  • Updating my review

5 out of 5 starsby Quentin Shires on 05/05/2021

I had initially wrote a review about my experience with Certified Benz and Beemer. They reached out to me and made things right. I had complained of my brakes going out too quickly after just purchasing the car, and they called me to make it right. Bryan was my service guy, he took the car in and replaced the brake pads and rotor, and even gave me an oil change and rotated my tires. This was done very quickly and I am very impressed that this was taken care of. Absolutely satisfied and thank you for taking care of this!

  • HORRIBLE experience- DO NOT BUY!

1 out of 5 starsby Quentin Shires on 04/30/2021

I had originally bought my car in December last year and within that time frame I have only driven 8,000 miles. Since then, my brakes on the front have worn down- I bought the car at around 30,000 miles and my front brake pads just came on at 38,000 miles. I called the dealer and they told me to get it in to be checked. I told them that the brakes must not have been the best when I took ownership of the car. They told me to bring it in. They quoted me $960 for the front brake pads to be changed. Which is absolutely ridiculous. Then I went in to have the car looked at- I arrived at 930AM in the morning, and they reported that they will need to measure the brake pads for me. I waited until 4:00 PM (i even called at 2:00 PM and they hadn't even looked at the car). One hour before they closed (4:00PM) they called me and told me that they can give me a discount of around $800. The service guy reported that my brake pads were 80 percent when I took ownership of the car. They reported that I have worn the brake pads down to 3 to 4 mm's in the last four months. PLEASE BE CAREFUL when buying a car from this dealer ship. I have now had a horrible experience and then the service guy even told me my back brakes are ready to be replaced and quoted me an additional $700. I understand that brakes wear down, but I don't believe that it would wear down in four months to this degree. Also, in my experience, brake pads should last between 40 to 60,000 miles- and my car is at 38,000 miles. Looks like I am paying the price from the previous owner and this dealership failed to make my experience right. Please have them check the car- especially the brakes. Also, I now see that I have been sold a sub par product- (and I wonder what else is wrong with it). My service person was Bryan Sullivan and the sales person was Andy. Both had made HUGE promises before hand and now nothing but disappointed and a car whose breaks are not working. I even offered to pay half ($500) and they said no. Extremely disappointed and will never recommend anyone to go to this dealership in any way, shape, or form.
    • I would like to change my review as the dealership reached out to me and fixed everything. They changed my brake pads, the rotors, gave me an oil change, and rotated my tires, all in 3 hours. They shuttled me to and from the dealership and really stepped up. Thanks to Bryan, my service guy, as well as Ron, who transported me to and from home in the private shuttle…fantastic team and experience.

  • Very happy with my purchase

5 out of 5 starsby SunDevil on 04/28/2021

It was the best car buying experience I ever had. Bobby Ortega made it simple and everything went so smooth. Not your typical car dealership here.

  • Run! As fast as you can. Away!

1 out of 5 starsby Left empty handed on 12/31/2020

Not sure where to begin? The part where I went to get my cashiers check for our agreed $62k cash purchase and they sold the car to another buyer. Yes. While I was on my way to the dealership. With my money. Or the part where they told me they are a no hassle dealership, strictly use Kelley Blue Book for trade but then offered me $3k less? Or the part where I called the dealership with questions, sales guy said he’d find out and then never called me back? Or, or, or. Just run. Run as fast as you can. Away. Wouldn’t want to drive thru their lot let alone every spend my money here. Truly remarkable this place is in business running this way. Zero stars.

  • Bad People.

[non-permissible content removed], beware. I cannot believe how these guys sleep at night. We found a car Saturday night in their inventory, called and spoke with Jamie Herbranson, who seemed trustworthy at the time. I told him we were pre-approved through Hughes Federal Credit Union and had financing already taken care of. He confirmed that was fine, while we made plans to drive up from Tucson to Phoenix (2 hrs.) the next day I asked him specifically if there was anything I should make sure to bring with me, "we will need a current insurance card...that is it" he assured. We drove up Sunday morning with our 2-year-old (2 hrs), test drove the car and looked it over. Immediately I noticed the dash had a warning light on for a light that was out somewhere. Jamie testified of their "complete, 100%, thorough inspection" they give every vehicle there at Benz & Beemer... Not long after he said that I noticed the the front left wheel was MISSING A LUG BOLT! And, they would not be providing me with one. At this point I still decided (somewhat naively) to start up paperwork. I did a lot of research on this make/model and I wasn't going to let a silly light or a missing lug get in the way -- or even a mandatory $400.00 "Window Tint Fee" Jamie slipped after the test drive. For the record, you can find tint for $100 if you look. I went in and handed the Hughes pre-approval printout to Jamie that I brought with me which he looked over, acknowledging Hughes along the way. I objected when they told me they would need to pull my credit as I didn't think it necessary due to my "...already being approved through Hughes," and I made it explicitly clear we were not going to be financing through them, to which the finance manager, Scott Mckenzie, assured us they were going to need to "pull and submit my credit/application to Hughes" and that they were NOT going to try and get us to finance through them or anything -- Now, this may even be a legitimate practice (having credit pulled and submitted) but watch what comes next. 5 minutes after going to pull my credit to "submit to Hughes" Scott came back and pulled me into his office to explain that they "no longer do business with Hughes", "we had a bad experience with them in the past" -- SERIOUS?! Restraining my anger, I told him there was absolutely no point in our coming all the way up there from Tucson had that been the case from the start, to which he said "I'll see what I can do." 5 more minutes went by, and he came back in the office (this time with Jamie at his side) with a piece of paper. The 2 of them then attempted to convince me my rate through Hughes was fake and that I did not, in fact, have pre-approval, and would need to use one of their financing institutions -- with CONVENIENTLY rates several % higher than what Hughes approved. By the way, Hughes lists their rates online. I have the 'fixed auto rate' of 4.5%: https://www.hughesfcu.org/borrowing/loan-rates/#autoloans At this point, I was absolutely appalled. My wife and I are slow to trust people as it is, and this experience was just devastating. Forget the car, forget the 2 hours in the 115 degree heat in June (yep!) with a toddler. These guys flat out lied to our faces for profit. I told them we were absolutely not interested, shook their hands, and thanked them for their time -- during which they still attempted to convince. We grabbed our things and headed on our way, when Jamie came to hand my Hughes paperwork back trying REALLY hard to convince me my rates were fake, that "no one would give 4.5% on a 2012 car", and that I "do not have pre-approval from Hughes." I almost had my doubts on the long trip back home, but spoke with my Hughes loan officer the following day who confirmed everything was exactly as it was the previous day -- 4.5%, 72mo, and the amount needed. And, get this, Hughes told me THEY do not do business with Benz & Beemer -- you can guess why. Coworker at Raytheon also had terrible experience, convincingly... Wish we'd have known beforehand. =/

Drove 400+ miles to purchase a Lexus RC F that was advertised as having 18,400 miles, it had 400 miles more than ad. I asked if it had two key fobs and was told yes. I asked if the paint was spotless and was told yes with one exception, that it had a scratch on rear bumper but would be repaired. The scratch turned out to be a scrape and they touched it up but stood out like a sore thumb. It also had two big scratches on the hood that I didn't see as the car was very dirty (dust) outside and inside. It also had a tear in the front seat. The bottom line is that it is going to cost me $8-900 to repair the hood and $1300+ to repair the seat and I paid $360 for an additional key fob...............
    • Since my first post the dealership contacted me and I was told they would repair the hood and the tear in the seat. The owner called me personally and said he would make it right the next time I came back to Phoenix. They have been very accommodating and I am sure they will follow through.

  • Online buyers beware: misleading, incorrect information advertised

1 out of 5 starsby carlolm on 03/27/2018

I purchased a car online, site unseen, based on information from a web site. (1) The car was improperly advertised and did not have some of the features listed on the site, such as: a. Climate Comfort Package: heated steering wheel and heated front/rear seats b. Wheel upgrades c. Advanced park assist (2) Salesman gave me incorrect information when asking about features (3) The condition of the car: damage was not provided to me - discoloration of brand logos - discoloration of front grill - torn tailgate liner - discolored trim pieces - blown fuse: car port charger - car was filthy upon arrival There was additional damage in shipment (camera), but am currently in the process of trying to claim the amount from the shipping company. The dealer has not offered to help with any of these costs, other than pay $2 for a fuse replacement, for which the Range Rover service is charging me $75. I believe that this dealer has bad business practices and online car buyers should beware. The information they post on their website and even information from the salesmen is incorrect and misleading.

  • Barely Used Car

Jamie Herbranson helped me get into an almost brand new car with 5 K miles. The car was very clean and drives very well. No issues since purchase. Thank you for the great customer service and no hassle.
  • Excellent Service

    5 out of 5 starsby 118lefton2 on 10/29/2016

My wife and I recently purchased a Lexus from Jamie Herbranson at CBB. Jamie did an outstanding job finding the vehicle we were looking for and getting the financing we requested. When we are in the market for another car we will contact Jamie at CBB.
  • Camaro shipped to Vegas

    5 out of 5 starsby Chrissyjoy702 on 10/28/2016

I found my dream car online and Jamie Herbranson and his team at CBB made it happen. Within a week my car was in the driveway. Looked and drove as described. He went out of his way to take video and photos so I felt comfortable with my sight unseen purchase. Financing was quick and easy. Only hiccup was an oil leak due to a malfunctioning part which was fixed under warranty the next day. Definitely recommend CBB.
  • Great dealership

    5 out of 5 starsby MBenzE550 on 10/28/2016

I recently purchased a 2013 E550 through Certified Beemer and Benz. After seeing an ad online for the vehicle, I stopped by to see it in person. After browsing their extensive lot, I was approached by a friendly, engergetic gentleman by the name of Jaime. After explaining the vehicle to him he was able to lead me to it quickly, passing through the multiple level indoor, well maintained showrooms they have. After closer inspection, I noticed the vehicle was in excellent condition, which is how it was described online. After taking a test drive the vehicle exceeded my expectations. Jaime explained to me all of the features and details of the vehicle, as well as the in depth inspections they perform on all their vehicles. After deciding to make a purchase, I was sent back to see Mo, who handled all of the financing for me and explained their warranty options. During this process Jaime was having my car detailed and getting ready to take home. This dealership made my car purchase hassle free and went above and beyond to provide great service. I will be returning for all maintenance on my vehicle, as well as my next purchase.
  • "Chris Nall - Tarnishing the establishment disgustingly so"

1 out of 5 starsby arizonanative on 12/13/2015

I was promised several paint touch ups during the time of sale that really did need professional work. I had let CBB’s touch up guy try and his paint color did not match, nor was he able to touch up the area smoothly. The area in question is the size of a nickel and is located a few inches from the drivers door handle - so, very noticeable. After dealing with the service manager, I received a call from Chris Nall to come in and meet and have a look at the car. During our conversation Chris was minimizing the issue of the paint, it’s location and overall had a cavalier attitude that I found repulsive. I explained to Mr. Nall that based on Kelly Blue Book (he turned bright red with this mention) the price I paid was several thousand dollars (3k to be exact) over and surely there was funds somewhere to pay for the appropriate fix that should’ve been done the first time! Mr. Nall became irate, raised his voice several times and asked me to leave the premises or he would call the police. Bear in mind I was sitting in my mini cooper while he threatened to call the police on me. It was hysterically funny for someone not understanding why I was being demoralized and yelled at. I don’t know why he would be calling the police other than himself yelling and looking like a fool. I do not know how or why this man’s temperament was/is so unbalanced but I do know I will never return to Certified Benz and Beemer for anything. I made amends with Mr. Nall and shook his hand upon my wishes to make the situation right as that's the type of guy I am. While I was waiting for my tint to be done he saw me again in the east side sales area and practically pounced on me for being inside of the building. I explained I was using the restroom and waiting and he did not have a problem with this BUT a grown man having to explain that I needed to use the little boys room was again the unexpected. I met with the owner of CBB Jack that day within an hour of the incident and was happy to be able to explain what issues had occurred. I want it known that Chris R., Sales manager, Berrin in Sales, Tracey in Finance (she's fabulous) and Bryan in service are all incredible people to work with. It’s a shame that Mr. Chris Nall not only ruined my gleaming reviews and thoughts of CBB but that I won’t ever return for anything they may offer me. Jack the owner did offer to pay for one of my oil services but I don’t find that to be enough in rectifying what went on with Mr. Nall. I'm a native to Arizona and have choices in where I purchase my cars. Again, what never have happened while I purchased cars in the past from Schumaker MB and Chapman BMW.

I recently purchased a Lexus SC 430 from this dealership. The entire experience was positive. We were offered more for our trade in than was offered at the dealership where we purchased it new a year ago. The sales manager we worked with (Jeff) was not pushy, very patient, and addressed each concern we had with the Lexus satisfactorily. The next time I need a car, this is where I will start.
