  • Seat Belt Tensioner

    I made an appointment to have the driver's side seat belt tensioner replaced on my 2016 Ford Taurus. At 9am the service adviser told me that the repair costs would be covered under AutoNation's warranty or under Ford's warranty and he was checking to find out. I asked if that info could be provided for me with a telephone call. He agreed, took all my information, and then called me at 5pm to mistakenly and incorrectly inform me that the repair was covered under Ford's warranty and that I would have to come get my car and take it to a Ford Dealer. This is false and incorrect. The repair is out of Ford's warranty and needs to be repaired under my extended service contract plan I purchased with AutoNation.

    I purchased a 2023 Honda Piloto Trailsport from Autonation Honda in Tucson last week. I had ordered the car a couple of months ago with a $100 deposit. They called me to tell me it had arrived early and asked when I could come in to pick it up (I live in Scottsdale). I arrived at about 4:30 in the afternoon and completed the transaction by 6:00 - no hassle, no markups - that other dealers try to charge, just an honest, easy transaction!

    I had a unkonown problem with my Passport where the keyfob was being locked inside the car. The security system also was not on. The service department inspected the problem and tried cold booting the nav panel and that brought it back online. Staff were really helpful in resolving the mystery of the locking doors. While in ithe shop, the service dept also corrected two warranty issues, so I'm happy to have all that done.

  • Service for my vehicle

    Here’s my honest review. My vehicle had a knocking noise coming from the passenger side whenever the AC/Heater was turned on/off. Even when the vehicle was shut off, plus it had a antifreeze leak. Took it in, they looked at it and it also needed the cabin filter replaced, i said to fix it all. Turned out the bumper to bumper warranty that i paid for when i first purchased the vehicle only covered certain parts, i had to pay for labor and the $100 deductible that’s clearly stated in the warranty paperwork i have, it’s apparently not what correct. $100 deductible means i should only have to pay that amount, well no, i was told it’s only $100 off the total price, which is complete crap!! So i paid what had to be paid to fix my vehicle. K so brought the vehicle back the next week to get everything fixed, took the vehicle home and boom!!! The site to the vents took a good 3-5 minutes to work, and there was still i noise coming from the passenger side. Made an apt. They looked at it and a part they replaced was no good, that’s why there was no air flow coming out the vents, so they have to reorder it and i have to come back, gave me a reason why the noise can’t be fixed, something about the vents turning and it could be chipped inside but i guess that’s not covered under the warranty i paid for that i thought i had!! And it turned out the cabin filter wasn’t replaced either, i asked why and was told i denied the service for that filter which was also false!! Guess that filter isn’t covered under the warranty i paid for!! I paid for warranty that i thought i had and was told it covered bumper to bumper, at least that’s what i was told so they could sell me the vehicle, and when something goes wrong with it, I’m told the complete opposite. It is what it is but that’s my honest review!! P.S the 2 staff that were in charge were very friendly and helpful, that was my only positive experience!!!

    My 22 Honda CRV was due for the first service with 6300 miles. Appointment was 11:15. I was out of there within the hour. Kudos to Desiree Barnes, the best service advisor! The dealership has several tans, chairs to relax while waiting and offer ice cream bars!
