Service on My 2019 Silverado
by Brian Z on 05/05/2025I had a check engine light come on so I made an appointment to have my truck serviced on Monday, 4/14. I was told at that time by Terry, my service advisor, that it could be two weeks until they were able to diagnose the issue and work on… the truck. TWO WEEKS! What is the point of a service appointment when the vehicle won't be worked on for two weeks? Sure enough, I was contacted on Thursday, 4/24 to let me know they had found a wiring issue that had a service bulletin issued due to the wires and protective shroud rubbing against the air filter box, causing shorts. I know my truck is out of warranty, but if there is a service bulletin issued for something that results from poor design, there should be a large discount on repairs and/or have it covered by the manufacturer. I had to pay for a rental vehicle for two weeks by that point, which was $950, and the repairs were close to $1,200. I went in and picked up the truck on Friday, 4/25 and drove it home. On Saturday, 4/26, I was driving my son to baseball when the check engine light came back on and "Engine Power Reduced" was displayed on the dash. I attempted to return the truck that afternoon, but the rental car facility was closed, so I did not return the truck for service until Monday, 4/28. On Monday, I returned the truck and was set up with a rental by Autonation. I sent texts everyday asking if the truck was repaired yet, but didn't get any viable information until Thursday, 5/1. They found ANOTHER wiring issue which was repaired, but that led to discovering the cam shaft actuator was faulty as well. They were able to repair it and I picked up the truck for the second (hopefully final) time on Friday, 5/2 with another bill for $696. Overall, I'm very disappointed in the length of time it takes for AutoNation to make repairs. Two weeks is FAR too long for a customer to be out of a vehicle. The service appointment scheduling is a joke. If you can't diagnose a vehicle for two weeks, don't make appointments for two weeks. At this point, I believe just about every wire has been replaced in the engine compartment of my truck. To wait two weeks for repairs, then have to immediately bring the truck back in for more repairs is frustrating, to say the least. More transparency upfront, or when you are making "appointments" will go a long way towards customer satisfaction.Brian, we regret to hear that you are displeased with your recent experience with us. Mechanical Nightmare
by Mike Rodriguez on 05/31/2024I purchased a 2013 Dodge Durango on April from the dealership 26, 2024. Since then I've encountered several mechanical issues and a team that has been less than receptive to rectifying them. On April 30th, I brought the vehicle to a Dodge… dealership to have factory recommended service on the vehicle, which coinced with a check engine light that appeared a day or two earlier. A thorough inspection revealed two ruptured motor mounts and a gas seal that needed replacement. I immediately left a message with my salesman Johnny Turner. Unfortunately, my message went unreturned. Believing I had two warranties (on May 26th I learned my Autonation 90 day/4k mile warranty was never activated by the dealership and is invalid) I scheduled service for May 10th. On May 6th, while I was getting coffee in a drive thru, a man approached my window to let me know my car "dropped a lot of liquid." It was later revealed the belt to the water pump had been misrouted. How this was missed during inspection is baffling to me. My car was in the shop from May 10th-May 24th. The extended warranty covered the majority of the cost associated with the motor mounts. I had to cover the cost of the water pump and deferred service for the EVAP leak, in the hopes that Autonation Chevrolet steps up. On the 23rd, I texted my salesman pictures and diagnostics, asking him to make things right. He replied on the 24th saying "he would get with his boss" and that "he would do what he could". I have not heard back. That same afternoon I spoke with my finance manager Dan Gutierrez, a Sales Manager named Justin, and finance manager Robert Kelley about my Autonation warranty. After some back and forth Mr. Kelley said he would "look into it and get back to me." He has not, nor has anyone from Autonation regarding my concerns.Hi Mike, thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback. by Skylar Diamond on 03/28/2024I knew what car I wanted when I went in. I wanted a 24 Trax. Cade brought in a personally owned vehicle for me to test drive as they had none on the lot. I came in prior to my appointment time and he set us up with David Burke. I was… shocked that Cade was not only willing to, but happy to split a potential sale so that we didn’t have to wait. Cade personally delivered my vehicle to my house once it was in stock, even doing so after his shift should have ended as the service department wasn’t done with it prior. Even though it was late in the evening, Cade offered to walk me through anything I needed in regards to the car at drop off. He didn’t try to drop it and run, like I might have knowing I was working well past the end of my shift. The finance guy whose name escapes me was also great. Told us what we needed and what we didn’t. I even joked at my age being written on the paperwork, saying I hadn’t seen my age on paper since my birthday. He scribbled it out and said “we don’t need to put that there” as a joke, and then wished me a belated happy birthday. We FINALLY found a place willing to work with us and give us a fair value for our trade in and not gouge us on… the final price of the new suburban. Clint at AutoNation Chevy Gilbert was so fast and gave us everything we asked for in trade for the new suburban. He ensured we had the suburban on hold for us as a diesel suburban is somewhat difficult to obtain on any sale lot. Sales excellent - Automatic phone service sucks

Automatic phone service rang and rang and rang and no one… answered. We tried for 3-1/2 hours before we contacted sales and had them connect with the finance department.....just to get a question answered.
