I was interested in a car that I found on their website and was contacted by the dealership the next day. I then went and test drove the vehicle and was impressed by its quality. I have my own financing and no trade in. I continued to look at other vehicles but over another week narrowed it down to 2 including a Honda Civic and the Jetta at Berge VW. I emailed the sales person that I had narrowed my choices down to 2 and I needed their best out the door price as I was going to the bank to make a decision and sign paperwork. The salesman, responded back to me right away and had a final out the door price for me that matched my original offer. I went to the bank and they confirmed that this car was a good value so a good choice. I contacted Berge that I would buy the car and after I finished with the loan department at my bank drove there and was out the door with all paperwork complete within 1 hour. No complaints and a positive experience. It pays to do your homework and get a Out of the Door price before you go. That way there are no hidden fees or surprises. Other dealerships would not always provide me with an Out of the Door price unless I came in and sat with them.....no thanks.

Just bought a 2017 Jetta from Berge, having fun driving it already!! After having another local VW dealer try to increase the amount I would have to pay to buy the car (shook hands on to seal the deal) forcing me to leave that dealership, Berge saved the day! The sales manager took care of me and gave me a great deal. I never once felt uncomfortable.

I bought a new Tuguan SE from Jim Maijala, and before that Jeremiah helped us test driving an SEL for N hour. My husband and I felt extremely sorry for Jeremiah considering his patience and kindness, but both comforted us by saying that they work together. A decent dealership like this should have those kind of satisfying salesmen to attract more customers. All the staff there are very professional and nice, and we are looking forward to a good experience in the service department (although I already have some with my ex-beetle). I highly recommend people in buying a car in this VW and share the same experience with more people, for a car is a company in the long run; everyone wants it to last a long time in a good condition.

After doing my research (CertfiedVW and Truecar.com) I went on a search for my VW TiGuan. I knew I had to let the wife test drive one, so we headed towards a VW dealership in Scottsdale. Won't say which dealer, but I was surprisingly appalled at the treatment they gave me. Guess they never heard that, "every one that walks through your doors is a potential buying customer." I even took the time to mention I did my homework on the TiGuan; to no avail they tried to sell me the dud on the lot. The salesman's final words were, "you're about to get me fired." A month later, enter Berge VW to save the day. The salesman kept in contact with me for three days as negotiations were going on about the particular vehicle I wanted. Then one Saturday, he called. The TiGuan I wanted was available again. By 4:15p.m., I was shaking his hand @ Berge VW. Impressed with my determination, we spoke, considered options. He gave me his professional opinion and within 20 mins or so, we came to a deal. Moral of this story, don't judge your customers, put your best pitch forward, and you will make the sale.

I had not intended to buy a new car when I rolled out of bed last Wednesday. Then I got the bad news from my service advisor. The stroke my 2001 Beetle had suffered was "terminal." I couldn't justify the potential repair bill for a car nearly 14 years old. The prospect of having to buy a new car without the opportunity to research or do homework was stressful, but Chris was very understanding, and there was no pressure to buy. We reached a point after the test drive of a 2015 Passat when Chris asked what the chances might be that I would be buying a new car that day. I replied, "I thought you realized that it was a given. I need a new car." Although my stresses were self-imposed, Chris, and all the people I interacted with had a calming effect. For financial reasons, I was hoping that my old car would hang on for another year, but it had other plans. I have been very pleased with Volkswagen as a brand, as well as the service department at Berge VW. Other than the brief times I've lived out of state, I've brought my Beetle here its whole life, and have only had the best of experiences. I would definitely recommend Berge Volkswagen for purchasing or servicing your car.

A great price on a used Tiguan! Even though it was a used car it looked like it had just come out of the showroom. Transaction was smooth and seamless. Our sales person was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. Everyone at the dealership was friendly and pleasant. I would definitely do business with them again and recommend them highly.

We loved our salesman Matt K, he made my husband and I feel like we were family the moment we walked through the door, We have done a lot of research and felt like his knowledge and willingness to help us find the very perfect car far surpassed anyone we had talked to anywhere else we had looked. The best decision we could have made was buying at Berge, and we couldn't have asked for a better sales man, we love our new car, and we really feel close to Matt for helping us, he went far out of his way to find what we wanted. We bought a 2014 CC Sport and couldn't be happier! We'll be back when my daughter is ready to trade her 2000 Passat in.

I am a single mother that needs a reliable car that will provide safety for my children. In the past it has been a negative experience when purchasing a vehicle because I was not treated as an intelligent human being and the sales people were condescending. My experience at Berge was totally different from that scenario. The sales person heard all my concerns and asked me intelligent questions in order to help me determine the right car for me. He was very courteous and professiomal and answered all my questioms about the car in terms I could relate to. My experience was very positive and I will refer Berge to all my friends.

From the very start everyone was extremely helpful and informative, answering any and all questions in an obliging manner. I became interested in the Jetta Sportwagen TDI only after I had all but made up my mind to buy a Toyota Prius. My salesman encouraged me to drive both and compare after doing so. There was no pressure and no games and you could tell that he really believed in the quality of the VW that he was selling. I did drive the Prius and was offered a killer deal. Sitting in the Prius at the Toyota dealership I knew that I wanted the JSW. One trip back to Berge and I was able to come away with another great deal, but this time on the car I wanted!

I originally came to service my now previous Volkswagen CC. As I was looking at the newer models, I was approached by Christian, who sold me the car. I was happy to see him as I remembered he made sure I left a satisfied customer. I shared my worries on how I had a few dents and scratches and expressed that I was no longer as excited about the car. He and the manager worked together to give me the best deal I could afford on a new 2014 CC. The whole staff worked great together and showed a genuine concern over my needs and concerns as a customer. Most importantly, they made sure I left once again with a smile on my face.

Amazing-Can't brag enough about the experience. I used to work as a Service Director for Honda for years, and I can tell you after buying numerous vehicles from them that they do not hold a candle to this team. The sales rep simply asked if we had been helped, as we were looking at some cars. No, and I did want to explain our situation (not great financials, just totaled our current car). He was relaxed, empathetic, and suggested an approach to seeing if we could get a car high on our list of desire but low on our list of expectations. This guywas a young man, but mature in his way of relating to people; no BS, just helpful conversation. The end result was us leaving in our new Passat two hours later after a thoroughly enjoyable experience; better than we dreamed possible. The finance person also was awesome. She deserves a pat on the back for a job well done. I am bragging to all my friends whoare used to spending the day buying a car. Wow, that is not an understatement. I just loved the whole experience. Buying cars was my least favorite thing to ever do, after this I will recommend others.

My experience was very pleasant in every respect. The salesman was very patient with me and stayed well past closing time in order to test drive different vehicles. There was no sales pressure and I was allowed to ask many questions and make my decision to buy a well informed one. After choosing which Touareg to purchase they were very professional in explaining all of the necessary paperwork in order to close the deal. This is the second Volkswagen we have purchased at Berge VW. I would highly recommend this dealership and the great products they sell.

Berge VW made the experience a great experience. The salesman listened to what I was looking for and gave it to me in a very timely fashion. He did not try to sell me anything beyond what I was looking for. He minimized wait time and was a pleasure to deal with. I drove off the lot with a new Jetta same day even though they did not even have the car in the lot as inventory. They also gave me a very fair deal on a trade-in.

Let me start off by saying that I do love the brand Volkswagen and I have owned a great many of these cars over the years of both the classic VW's and the new style of Volkswagens. I would not bash this car because generally with the exception of this one particular vehicle they have all been very good cars. This whole ordeal with Berge VW started 2 years ago when a great many of us ran into financial difficulties, and at the time I was leasing a 2010 VW Jetta TDI cup edition with a car note of about 600 dollars. I had gotten released from my job and could not afford to make the car payments on this vehicle. So I did what any person in a bind would have done and I was forced to trade in the vehicle towards something cheaper. In the process of doing so I had to also trade in my 1971 VW karmann ghia which was one of my pride and joys to unbind myself from the negative equity I had in the 2010 jetta. Berge made the deal and sold me a 2005 Jetta with a much lower payment that I could afford. Throughout the entire 2 years of owning this vehicle it has been nothing but problems, lots of littles problems always making it hard to keep up with repairs and car payments and everything else. I struggled for about 2 years with this vehicle before I got back on my feet and decided to trade it in and get something more reliable. I went into another VW dealership in town to look at getting another car, and during the appraisal process the other dealership here in town informed me that the vehicle that I had ownership of was a lemon law buyback, and that the car had virtually no value as a trade in. A car fax report was given to me buy the other dealership, at which time I contacted Berge VW. Upon arrival at the dealership the first time I explained the situation to the manager there at that time and was pretty much brushed off by everyone in the sales tower and pretty much told it was my problem. So I spent a little time reading some of the laws to get a little more information about this type of situation. I found a few things and contacted the Credit Union the car is financed through and VW of America to let them know the situation. The Credit Union notified me a few days later that they don’t do loans on vehicles with these kinds of titles and that they were not aware of it til I had notified them, they also told me that they contacted berge and that berge would be in contact with me soon, After a week they never called. VW of America offered me a voucher towards the purchase of a new car, but said they couldn’t do anything to the dealership until they came up for review again (which I am hoping is soon). After that week of waiting I finally contacted the Arizona State Attorney General Tom Hornes office and 2 days after I got a written letter from the attorney generals office did I finally get a response from Berge asking me to come in. I spent a few days dealing with the General Manager there Steve C (Whom seemed more preoccupied with profit and not losing money than making things right) and his team that tried very hard to try and sell me another vehicle at Prices that were still above some of the other dealerships in town, and I also allowed them to take the car into the shop to verify the transmission issues and other issues with the car (i.e. the Fuel Pump, and Water Pump and Wiring harness that are all failing aswell). In the end they have pretty much state that they did nothing wrong and at this point were asking me for 8000 dollars to fix my car or a huge payment on a new car. The sad thing is that my 71 karmann ghia is back at that dealership again and I had to see it every time I went back over there…. Don’t not buy a vehicle from these people, they are [non-permissible content removed] through and through only looking out for the bottom line and nothing more. [non-permissible content removed]
