she replied was pissed that they had taken it on a 66 mile joy ride when it was in for just an oil change and battery the week before. Don't know what it is like buying a Porsche there but I would suggest you stay far away from their service department.Hello, we regret your experience with us here, but are glad you brought this to our attention. Porsche Irvine is THE WORST
by Nancy Long on 05/24/2025The experience at Porsche Irvine is continuing to be the absolute worst imaginable. Calls don't get returned, takes a week to fix a Brand new car only to have the same problems the very next day after picking the car up. No loaner was… available the entire week of the unsuccessful repair even though I asked every day and was told " loaner cars are for people with appointments " . I was told when we bought the car we would get a loaner whenever we brought the car in. The communication with Jay the service writer was almost nonexistent, I felt like I was dealing with a Bot instead of a person. Nobody at Porsche Irvine seems interested in customer service unless they are trying to sell you a car. As soon as you buy one , nobody wants anything to do with you. Total nightmare
by Shaima s on 01/30/2025My experience here was an absolute nightmare, filled with deception, unethical practices, and blatant dishonesty. From the beginning, Sales Representative Sophia repeatedly lied to me, convincing me to visit the dealership under false… pretenses, knowing full well the vehicle was not ready for delivery. After 10 days of unnecessary delays, I finally received the car—only to discover it had 17,705 miles instead of the advertised 10,800 miles. To make matters worse, the check engine light was on despite assurances that the car was in “excellent condition.” Everything they told me was a lie. The dealership’s incompetence also caused me financial harm. I was pre-approved for a loan, but because of their delays, my loan expired, forcing me to re-run my credit. This was completely avoidable had they been honest and efficient. The worst part? The manager, Eric, was the most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with. Instead of addressing the issues, he only made the situation worse. I lost all trust in this dealership and ended up returning the vehicle. I then went to BMW, where I was treated with respect and received my car in a single day with excellent service—a complete contrast to this disaster. I will be warning others on every platform possible—Google, Yelp, and beyond—to prevent more people from falling victim to their scams. I also have proof of their misconduct and am prepared to take legal action. Avoid this dealership at all costs! They do not deserve your trust, time, or money.Thomas Service Advisor

Flat tire

He ordered a new tire, got me a ride home, and I was 100% up and going within… 24 hours. Service and Irvine Porsche
by Terri L on 07/24/2024I scheduled a 30K service with a loaner car. I sat down with the agent and was given the estimate for the service. The cost was unbelievably high, so I decided to forgo the service and take it to my own mechanic. I was told that if I had… work done somewhere other than the dealership it could nullify my warranty. I felt very pressured. I had taken my Macan to my mechanic for my 10k service and purchased a lifetime oil change through them. At the time they we unable to reset my computer to notify me when the next service was due. My car was due for two software updates, so I had the dealership do for me while I waited. I asked them if they would reset my service notifications. They told me that they couldn't since they had not done the work. The reason, the service manager gave me, was that they had no record of the service and if I sold the car and the new owner came to them looking for the service records, they wouldn't be able to provide proof. I have proof of service. I purchased the car from that dealership, but they were more concerned about anyone buying the car from me. The manager eventually reset it and said, "I'll do it just this one time." My estimate from the dealership was $2,300. I had the work done by my mechanic, that I've used for decades, for $1,200 and they were able reset my computer. I understand that dealerships are more expensive, but it was the attitude, deception, and intimidation that upset me. I was satisfied the free software updates, and they did it within the timeframe of what was expected.Hi Terri, thank you for leaving this detailed feedback about your experience with our dealership. Horrible used cars experience

They don’t do a thorough inspection in their used car before they sell… them then they tell you it’s “As Is” . What a disappointment . 1980'S Dream delivered as promised!

I came into Porsche Irvine and put in my request for a Guards Red 911 Carrera,I returned 6 weeks later as an allocation came in,gave salesman Marcus Mataya my deposit… and shook hands with General Manager Dan Comouche as well as all managers,3 months later I am driving " Red " the car is exactly what I ordered and the performance is the best!
